The overreaching goal of the Committee is to provide more opportunities for the less privileged and under-resourced in the Hong Kong community to engage in the game, whilst also promoting tennis as a sport that offers an enjoyable way to participate in an active, healthy lifestyle for all.

HKTA Foundation As an initiative to reinforce governance on the Association’s fundraising activities, the HKTA Foundation was founded in 2020 as the charitable fund pledging platform of HKTA. The Foundation is registered as a tax-exempt charity under Section 88 of the Inland Revenue Ordinance.

The Foundation’s vision is to enhance the lives and well-being of disadvantaged & under-resourced groups, as well as those with disabilities in the community through active engagement in the sport of tennis. The core focus is on offering access to sports training to further the educational and personal development of these groups in a fun and active way. This vision of the HKTA Foundation aligns with the mandate of the CSR Committee.

The Foundation’s key mission is to raise money through donations and the organisation of fund-raising events to support HKTA’s existing HKTA officials worked on the following events in 2020 community programmes and increase their reach and scope across Hong Kong.
