The Tigers defense continues to improve under the system of associate head coach Greg Johnson who took over as defensive coordinator after the Tigers’ loss to Jackson State. Texas Southern vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff Head to Head Senior linebacker William Parker leads the Tigers defense with 63 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 2 forced fumbles. Sophomore defensive backs Adrian Bennett and Le’Tevin TEAM STATS TSU UAPB Wilcox are next with 43 and 41 tackles respectively. Bennett has 7 TFL and 4 pass breakups RECORDS(overall /conf.) 2-6 / 2-4 6-2 / 5-1 while Wilcox has an interception, 2 forced fumbles and a fumble recovery for a touchdown.
