Before 2000 she was a resident of Grozny, Chechnya, which she left for Ingushetia. She currently resides in Norway where she sought asylum. The applicant is represented before the Court by Ms D. Vedernikova, Mr Kirill Koroteev, Mr Philip Leach and Mr William 2 GONCHARUK v. RUSSIA DECISION Bowring, lawyers of EHRAC/Memorial, a human rights NGO with offices in London, as well as in Moscow and in the Northern Caucasus. The respondent Government are represented by Mr P.A. Laptev, the Representative of the Russian Federation at the European Court of Human Rights. A.
