We are pleased to announce that the long awaited ASAQS Centenary Publication has been completed and the first few complimentary copies were delivered to the ASAQS offices shortly before the Christmas break. This was a very exciting moment as this represented the culmination of a very long and painstaking process – but it has certainly been worth all the effort !! All that remains is the visit to Mafikeng (on Friday 19th) and the visit to Namibia by the Executive Director on Friday 26th. The touring party that undertook these trips was comprised of the following persons : * Mr Indresen Pillay (President of ASAQS) * Mr Gert Meyer (Vice President of the ASAQS) * Mr Egon Wortmann (Executive Director of ASAQS) To view the Powerpoint presented by the President during the tour, please click here (Be WARNED it is over 4Mb in size!). The overall programme for this combined trip was planned for the months of January/February 2010 so that the tour may be timeously completed before the next ASAQS Board scheduled for 10/11 March 2010. This tour has enabled the ASAQS members to meet with the ASAQS executive members and to share their experiences, expectations and concerns with each other. A special thanks to all the Chapter representatives for their sterling efforts and superb arrangements to make these visits the success that it was. Thanks also for the kind hospitality afforded the touring group.
