Monroe County YMCA 4 day / 3 night TN Adventure – June 14-17, 2016

Day 1 – Tuesday, June 14, 2016 10:00 a.m. Depart Columbia for Nashville, TN (314 miles). 3:30 p.m. Arrive Nashville. Meet our local representative and check-in: GuestHouse Inn (615) 885-4030 2420 Music Valley Drive 4:45 p.m. Dinner included at the Aquarium Restaurant, located inside . Dive into the Aquarium Restaurant, a spectacular underwater dining adventure where you are seated around a 200,000 gallon centerpiece aquarium with more than 100 species of colorful tropical fish. 7:00 p.m. Experience the – Nashville’s must-see attraction and the world’s longest running live radio show. As the home of , the Opry offers an incredible mix of talent to create an American experience like no other!

Day 2 – Wednesday, June 15, 2016 6:30 a.m. – 8:00 a.m. Deluxe continental breakfast included at hotel. 8:00 a.m. Depart for Studio B. 8:30 a.m. Enjoy a personally guided tour of historic RCA Studio B, Home of 1,000 Hits, where music legends recorded timeless songs. Stand where Elvis himself stood to record over 200 songs. 10:00 a.m. Admission included to the Country Music Hall of Fame, where you can hear rare recordings of country’s legendary performers, see behind-the-scenes films by today’s stars, along with costumes, instruments and personal treasures from country music’s past and present. 11:30 a.m. Free time on historic 2nd Avenue (downtown) for lunch on own. 1:30 p.m. Professional guided city tour of Nashville. You’ll be hosted around Nashville and exposed to the best of Music City. Learn about the Athens of the South, drive by the star’s homes, and gather interesting facts about Nashville’s history, industries and famous people. Tour sites include Nashville downtown area, State Capitol, , Riverfront Park, The , Centennial Park & the , Music Row’s Recording Studios, The Governor’s Mansion, Vanderbilt University, Belmont College and many other points of interest. 4:30 p.m. Return to hotel to freshen up. 5:30 p.m. Buffet dinner and country music variety show included at Nashville Nightlife Theatre. Come and experience a celebration of Country Music from both past and present. Hear songs from many of the great artists in country music history along with today's hottest superstars. Enjoy the music of everyone from Sr. and to the superstars of today like and Toby Keith! Day 3 – Thursday, June 16, 2016 6:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Deluxe continental breakfast included at hotel. 8:30 a.m. Depart for the Hermitage. 9:00 a.m. Admission included to the Hermitage, home of President Andrew Jackson. The Hermitage mansion has been meticulously restored to its 1837 appearance and today looks much as it did when Andrew Jackson returned to it after finishing his second term as President. When you arrive at the Hermitage mansion, costumed historical interpreters greet you and prepare you for your tour. Inside, historical interpreters stationed throughout the house tell you about Jackson, his family, and his home and answer any questions you have. Self- guided tours of the Hermitage grounds have much to offer including the Hermitage garden, Jackson’s tomb, and the Beyond the Mansion tour of sites related to slavery, farming, and nature at the Hermitage. 12:00 p.m. Free time for shopping, etc. with lunch on own at Opry Mills, 's premier shopping destination. Opry Mills is a bargain shopper’s paradise with more than 200 manufacturer outlets, off-price retailers and unique specialty stores, including 20 movie screens, Regal IMAX® Theatre and Bass Pro Shop. With more than 1.2 million square feet of shopping, dining and “Shoppertainment”, you could easily spend an entire day here. 3:00 p.m. Walking tour of the Gaylord Opryland Resort. 4:00 p.m. Free time to explore the Gaylord Opryland Resort on your own. 5:00 p.m. Return to hotel to freshen up. 6:00 p.m. Dinner included at Santa Fe Cattle Company. Day 4 – Friday, June 17, 2016 6:30 a.m. – 8:30 a.m. Deluxe continental breakfast included at hotel. 8:30 a.m. Depart for home.
