Official Type Moon Servant Supplement This is the updated Servant Supplement. It is largely the same as the old supplement, albeit updated with new additions from the Fate series. This supplement is to be used to create Servant‟s for the Fate and Fate/Extra jumps, along with any jumps in the future that relate to the creation of Servants. This PDF will guide you through the process of creating your own Servant. Important Note Servants are legendary beings from mythology and fiction, but not all fiction is valid for use. Anything created before 1900 should be perfectly fine, but once it hits the 20th century it becomes iffy. Very early literature in the 1900s should work, but mid-late 20th century and beyond wouldn‟t. Anything from contemporary media such as Comics, Anime/manga, videogames, tv shows or movies is automatically barred. Likewise, any still living character or future character in your particular timeline is not purchasable as a Servant. They have to be dead and EMIYA was a special case that required the intervention of one of the most powerful beings in setting (Alaya) to be sent back in time. You may not summon Servants from previous jump worlds, unless it is a companion you already have with you in which case you may import them as normal. Divine Spirits are also unable to be summoned in Fate jump. These include any sort of God, Titan, Angel etc. However, they are summonable in Fate/Extra, though they will obviously be limited to what stats you can buy for them. -

In the United States this growth has been based on copyright infringement, where fans have subtitled anime series and released them as fansubs. In the absence of official releases fansubs have created the current popularity of anime, which companies can now benefit from. From the beginning the companies have tolerated and even encouraged the fan activity, partly because the fans have followed their own rules, intended to stop the distribution of fansubs after official licensing. The work explores the history and current situation of fansubs, and seeks to explain how these practices adopted by fans have arisen, why both fans and companies accept them and act according to them, and whether the situation is sustainable. Based on the wildly popular Fate franchise by TYPE-MOON which gave anime fans Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works], Fate/Zero, and the hit mobile game Fate/Grand Order, the first film in this film trilogy explodes with epic action and heart-wrenching drama, tied together by original author Kinoko Nasu’s unique storytelling and otherworldly cast of characters. The subtitled version of the film premiered at the historic Theatre at Ace Hotel in downtown Los Angeles with special guests film director Tomonori Sudo, Noriko Shitaya, the voice actress of heroine Sakura Matou, and producer Yuma Takahashi in front of a sold out auditorium of 1,600 fans in November 2017. Aniplex of America partnered with Fathom Events for a nationwide theatrical release of the English dub just last month featuring a brand new video of interviews with the English cast. Both Blu-ray releases will include the aforementioned English cast interviews as well as the PV and CM collection. A major focus of the unit is building a positive classroom culture in which students work together, explore problems, and communicate about their thinking. Most lessons either feature physical manipulatives or a digital widget, and the bulk of lesson time should be spent with students exploring these tools together to develop an understanding of the concepts they highlight. The course intentionally does not start with programming since, in many classrooms, some students have experience with programming and others do not. 1 Between Frames: Japanese Cinema at the Digital Turn Laura Lee, Florida State University Abstract: This article explores how the appearance of composite media arrangements and the prominence of the cinematic mechanism in Japanese film are connected to a nostalgic preoccupation with the materiality of the filmic image, and to a new critical function for film-based cinema in the digital age. Many popular Japanese films from the early 2000s layer perceptually distinct media forms within the image. Manipulation of the interval between film frames—for example with stop-motion, slow-motion and time-lapse techniques—often overlays the insisted-upon interval between separate media forms at these sites of media layering. Exploiting cinema’s temporal interval in this way not only foregrounds the filmic mechanism, but it in effect stages the cinematic apparatus, displaying it at a medial remove as a spectacular site of difference. In other words, cinema itself becomes refracted through these hybrid media combinations, which paradoxically facilitate a renewed encounter with cinema by reawakening a sensuous attachment to it at the very instant that it appears to be under threat. This particular response to developments in digital technologies suggests how we might more generally conceive of cinema finding itself anew in the contemporary media landscape. The advent of digital media and the perceived danger it has implied for the status of cinema have resulted in an inevitable nostalgia for the unique properties of the latter. In many Japanese films at the digital turn this manifests itself as a staging of the cinematic apparatus, in 1 which cinema is refracted through composite media arrangements. -

MoS Episode Transcript: Reid Hoffman MATTHEW MERCER: After days of tumultuous travel through harsh rain and biting winds, you finally ascend the cold, granite steps outside the gates of the mountain city of Grimgoleir. Glancing amongst your comrades from under your soaked cloak, you reach out for the heavy brass knocker and hammer the massive stone door three times. REID HOFFMAN: That's Matthew Mercer, creator of the hit Dungeons and Dragons web series called Critical Role. And right now, Matthew is your Game Master — the central storyteller in a game of Dungeons & Dragons. Which means: Your fate is in his hands. Listen carefully, because he has a question for you. One that could mean the difference between heroic success and epic failure. MERCER: A stillness takes the air, the sounds of rain almost fading as the door slowly opens, releasing the stench of death from within the chambers. Your eyes catch nearby torch light inside, and what appears to be an armored ghoul, slick with fresh blood as it drops some errant piece of a recent kill, and turns its head towards you with a growl. What would you like to do? VOICE: I’m going to stab that nasty ghoul with my magical scimitar and save the day! Come on, lucky sevens! Oh come on — a one? MERCER: Oh, you quickly draw your scimitar, the cold metal warming with the flames that magically dance across its surface as you rush the undead beast, but in your haste, you failed to notice the body on the ground hidden in shadow, catching your foot as your stumble forward, barely catching yourself before you come to stop right at the feet of the now-grinning ghoul. -
