PRESS RELEASE: NKURENKURU WELCOMES FIRST EVER MTC MOBILE HOME

Start// 26th September 2017 – - By long last Nkurenkuru, on 22nd September 2017, celebrated the opening of its first ever MTC Mobile Home in the town. The Nkurenkuru Mobile Home becomes the 34th store in the country and it will offer full range of MTC Services. The operating hours will be from, Monday to Thursday 08h00 until 17h00, Fridays from 09h00 until 17h00 and Saturday's from 08h00 until 13h00. The commissioning of the Nkurenkuru Mobile Home will also see it bring an end to back and from commuting to the town of , which was the only shop that provided MTC service in the entire – before the division into two regions namely and East. Following the formation of the Kavango West Region in 2014, MTC took a considered business approach in which it informed on our planners to start the necessary ground work of finding a space to set up a shop in the town, to serve the newly established region. “This very strategic shop, had it not been for the challenges we encountered in finding suitable premises it would have been a reality longtime ago in 2016, however we are glad to state that the residents of Nkurenkuru are now indeed part of the 081 family with their own shop. Added Ekandjo, the Nkurenkuru Mobile Home just like the Eenhana Mobile Home which opened its door last month rests directly in the company newest strategic outlook as underwritten by its 081Every1 project which seeks to ensure 100 percent population density network coverage in the next two years.
