Another Targetlisted Personality Arrested in Zamboanga City ANOTHER TARGETLISTED PERSONALITY ARRESTED IN ZAMBOANGA CITY On or about 11:00 PM of June 30, 2018, joint elements of PDEA Zamboanga City Office and ZCPS 11 conducted a buybust operation at Brgy Tumaga, Zamboanga City which resulted to the arrest of Arnulfo Locson y Buenbyahe @ Al, a target-listed drug personality. Confiscated during the operation is MOL 20 grams of suspected shabu worth Php 136,000 ang Php 500 buybust money. Cases of sec 5 and 11 of article II of RA 9165 are being readied for filling in court against the suspect. A LOCAL DRUG GROUP MEMBER COLLARED IN MARGOSATUBIG, ZDS On or about 10:30 PM of June 30, 2018, joint elements of PDEA Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Office and Margosatubig MPS conducted a buybust operation at Brgy Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur which resulted to the arrest of Brucelee Hajigapor y Bugol @ Benzal, a high value target. Confiscated during the operation were 0.5 gram of shabu worth Php 3,400 and Php 500 used as buy bust money. Cases for violations of Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 are being readied for filling in court against the suspect. DEN MAINTAINERS, BRGY KAGAWAD NAB IN TAWI-TAWI Implementation of a Warrant of Arrest (WoA) by joint elements of PDEA Tawi- Tawi Provincial Office, Bongao MPS, Tawi-Tawi PMFC, 51st SAC PNP SAF which resulted to the dismantling of a drug den in Tubig Tanah, Bongao, Tawi-Tawi on June 30, 2018, at around 1530H. Arrested during the operation were identified as Darawina Bakkal y Jammang, Targetlisted Personality (Subject of WoA) and drug den maintainer; Sabaani Sapayani Habil, Nurfaina Hamsiri Baduli (Brgy. Kagawad of Ungus-Ungus, HVT) Marlina Fermina Ismael and Lawing Bariya Abdul ( also a maintainer, HVT). The operatives confiscated MOL 12 grams of suspected shabu worth Php81, 600.00. The suspects will be facing charges for violations of Sections 6, 7, 11 and 12, Article II of RA 9165. DRUG DEN DISMANTLED; FIVE OTHERS ARRESTED IN IPIL DRUG BUST On June 30, 2018 at 1430H, joint elements of PDEA Zamboanga Sibugay, together with IPIL MDEU conducted a buy-bust operation at Brgy Poblacion, Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay which resulted to the dismantling of drug den and the arrest of Jalaidi Sahajili y Hassan (drug den maintainer/HVT), Ruben Garcia y Colonia (drug den maintainer/HVT) , Jerry Barquin y Monares, Mariano Sabroso y Basera, Jeyno Cris Espacio y Lamban. Confiscated during the operation were five (5) pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu MOL 20 grams worth Php136,000. 00, several drug paraphernalias, and Php500 pesos used as buy bust money. Cases for violations of Section 5,6,7,11,12,13,14 and 26 Article II of RA 9165 are being readied for filing in court against the suspects. PDEA ARRESTS FIVE DRUG PERSONALITIES IN RECODO, ZC Five drug personalities were arrested by joint elements of PDEA, City Drug Enforcement Unit / Intelligence Branch, Special Drug Enforcement Team, Police Station 11, Police Station 6, C2, Tactical Operations Command, W2, Tactical Operations Wing WESTMINCOM PAF during a buy-bust operation conducted at Purok 6, Recodo, Zamboanga City on June 29, 2018. The suspects were identified as Alhasid Yasin, Roilo Comdra, Pajeja Yasin, Manuel Jr. Gontinan and Rhem John Delos Santos. Confiscated during the operation were 8 sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less 16 grams worth Php108, 000.00, several drug paraphernalia and Php500. 00 used as buy-bust money. The suspects will be facing charges for violations of RA 9165. TWO LOCAL DRUG GROUP MEMBERS ARRESTED IN TWO SEPARATE DRUG BUSTS IN MARGOSATUBIG Two local drug group members were arrested by joint elements of PDEA, Provincial Intelligence Branch-Zamboanga del Sur Provincial Police Office (PIB- ZDSPPO) and Margosatubig Municipal Police Station during buy-bust operations conducted in two separate puroks in Poblacion, Margosatubig, Zamboanga del Sur on June 20, 2018. At around 1530H, the teams arrested the suspect identified as Rodel Delos Reyes Samson a.k.a. "Rodel", 45 years old, and married at Purok Rubia. Confiscated from Samson were two (2) sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less One (1) gram worth Php6,800.00 and Php1,000.00 utilized as buy-bust money. In a separate operation at around 1840H of the same date, another member of the local drug group was also arrested in Purok Santan. The suspect was identified as Eduardo Berenio Lonzon a.k.a. "Edot", 36 years old, married and a resident of the said place. Confiscated from Lonzon were three (3) sachets of suspected shabu weighing more or less One (1) gram worth Php6,800.00 and Php1,000.00 used as buy-bust money. Both suspects are being charged for violations of RA 9165. EDUARDO BERENIO LONZON DRUG GROUP MEMBER, DEN MAINTAINER NABBED IN ZAMBOANGA DRUG BUST A local drug group member and a maintainer of the drug den were arrested