Coverage under this Permit. 1.1 Eligibility. 1.1.1 Facilities Covered. To be eligible to discharge under this permit, you must (1) have a storm water discharge associated with industrial activity from your primary industrial activity, as defined in Appendix A, provided your primary industrial activity is included in Appendix D, or (2) be notified by the Department that you are eligible for coverage under Sector AD of this permit. This permit also authorizes storm water discharges from any industrial activity designated by the Department where the designation is based on the potential for contribution to a violation of a water quality standard or for significant contribution of pollutants to Waters of the State. 1.1.2 Allowable Storm Water Discharges. Unless otherwise made ineligible under Part 1.1.4, the following discharges are eligible for coverage under this permit: 1.1.2.1 Storm water discharges associated with industrial activity for any primary industrial activity and co-located industrial activities, as defined in Appendix A; 1.1.2.2 Discharges designated by the Department as needing a storm water permit as provided in Part 8 Sector AD; 1.1.2.3 Discharges that are not otherwise required to obtain NPDES permit authorization but are commingled with discharges that are authorized under this permit; 1.1.2.4 Discharges subject to any of the national storm water-specific effluent limitations guidelines listed in Table 1-1; and Table 1-1.
