“Robinson Crusoe 4D” Premiere at Orlando IAAPA Attractions Expo

Lionsgate acquired the US distribution rights to the feature-length animated film “Robinson Crusoe 3D”

BRUSSELS, Belgium & BURBANK, USA, Nov. 10, 2015 – nWave Pictures Distribution is proud to announce the premiere of its newest 4D/3D attraction film “Robinson Crusoe 4D” at the IAAPA Attractions Expo in Orlando (FL). This new attraction film is based on the Studio’s fifth feature- length 3D animated film, which is set for worldwide launch in 2016. Distributed exclusively by nWave, the 13-minute “Robinson Crusoe 4D” experience is available in 3D and 4D to theme parks and attraction exhibitors worldwide. IAAPA attendees can experience “Robinson Crusoe 4D” at nWave’s state-of-art screening room (booth #4873) during the IAAPA Attractions Expo, November 17- 20, at Orlando’s Orange County Convention Center.

Directed by Vincent Kesteloot, the animated attraction features Robinson Crusoe, a young Englishman who is shipwrecked on a remote island. As the accident-prone Crusoe tries to adapt to his new life as a castaway, the island’s animals are equally astonished to find this strange creature washed up on their shores. Crusoe meets an optimistic parrot named Tuesday, Carmelo the coolly sophisticated chameleon, and Scrubby the lazy goat. Joining the hilarious antics are Rosie the tapir, a teenage porcupine called Epi and his pangolin buddy Pango, and an adorable kingfisher named Kiki.

With stunning 3D visuals and loveable characters, this attraction film highlights rich and universal values as such as friendship and acceptance, while delivering a charming new take on a beloved story.

“After premiering two new releases at the EAS convention earlier this year: the very successful attraction film ‘Tomb Racers’ produced by Red Star 3D; and the exciting new ride simulation film ‘Dragon Mine Ride’ produced by nWave Pictures; we are thrilled to launch this latest fun-filled adventure for the whole family,” said Eric Dillens, Chairman of nWave Studios. “Brought to the screen for the first time in 3D, this is the tale of Robinson Crusoe as we’ve never seen it before, viewed from the perspective of a larger-than-life parrot named Tuesday.”
