Elyse grew up competing around Ohio, and has since trained with world-renowned instructors in all styles at intensives such as Jazz Dance World Congress, as well as in New York City at Broadway Dance Center and Steps on Broadway. After completing her BFA in 2017, she has been teaching and choreographing throughout Ohio and . In 2018, she attended the National Dance Institute of New Mexico’s Teaching Excellence workshop and worked with a local Columbus non-profit to bring dance, music and performance to public school children. She puts technique at the heart of her teaching and believes in using dance education to build work ethic, inspire, and put students on the path to leading meaningful lives. Elyse is an active member of Dance Masters of America, Ohio Dance Masters Chapter 16. She currently resides in Chicago and spent 2019 and the beginning of 2020 dancing on scholarship with the Hubbard Street Lou Conte Dance Studio

Denise Gillman, FDCCA, AISTD – Academy Founder Ms. Gillman began her Denise Gillman early training in Michigan with Marjorie B. Randazzo; she was the recipient of the Hammond Scholarship allowing her to continue as a full-time student at the National Ballet School of Canada. Ms. Gillman is a frequent guest teacher in the United States and Europe, including faculty positions at the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre School, Carnegie Mellon University, Louisville Ballet School, the International Summer School of the Cecchetti Council of America, ISTD – Cecchetti, and the Kate. Simmons School in England. Ms. Gillman is familiar with Balanchine style and has training in the Vaganova and RAD methods of teaching although her teaching preference is the Cecchetti Method. Through many years of continued education, dedication, and love of dance, Ms. Gillman has achieved an associate diploma from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing and has also earned her Cecchetti Diploma as a dancer and teacher. Denise is a member of Ohio Dance Masters Chapter 16, Dance Masters of America, and an Examiner for the Cecchetti Council of America.

Chryssie Whitehead-Disbrow is originally from South Chryssie Whitehead Carolina and began her career as a Rockette right out of highschool. From starting out as a dancer to training in musical theatre at AMDA Conservatory in NYC, 20 years later she would go on to perform the role of Velma on Broadway in CHICAGO, as the understudy. With a career of over 20 years working in Los Angeles and New York, acting in over 13 television shows (Grey’s Anatomy, etc.), film, most notably known for a sweet romantic comedy with Raven Simone, “Revenge of the Bridesmaids” to making her Broadway debut in the revival of “.” Theatre roles include: Lola in , Cassie in A CHORUS LINE, Kathy in & Bombalurina, in CATS.She leads a creative, artistic life teaching across the globe and now online with her performing arts educational company, www.BroadwayArtsCommunity.com, co-founded with her best friend, Alexis Carra. She has directed and/or choreographed productions of CHICAGO, INTO THE WOODS, SHREK, GREASE & BEAUTY & THE BEAST. You can see her acting on the big screen next Christmas in a small role in Steven Spielberg’s remake of “WEST SIDE STORY!” Chase Haley Bowden is from Cincinnati Ohio and started dancing at the age of 10 years old dancing for his studio owner and mother Amy Reik. Chase trains in Chase Bowden ballet, tap, jazz, acro, contemporary, musical theatre, hip hop, lyrical, and ballroom. Chase has been seen in GQ Magazine and on global commercials, magazines, billboards, and posters from his worldwide campaign with “Timberland” in 2018. Chase was seen World of Dance Season 1 with the “Miami All Stars” and Season 2 with “Embodiment the Collective.” Chase was featured in Shanghai Fashion Week dancing and modeling for GAP, Old Navy, Zara, and FILA. Chase has also back up danced for artist Bebe Rexha, Shoshana Bean, Gwen Stefani, and Ciara. Chase has also danced on NBC’s The Voice, Fox’s Teen Choice Awards, NBC’s 4th of July Spectacular, NBCs Holidays with the Hough’s, and The Emmys. Chase has recently gotten off Derek Hough’s 59-city national tour all across the United States. Chase has taught internationally around the world. He is currently teaching on “WILD” dance intensive and loves to share his passion any chance he can get.
