Best Priest EVAR Servant Class: Saber Identity: Arthur/Arturia Pendragon Noble Phantasm: Invisible Air/Excalibur, Avalon, & Caliburn Servant Class: Archer Identity: Future Shirou Emiya Noble Phantasm: *Reality Marble – Unlimited Blade Works (kinda) Servant Class:*Archer Identity: Gilgamesh, a.k.a. “I AM THE RULES! >.<*” Noble Phantasm: Enkidu & Ea Servant Class: Lancer Identity: Cu Chulainn Noble Phantasm: Gae Bolg Servant Class: Rider Identity: Medusa Noble Phantasm: Bellerophon, Blood Fort Andromeda, & Breaker Gorgon Servant Class: Berserker Identity: Heracles Noble Phantasm: God Hand Servant Class: Caster Identity: Medea Noble Phantasm: Rule Breaker Servant Class: Assassin Identity: Sasaki Kojuro (poser >.>) Noble Phantasm: Servant Class: *Assassin Identity: True Assassin /Hassan-I-Sabbah Noble Phantasm: Zabaniya: Delusional Heartbeat Extensive Plot Overview • There’s 3 different routes & 1-4 endings depending on the route ▫ In order: Fate, Unlimited Blade Works, & Heaven’s Feel • Each route needs to be completed in order to obtain the best possible ending –True ending- for each route • As far as the anime’s concerned, mainly the Fate route ▫ Btwn. this & Tsukihime, marvelous examples of why sometimes things are lost in translation from game/date sim/visual novel to an anime or OVA • In the case of the Fate route, the goal is to put an end to the Holy Grail wars, stop Gilgamesh & Kirei, try to find a solution with the most ppl. alive at the end, &, generally, possibly find a way to keep Saber in their time ▫ Anything about Sakura really only occurs in the UBW & HF routes ▫ Trying to save the most amount ppl. also is more so the other 2 routes Classes • Of course, 7 Servant classes ▫ Saber, Archer, Lancer, Berserker, Caster, Rider, & Assassin Then there’s the titular extra B.S. servant classes Avenger, Ruler (Fate/Apocrypha), & Saver (Fate/Extra) • Saber, Archer, & Lancer are supposed to be the strongest classes, in that order, whereas Assassin & then Avenger are the weakest ▫ Supposed to only be able to summon more or less good Epic Heroes as servants but, as usual, exceptions Fate/Stay Night’s Caster ‘cause even Medusa (Rider), if you know her legend, isn’t evil Probably occurs due to Grail’s corruption • Skills, weaknesses, strengths, abilities, etc. all kind follow a card/fight game system of checks & balances ▫ Certain characteristics & skills can cancel out fairly powerful attacks due to its attributes Magic System • Follows the same intricate & comprehensive magick system as the rest of the Type-Moon multiverse • Could try to explain it, we’ll be here all night -.- ▫ Trust me when I say very comprehensive • However, the Command seals are as close as you can get to True Magick ▫ ….unless you’re Touko Aozaki >.> Differences Between Routes • Each ending has 2-3 possible endings • Fate – ▫ Basically, the show’s plot (more or less); focuses on Saber; features both Kirei & Gilgamesh as the main antagonists; only has one ending • Unlimited Blade Works – ▫ Focuses more on Rin & features Gilgamesh as more of the antagonist; the timeline where Shirou becomes the “Wrought Iron” Epic Hero; features Lancer in a more important role, as well as Caster taking full advantage of her Rule Breaker; gives us wedding dress Saber; introduces Sakura’s dark side & her attempt to corrupt/devour the other Servants & awaken Avenger; Completely corrupt Saber = Saber Lily • Heaven’s Feel/Reel – ▫ Focuses on Sakura, Grand Holy Grail is destroyed; Zouken killed (after seeing Justeaze, finally dies, more or less); Kirei defeated in a one-on-one fight with Shirou (depending on ending); Sakura goes bat-sh*t crazy & tries to kill everyone/corrupt all the Servants more or less successfully (leaves Rider, Saber, & Lancer alive depending); the only route/timeline where Shirou doesn’t become Garcher; Shirou loses his arm &, due to Archer losing & about to fade, has Archer’s arm transplanted to his body, so he can do some magicks & better projections The Bad Ending of this route essentially has Shirou grow up to essentially follow Kiritsugu in hiss footsteps to pursue his sense of justice Differences… Fate/Stay Night Realta Nua • Basically, a date sim; i.e., • Extra epilogue after the Fate include sex route, shows Saber waiting for ▫ ‘Cause…sex sells -.- centuries in Avalon for Shirou, As far as I’m concerned, &, after many trials & totally shoe-horned in tribulations, he is finally able to reunite with Saber there • Replaces full-on sex scenes of “sensual magick” with…blood sucking..? Final Thoughts… • Which they would make an OVA for the Heaven’s Feel route >.> • Which they showed Avenger in the anime ▫ Or, new series for Fate/Hollow Ataraxia <.< • I don’t care, I personally enjoy both the dub & sub Basic Overview • Is a sequel that follows the True Ending of the UBW route from Fate/Stay Night ▫ More or less ~.~ • Focuses on the experiences of Caren Hortensia, Bazett Fraga McRemitz, & Avenger during the 5th Holy Grail war…again o.O Caren Hortensia Also, your Father is who??!! Bazett Fraga McRemitz Servant Class: Avenger Identity: Angra Manyou Tortured Nameless Man/”Origin of All Evil” Noble Phantasm: Verg Avesta Extensive Plot Overview • Was the only time a person’s wish was granted by the Grail ▫ Bazett wanting to live after being betrayed & nearly killed by Kirei, her partner Kinda like Kiritsugu’s relationship with Maiya Hisau ▫ But worse ‘cause it’s Kirei • Basically, a 5 day time loop of the events of the 5th Holy Grail war, with her inserted into it as well as Avenger ▫ Only time you actually really get to see Avenger awaken • Avenger masquerades as Shirou by day & himself by night, w/o realizing it • Also, Avenger, not Angra Manyou, is what corrupts the Holy Grail; summoned by the Enzbern family in the 3rd war to be the ‘ultimate servant’, found him to be weaker than the Assassin class, & they sealed him in the Grail, thus corrupting it ▫ Avenger’s supposed to be the “origin of all evil”…probably not the smartest idea X/ Basic Overview • Shows the events that transpired in the 4th Holy Grail war that occurred only several years prior to the events of Fate/Stay Night Kiritsugu Emiya Tokiomi Tohsaka Kariya Matou Waver Velvet Ryuunosuke Uryuu Kayneth Archibald El-Melloi/Sola-Ui Kirei Kotomine a.k.a.
