We are looking to recruit a qualified Maths / Computing Teacher to enrich the learning and development of our KS2 and KS3 students.

The successful candidate will be able to create and deliver engaging and innovative lesson plans that meet the needs of all students and includes accurate target setting; set regular and relevant homework, learning and assessments; monitor and report on the progress of students and take appropriate action to ensure all students achieve their potential; demonstrate effective teaching practices and strong behaviour management skill and recognise, value and support the delivery of opportunities which extend beyond the confines of classroom delivery and seek to enrich and add value to the students experience and learning. You will be a team player with a clear understanding of current and future curriculum developments and will be passionate about creativity across all disciplines.

We are ambitious for our students so the teacher appointed will be determined and able to ensure that all students in years 6, 7 and 8 make outstanding progress in both Maths and Computing and possibly other curriculum areas if required.

The Maths and Computing department, where the successful candidate will be based, is in our beautiful Blackminster Middle School site.
