TO HOLD A PUBLIC LOCAL INQUIRY AND TO SUBSEQUENTLY DETERMINE:

WREXHAM COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (LLANGOLLEN RURAL 73, 115 & CHIRK 49) DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2011

The effect of the Order, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by;

a) Deleting from them, the full width of that part of Llangollen Rural Byway Open to All Traffic 73, commencing at Point D on Order Plan 1 (grid reference SJ 2637 4034) and continuing in a generally south south-west direction for approximately 60 metres to meet the county road at Point G (SJ 2635 4028) on Order Plan 1 and;

b) Adding the footpath commencing from Point D (SJ 2637 4034) on Order Plan 1 and continuing generally south east along a track for approximately 65 metres (crossing the community boundary at Point E) to meet the county road at point F (SJ 2641 4029) on Order Plan 1. Width 2 metres between Point D and Point F on Order Plan 1 and;

c) Downgrading the full width of that part of Llangollen Rural Byway Open to All Traffic 73 to a footpath commencing from the junction with the county road at the properties known as Glas-fryn and Ty Newydd at Point A (SJ 2679 4088) on Order Plan 1 and continuing between the properties and generally south west along a well defined track for approximately 120 metres to Point B (SJ 2670 4082) on Order Plan 1; then continuing generally south west for approximately 220 metres through Pen-y-graig quarry to the junction with Llangollen Rural footpath 77 at Point C (SJ 2653 4068) on Order Plan 1 and then generally south south-west across fields for approximately 390 metres to Point D (SJ

The purpose of the Inquiry is to enable the Inspector to hear representations from those persons who have objected to the Order. Any other interested persons may also attend and be allowed to speak at the discretion of the Inspector.
