CHAPTER V CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION A. Conclusion

Meaning is the idea contains in speaking. It means meaning is the important thinking put by speaker in doing communication. It is as the using of language to convey information. connotation often used in literature art. It found in poetry, song lyrics, novels, comic, and movies. Connotation meaning is the way in delivering the meaning undirectly. It used to delivering something by the beautiful way. In the song lyrics, using the connotative meaning be the important role. In delivering the ideas of singer to the listener by using the other words. The listener was undirectly known what the meaning eventhough the singer sing the lyric not used the true words.

In this research, the researcher found the result of research based on the research question what are the connotative meanings that found in The Climb and

Butterfly Fly Away song lyric by Miley Cyrus. The researcher found 26 lyric containing connotations meaning in the song Lyrics of Miley Cyrus are The

Climb and Butterfly Fly Away in ‘Hannah Montana the Movie’ Album. The song by the title Butterfly Fly Away was found 14 lyrics that contained connotative meaning. The song by the tittle The Climb was found 12 lyrics that contained connotative meaning.

B. Suggestion

In this research, the researcher give the hope from the result of this research can be useful for the people. The researcher gives significance of the research becomes to three functions. The first significance is to the researcher herself, it makes the researcher will more understand about the concept of connotative meaning. The second significance is to the reader, it will help the reader gets more comprehensive in connotative meaning. Last significance is for the next researcher. It will help the next researcher to get references about the connotative meaning research. This is in order to complete the research of the next researcher.
