Immediately following the broadcast, the sneak peek will be available on wnetwork.com for 24 hours. Additionally, W Network just dropped the trailer for the new season. Produced by Lionsgate, ABC Studios and Opry Entertainment, the two-hour season premiere of Nashville will debut on its new Canadian home, W Network, on Thursday, January 5 at 9 p.m. ET/PT. Nashville is set against the backdrop of the city's music scene and follows Rayna Jaymes and Juliette Barnes. Both women face personal and professional challenges as they navigate their paths as artists and individuals. Surrounding them and often complicating their lives are their family, friends and, in some cases, lovers, as well as the up-and-coming performers and songwriters trying to get ahead in the business. Music City can mean so many things to different people. In Nashville, musicians and songwriters are at the heart of the storm driven by their own ambitions. Some are fueled by their creativity and passion for fame. Others struggle to cope with the pressures of success and are doing everything in their power to stay on top. The new season begins with Rayna and Deacon facing a new normal with Maddie now back home and Highway 65 struggling financially. The shocking news about Juliette creates a wave of emotions throughout Nashville and sets Rayna off on a journey of discovery. Nashville stars Connie Britton as Rayna Jaymes, Hayden Panettiere as Juliette Barnes, Clare Bowen as Scarlett O’Connor, Chris Carmack as Will Lexington, Charles Esten as Deacon Claybourne, Jonathan Jackson as Avery Barkley, Sam Palladio as Gunnar Scott, (Canadian) Maisy Stella as Daphne Conrad and (Canadian) Lennon Stella as Maddie Conrad. In addition, the upcoming season will feature Joseph David-Jones as Clay, Rhiannon Giddens as Hallie Jordan, Jen Richards as Allyson Del Lago, and Cameron Scoggins as Zach Welles in recurring roles. Produced by Lionsgate, ABC Studios and Opry Entertainment, production is currently underway in Nashville. The series is executive produced by Marshall Herskovitz and Ed Zwick (the creators of Thirtysomething), Steve Buchanan and Callie Khouri. The series airs in 225 territories worldwide. Since its debut, the show has inspired 10 soundtracks, including a Christmas album, which have collectively sold more than one million album units and over 5 million single-track downloads to date. It has also been nominated for multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and Critics Choice awards. - 30 - SOCIAL MEDIA LINKS: Follow Corus PR on Twitter @CorusPR Subscribe to the W Network YouTube channel: YouTube.com/user/OfficialWNetwork Follow W Network on Twitter @W_Network, Facebook facebook.com/wnetwork and Instagram @w_network Follow W Dish Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube W Network is a Corus Entertainment Network. Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko Reunite for a Taco Date By Meghan Fitzgerald Could it be? Hayden Panettiere and Wladimir Klitschko are giving one another a second chance at love! An onlooker told People, “The duo was spotted together enjoying lunch at Taco Beach Shack in Hollywood on Monday.” The Nashville actress and Ukrainian heavyweight boxing champion have been seen together since the beginning of January, reports UsMagazine.com. After their split in May of 2011, they never really lost contact. They held a steady courtship and is now giving love a second chance! How do you know when to give an old flame a second chance? Cupid’s Advice: Second chances are challenging for some people. They don’t want to be hurt over again, they don’t want to be in a vulnerable state by getting back together. In certain scenarios, it is okay to rekindle the flame. With these situations, you have to be completely sure that giving a second chance is the right thing to do. It is a strong possibility that you think you should give a second chance however, in reality it’s not. Cupid has some advice: 1. They’ve changed: If the relationship ended because your partner ended up changing from when you first began to date, they can change again. Although you may not want to believe that they’ve changed because of past reasons, believe it! People change! If they change for the better, why not give them a second chance? If your relationship was golden before they changed, and you want that again, test the water and go for it.
