A quiet afternoon on the deserted island or a sandbank.
Visit one of the local islands, Meedhoo, with its typical Maldivian village, for a taste of local lifestyle, culture and maybe do a little souvenir shopping.
Take a full day island-hopping trip with a beach barbecue for lunch.
The sunset cruise is a must! Enjoy a soft drink while watching the fiery sun disappear and the sky turn that wonderful shade of pink ....so romantic! If you’re lucky you might even see a few dolphins...
For fishermen (and women!) go Fishing for Wahoo, Barracuda or Sailfish on one of the mornings. Alternatively, go trolling which is another popular recreational sport in Maldives, where a fishing line is drawn by a local Dhoni through the bountiful waters. Common catch includes Rainbow Runner, Wahoo and Yellow Fin Tuna. You may count on your luck too…
Another great sunset experience is to go fishing from a Dhoni which will take you out to the reef as the sun sets. Hopefully you will catch your own fish for Dinner the next day.
Have fun with your partner in a virgin island where you will have complete privacy. The dhoni/boat crew will drop you to the island and will wait in the dhoni. You can forget everything else and spend the whole day on this place like your home while enjoying the picnic lunch. This is an excursion for just married couple, lovers, honeymooners and for those celebrating anniversary etc…
For a more private experience you can hire a Dhoni for the day and explore the Atoll to your own schedule. Hop on and off as the mood takes you. Stop and see one of our History written Island namely Kandholhudhu or else you may also go snorkel whenever you want, but always be cautious on your safety aspects.

Sun Set Photo Cruise

Away from the rumors and noise, a simple sunset photos cruise around Meedhupparu Island in a local Dhoni (Boat). Take your camera and make as many pictures as you can enjoy the sunset in the total silence and listen to the music of the waves on the beach, a moment never to be missed.

Sun Rise Photo Flip

As we sail to capture the sunrise, you will start the day with magical colors of wonders, a breath taking moment which will last with you. Be the first to capture the wonders of Mother Nature with the shading colors. Need not be an expert in photography our Dhoni crew will take you the best location to capture the scenery. Breathe the fresh air in the middle of the sea as we sail.

Explore Raa Atoll

Being away from the resort you can relax and enjoy the ride on the Dhoni as we take you to explore the Raa Atoll which is 35 miles (56 km) in length from N to S, and 15 miles (24 km) across at its broadest part. Total of 88 Islands but only 15 inhabited with a population of 24,500. As you sail around the Atoll you will get the chance to experience colorful marine life which will lead your way. Be in the middle of the sea and hear the music of the waves and relax. We will also stop by KANDHOLHUDHU where a history written by TSUNAMI.

Visit Meedhoo Island

Less than fifteen minutes dhoni (Boat) ride from Meedhupparu is the fishing island of Meedho. Here you can see the traditional Maldivian Houses, with many made of local vegetation and thatch or coral stones. You will also see the mosque where the Muslim people pray five times a day. Visit the local island school and see the many beautiful children. The beautiful culture and way of life on a small island will be explained by your guide as you make your way through the village. A must see excursion for everyone.
Money can be taken to Meedhoo Island as there is a small market to purchase souvenirs. Meedhoo Island accepts all major currencies, but no credit cards. Please ensure when you go on to the island you need to wear appropriate clothing to respect the Maldivian Religion. Please wear clothes to cover shoulders and thighs.

Morning Fishing

If you enjoy game fishing or you would like to try something new, then this could be a great adventure. The excitement of pulling in a big fish is incomparable. We set sail before sunrise at 0600 on our traditional Dhoni, hoping to catch same yellow fin Tuna, Wahoo, Jackfish or Barracuda. This excursion enables you to have the opportunity to catch some of the biggest fish in the Maldivian Sea. You could get help from the Dhoni crew if need, so relax and watch the sunrise. The size of catch on this excursion can range from 1 meter to 2.5 meters in length. Some of the large game that is caught, which could be sail fish will be release straight away after photos have been taken. This also could be considered on your luck on the day.

Night Fishing

Enjoy the traditional Maldivian “Hand –Reel Bottom Fishing” with our experienced Dhoni crew. You could catch Red Snapper, Barracuda and Groupers, all fantastic for eating. The Dhoni crew will search for the best place to fish and assist you with bait and reeling the big ones in. When you catch your own fish, the chef will prepare it for you the following night for dinner. Fishing is known to be relaxing but add to this, the serenity of being on the ocean with thousands of stars above you in the night sky, is a trip with lasting memories.

Lovers Paradise

Spend the full day on an uninhabited Island. (Island is 25 minutes by Dhoni). The Dhoni crew will take you there and you won’t see anyone until they return to collect you. This beautiful uninhabited Island is truly paradise with a large Lagoon a white sandy beach, lush vegetation and sometimes many birds. Swim, snorkel or just sit back and relax for a few hours. Enjoy the peace, romance and silence of paradise. Have fun with your partner in a virgin island where you will have complete privacy. The boat crew will drop you to the island and will wait in the boat. You can forget everything else and spend the whole day also enjoying the picnic lunch.
