Billy Ray Cyrus Celebrates 25 Years of ‘’ at the Lewis Family Playhouse, Saturday, September 23rd!

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE August 23, 2017 Rancho Cucamonga, California – Get in ‘line’ formation for the multi-million selling country artist that pretty much launched the 90's line dance craze, . Join us in celebrating 25 years of “Achy Breaky Heart” on Saturday, September 23rd at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are priced at $60.00 for General and $58.00 for Seniors for Gold Level Seating. All seats at Platinum Level seating are priced at $65.00.

Throughout the course of nearly three decades, Billy Ray Cyrus has achieved international success as a singer, , entertainer, and philanthropist. He has sold millions of albums, charted 35 singles, 16 of which are Top 40 hits and continues to receive critical acclaim as an actor, writer, and executive producer in film and television.

Throughout the early 90s, Cyrus had a string of releases off the album that bulleted up the charts, including “Achy Breaky Heart,” “Could’ve Been Me,” “Where’m Gonna Live When I Get Home,” “She’s Not Cryin’ Anymore” and the title track, “,” which earned Cyrus the Bob Hope Award for Excellence in Entertainment.

Although he had become a sought-after actor, he stayed committed as an always consummate singer-songwriter. As Cyrus put it, “I became an actor, but I was born a singer-songwriter from Flatwoods, Kentucky. That’s who I am. I lived the music and I couldn’t help but write about it.” Behind the scenes, Cyrus continued to write. While watching daughter, Miley leave for California, he wrote “Ready, Set, Don’t Go,” which ultimately became a worldwide smash.

In between roles, Cyrus released Wanna Be Your Joe in 2006 and he also enjoyed chart success with the album, which featured the father-daughter anthem “” as a duet with Miley.

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the release of “Achy Breaky Heart,” Billy Ray Cyrus has made several new versions of the famed including a one-of-a-kind Spanglish version with Latin superstar Jencarlos Canela. The song is very popular amongst Latino culture and is played at weddings still to this day, so the collaboration is a wonderful celebration of that tradition. Around the world, it is without a doubt that Billy Ray Cyrus is a household name and will continue to be recognized through generations.

An intimate, 536-seat venue, the Lewis Family Playhouse is the crown jewel of the three-acre, 89,000-square-foot Victoria Gardens Cultural Center. The complex at 12505 Cultural Center Drive and is conveniently located off the I- 15 at Foothill Boulevard, as a major anchor of Victoria Gardens. The Box Office is open Monday through Friday from noon to 6:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with free parking available.
