HUSKERS SET TO HOST BIG TEN 2021 SCHEDULE CHAMPIONSHIPS MICHIGAN - POSTPONED The No. 4 Huskers are set for the Big Ten Championships which will take place at the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Neb. This is JAN. 24 | LINCOLN, NEB. | 12:30 P.M. the first time Nebraska has hosted the event since 2014 and the at PENN STATE - 403.050-406.900 first-time ever at PBA. All seven teams competing in the Big Ten Championships are currently ranked in the top 10 in the NCAA. FEB. 7 | STATE COLLEGE, PA. | 12:00 P.M. LAST TIME OUT MINNESOTA - 407.700 - 397.800 NU finished the regular season at Iowa in a close meet, falling to FEB. 13 | LINCOLN, NEB. | 2:00 P.M. ® the Hawkeyes, 406.650-406.700. Despite the loss, the Huskers claimed the event titles on five of the six events. at ILLINOIS (405.550), vs. Sam Phillips claimed the floor title after notching a 14.30. Evan MICHIGAN (413.300) - 401.600 Kriley, matching his career-high score of 14.10, earned the FEB. 21 | CHAMPAIGN, ILL. | 2:00 P.M. pommel horse title. Dylan Young claimed the rings title with a career-high score of 13.90. Evan Hymanson earned his second OHIO STATE - 411.100 - 406.700 parallel bars title of the season with a 13.95. Dillan King, earning MARCH 6 | LINCOLN, NEB. | 6:00 P.M. a career-high score of 14.20, claimed the high bar title. at IOWA - 406.650 - 406.700 SCOUTING THE COMPETITION MARCH 20 | IOWA CITY, IOWA | 3:00 P.M. Michigan is coming to the Big Ten Championships as the No. 1-ranked team in the conference and are the 2021 regular season BIG TEN CHAMPIONSHIPS champions. Leading the Wolverines is sophomore Paul Juda who APRIL 3 | LINCOLN, NEB. | 7:00 P.M. was named the 2021 Big Ten Gymnast of the Year and currently leads the NCAA in the all-around with an average score of 83.64. at NCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS Senior Cameron Bock is also a gymnast to watch as he is the APRIL 16-17 | MINNEAPOLIS, MINN. | second-ranked gymnast in the all-around with an average score of 82.34.     2021 College Gymnastics Association Awards Program CGA AWARDS PROGRAM 2021 1 Statement from CGA President Mike Burns Last year at this time we were just at the start of a year that some would prefer to forget altogether. We lost the last part of our season which was devastating to us all. No conference and national champions were crowned, no All-Americans were determined, no epic battles were fought on the competition floor. And that was a bitter pill to swallow. Every one of us was impacted in a negative way. Something we always expected to happen was taken away and that started the process of self reflection and trying to manage the tidal wave of emotions that washed over us all. It was a time we'd all like to forget indeed. However, if we decided to forget this crazy year, think about all of the awesome things we'd be purging from our memories. All the Zoom meetings with our teams that helped strengthen the bonds within our teams; all the ways you found to stay in shape; all the injuries that actually had a chance to heal a little further; all the positive energy you were forced to find in the face of adversity to just find a way. Adversity is an interesting thing. At first it seems impenetrable, a problem without a solution. But then, what happens? Our collective creative juices start to flow and solutions are discovered. We enter the 'Lewis & Clark' phase of discovery. We drive into unknown territory and while it seems daunting at first, lo and behold, we adjust to a new way of thinking and acting that never would have occurred if not for the original adversity we encountered.

    2020 College Gymnastics Association Awards Program CGA AWARDS PROGRAM 2020 1 Statement from CGA President Mike Burns As we try to navigate through these new and unsettled waters, we all need to find our own ways to stay positive and manage this uncharted territory. One thing I know about the gymnastics community I’m proud to be a part of – we are resilient, we are innovative, we are positive, and we will rise above what ever adversity that gets in our way. In our world of NCAA Men’s Gymnastics, we have suffered a tremendous blow to the 2020 season with all the shutdowns and cancelations around the country. In a little over a week the world we knew was turned upside down. One day we were all preparing for our next meet and the upcoming end-of-season championship meets, and the next day the season was over. No end-of-season dual meets, no Conference Championships, no NCAA Championships. That’s a tough pill to swallow. And what a way for our seniors to end their careers. We now are in the process of adjusting to a new reality. As with any crisis, there are things we can control and there are things we can’t control. Let’s discard the things we can’t control that sap our positive energy, and focus on the things we can control and find a way to be productive. I’m sure we all went through a series of emotions that ran rampant through our veins – first shock, then denial, then disbelief, then anger, then disappointment, then sadness – and then it was time to recalibrate and get a move on.
