The stars aren’t only on the stage this fall season. We have totally restored our historic 1902 skylight with Tiffany snow-flake glass and the original Lord & Burnham greenhouse structure thirty feet above so you can see the real stars! Thank you to Carole Demas for her wonderful concert last December and to all those who attended our fundraiser and those who donated to the skylight restoration fund. The Village approved the remaining funds needed in their capital budget for this fiscal year and work was completed this summer. The glass greenhouse windows on two sides are controlled by two electric motors and now open to allow hot air to escape. While this isn’t air conditioning, the Theater should be more comfortable in the fall and spring months. So now look up at the stars before the curtain rises and then watch as the remote controlled motor - ized shade covers the skylight so the shows can begin! Come toast our skylight unveiling on September 28 th at the Best of Film season opening film, Twenty Feet From Stardom , that spotlights the untold true story of backup singers with interviews with some of the greatest musical legends. Now for the stars on stage! Join Art Garfunkel as he returns to our stage in an Intimate Evening on Oct.12 th . If we sell-out there is a waiting list and we may add an additional performance on Friday. Clocktower Players’ fundraiser this October has award winning Broadway Divas Liz Callaway, Randy Graff and Terri Klausner , so don’t miss out on this dazzling performance! Romp through turn-of-the-century America (how very appropriate in our theater!) in November with Ragtime The Musical! It has a truly over - powering score with varied musical styles from ragtime to banjo tunes, interwoven with the story of three extraordinary families and historical cameos of the era. Don’t miss this exhilarating Broadway revival! Budding thespians and the younger set will love Winnie the Pooh, in December. Reserve your seats early to view the stars on stage and the stars in the sky this fall!