by joint elements of PDEA and Zamboanga City Police Office Intelligence Branch during a buy-bust operation at Brgy. Camino Nuevo-C, Zamboanga City on June 15, 2018. The arrested suspects were identified as Paulita Tubil, member of a local drug group and co-maintainer of dug den, and Grace Berdin, the maintainer of the said drug den. Also arrested during the operation, having caught during pot-session were Orlando Jr. Tubil (drug den employee), Raymark Monroy (visitor) and Rowell Macaso (visitor). Confiscated during the operation were three sachets of suspected shabu worth Php81, 600.00, several drug paraphernalia and cash amounting to Php1, 200.00. The operatives also recovered the Php1, 500.00 used as buy-bust money. Cases for violations of RA 9165 will be filed in court against the suspects. TARGET-LISTED DRUG PERSONALITY ARRESTED IN DIPOLOG CITY A high value target drug personality was arrested by joint elements of PDEA, PNP Provincial Intelligence Branch and 901st Maneuver Company RMFB9 during a buy bust operation conducted at Estaka, Dipolog City on June 16, 2018. The arrested suspect was identified as Bienvenido Gamolo y Palomares a.k.a. "Dodo". Said suspect is ranked no. 8 in the target list of PDEA. Confiscated during the operation were three (3) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing more or less 21 grams worth Php157,000.00, and one unit pick up vehicle with key. The operatives also recovered the Php3,000.00 used as buy bust money. The suspect will be facing charges for violations of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. BARANGAY CHAIRMAN BUSTED IN BASILAN Barangay Chairman of Barangay Bato in Lamitan City, Basilan was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by PDEA, PNP and Philippine Army on June 30, 2018. At around 5:30 in the morning, joint elements of PDEA BASILAN PO, PDEA SULU PO, 53rd SAC, 74TH IB, LAMITAN CPS, 19TH SFC conducted a buy-bust operation on June 30, 2018 at Brgy Bato, Lamitan City, Basilan which resulted to the arrest of Brgy Chairman Adzhar "OMBOK" Macrohon, a Targetlisted Personality and who also was included in the PRRD list of narcopoliticians. Confiscated during the operation were MOL 20 grams of suspected shabu with estimated value of Php136K, cal .45 pistol, assorted ammunitions and hand grenade. Sections 5 and 11 of RA 9165 and RA10591 will be filed in court against the suspect. .

The presence of the Subanen people during the event vividly manifest their support to the program. “Now that the Indigenous Peoples (IP) become our partner in the implementation of the Child Protection Policies, we have consistently got zero child abuse case rate and continue to be on top in every endeavor,” Mayor Merlinda P. Maata proudly expressed. The municipality of Vincenzo Sagun (V.     PHILIPPINES Operational Presence supporting Returning and Locally Stranded Population in BARMM As of 22 July 2020 Returning Filipinos from Sabah (REFs) Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) An estimated 5,300 returning Filipinos from Sabah (REFS) are set to arrive by batches of 400 people starting 4 July, On 6 July, the BARMM government was informed on the arrival of 499 locally stranded individuals from Manila who are this is according to the Ministry of Social Services and Development of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in bound for the island provinces of Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi. The LSIs disembarked in Cagayan de Oro City instead of Muslim Mindanao (MSSD-BARMM) and was mentioned during the Protection cluster meeting on 7 July. After this, the LSIs were transported and housed in four facilities in Sultan Kudarat to await the children, 11 age of 16-17 years old, and 7 are of age 60 years old and above.

Existing Conditions of Flood and Disaster Management in Bangsamoro CHAPTER 5 EXISTING CONDITIONS OF FLOOD AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT IN BANGSAMORO 5.1 Floods and Other Disasters in Bangsamoro 5.1.1 Floods (1) Disaster reports of OCD-ARMM The Office of Civil Defense (OCD)-ARMM prepares disaster reports for every disaster event, and submits them to the OCD Central Office. However, historic statistic data have not been compiled yet as only in 2013 the report template was drafted by the OCD Central Office. OCD-ARMM started to prepare disaster reports of the main land provinces in 2014, following the draft template. Its satellite office in Zamboanga prepares disaster reports of the island provinces and submits them directly to the Central Office. Table 5.1 is a summary of the disaster reports for three flood events in 2014. Unfortunately, there is no disaster event record of the island provinces in the reports for the reason mentioned above. According to staff of OCD-ARMM, main disasters in the Region are flood and landslide, and the two mainland provinces, Maguindanao and Lanao Del Sur are more susceptible to disasters than the three island provinces, Sulu, Balisan and Tawi-Tawi.
