Jacky Bush (PCC) – Chair The Friends of St Mary’s Netherbury was formally Registered Charity No. 1147441 Glen Bishop – Secretary launched on 27 March 2010. The group was set up to raise much needed funds through memberships, donations and fundraising Roger Miles – Treasurer activities to help maintain the fabric of the church Anthea Davis and churchyard.

The church itself provides a focal point for the Elizabeth Findlay village and is very much the heart of village life. Currently, overall annual church expenses run to more than £28,000. In addition the Friends supported the St Mary’s Bells restoration appeal which sought to raise £50,000. The much needed refurbishment was completed in 2015 and Membership Form depleted our funds to some extent. Contrary to popular belief the Church of does not fund parish churches.

We really need your support to help retain this important part of our village heritage now and for future generations.
