Project idea description (max. 30 lines) On the basis of the common language and cultural traditions that tie "the Croatian" villages of the Molise (Acquaviva Collecroce, Montemitro and San Felice del Molise) to the Croatia, the project-idea is to realize a system that it is an instrument of protection and valorisation, but also a way for mobilisation and for a compatible and sustainable development of the territory. The aim is to strengthen the already existing ties. The idea will be realized through the constitution of a net of services (offices, libraries, data base, etc.), what will have not-occasional, flexible and innovative characteristics in order to contribute to local development of the territories involved. The project would strengthen, also in Croatia through the use of CARDS funds, an initiative already started in the Molise Region and financed with the Community Structural Funds (ERDF). The last recipients will be: public and private bodies and local youth that currently find little possibilities of job and low benefit to live in their villages Small enterprises interested to one profitable development and sustainable tourism (as B&B, restaurants, local producers). As example, the type of intervention may be: - Definition of common and shared model for the structure - Creation of an information front-office into a net of literary-coffees and/or similar Croatian structures (libraries). - sharpness of a program of activities in collaboration with the local bodies in respect of the main objects of the project. 2 EN version Regione Molise – Direzione Generale I – Servizio Politiche Comunitarie – Programmazione negoziata 7. Main Objectives (max. 15 lines) - to improve the quality of the connected cultural heritage related to the Croatian language minorities in the contexts of the cross-border cooperation; - to develop linked activities in order to achieve an integrated economic system and promote the mobilisation of the young generation above all; - to create and strengthen light structures what will be able to work in cross-border context and what will contribute to access to some documents (about tourism, cultural or language information) and data base (about projects or activity work in progress ) - to create an office meant as not-occasional, flexible and innovative for the territories interested, and able of carrying out an important function in order to gather all the activities work in progress in the areas involved: for example the creation of Film Commission into both the area of Molise and Croatia, since it has been realized in other regions, with whom it may be possible to collaborate. 8. Expected Outcomes (max. 10 lines) The TRAN-SEA Centre shall work into cross-border level and shall generate also an economic circuit in a position to support it even by the Film Commission and by other activities that may be created. 9. Short description of the impact upon the Adriatic cross border cooperation The enhancement of the historic, linguistic and ethnic-cultural ties are come to create more relationships of cooperation between the Molise Region and the Croatia. The promotion of economy and tourism in the cross-border area also will be facilitated in this way and the trades between the two sides of the Adriatic Sea will be increase in the prospective of advantage for the general local development.
