Beers on Tap Devil’s Backbone Vienna Lager- $7.00 - Great American Beer Festival Silver Medal winner a chestnut-colored lager with a malty aroma and subtle toasty sweetness derived from a multi-stage mash. A pinch of noble hops gives this refreshing beer a clean finish. Local from Nellysford, Virginia. Basic City Six Lords IPA-$7.25- Local Virginian IPA slightly hazy amber color; great citrusy hop aroma with nice grapefruit notes; great fruity, citrusy hop flavor; very hop forward with lots of nice grapefruit hop notes and some tropical fruit notes; light, bready malt base Guinness Stout-$7.25- Black color with brown reflexes and a light creamy head, the aroma of toasted malt and coffee is pleasant. The body is light and a little fizzy with a toasted bitter taste. Blue Moon Belgian Ale-$7.00- A wheat beer brewed with Valencia orange peel for a subtle sweetness and bright, citrus aroma. Pale Fire Red Molly Irish Red Ale-$7.25- Local Harrisonburg, Virginia Irish Red ale starts with authentic Irish Ale malt. Cherry notes and a slight residual sweetness come from Crystal and Munich malts, with a touch of chocolate wheat. A clean bitterness, courtesy of mild British hops, balances the malt complexity and results in a flavorful and refreshing pint. Bell’s ‘Two Hearted” IPA $ 7.25- This beer is remarkably drinkable, brewed with 100% Centennial hops this IPA is bursting with hop aromas ranging from pine to grapefruit. Perfectly balanced with a malt backbone and combined with the signature fruity aromas of Bell's house yeast, Alewerks “Brown Ale”-$7.00- Six malt varieties meld with an English yeast strain and floral American hops to produce an approachable yet still complex American Brown ale. Devil’s Backbone Black Lager-$5.50-German style Schwarzbier with malty taste from roast and caramel malts, slightly sweet with just a bit of bitterness and a clean finish. Light bodied but not thin, with decent carbonation. O’Connor “El Guapo” Agave IPA-$6.00- El Guapo is a medium-bodied Agave India Pale Ale with grassy citrus nose, notes of sweet caramel, and finishes with a smooth but strong bitterness. Star Hill “The Love”-$5.50- The Love is an unfiltered wheat beer, also known as a hefeweizen. It is distinguished by its extremely light body and fruity aroma, finished with spicy notes. South Street “Satan’s Pony”-$5.50- Malty Amber ale, easy on the palate with a solid bit of malt, caramel, bread, light sweetness and a complimentary touch of hop bitterness with clean, lasting finish. Craft Beers Abita “Purple Haze”-$6.00- Crisp, American style wheat beer with raspberry puree added after filtration. The raspberries provide the lager with a subtle purple coloration and haze, a fruity aroma, and a tartly sweet taste. Founder’s Centennial IPA-$5.25- Creamy head, hazed from the hops with a dark orange tawny hue. It has soft hop oil aroma, clean but pungent citric hop character, warming white pepper alcohol with layers of fruitiness and toasted caramel from middle to end. Craft Beers Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA-$7.99- A bright, firm bouquet with lemon/citrus notes and a bit of toasty malt. The palate is light-bodied, but there is some Munich-malt character along with plenty of lemon and orange-peel hop flavor. The bitterness outweighs the ma. Flying Dog “Double Dog” Double Pale Ale-$7.50- Generously hopped ale with a deep red color which pours with a nice frothy head. The abundance of hops will conjure some provocative aromas with hints of raisins and citrus. Lagunitas “Lil’ Sumpin' Sumpin’” -$5.25- Truly unique style featuring a strong hop finish on a silky body. A hoppy pale wheat ale that is great for IPA fans but so smooth that the Hefeweizen fans dig it too Rogue Dead Guy Ale-$6.75- Amber orange color, very smooth and well balanced, nicely hopped and overall, quite delicious taste. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale-$5.25- Aromas of pine, orange peel and grapefruit, hops are pungent but not overwhelming. Bitterness is kept in balance by warm malt and a hint of light caramel. The dry finish is exceptionally long with a really nice nuttiness from yeast. SweetWater “Hash” Session IPA-$5.50- Golden color with the aroma of citrus fruit and some mild hops, the taste is a crisp citrus beer with some excellent mild hop flavor. Victory Golden Monkey-$6.25- Belgian-style triple ale with German malts and Belgian yeast are tempered by a sparkling approach and overall light body with abundant herbal, fruity notes make this one to savor. 9.5% Imported Beers Negra Modelo-$5.00- This Munich Dunkel (dark) style is characterized by its liberal use of roasted or toasted malts. The slow roasting of the malts alone makes the brewing process last twice as long as other beers, producing its signature reddish color and hint of sweetness. Corona-$5.00- An easy drinking beer, light in color, flavor and substance; add a lime to bring out the flavor. Sam Smith’s Oatmeal Stout-$6.99- Opaque black color with a big tan head and taste of roasted malts, oats and very faint chocolate; extremely tasty and filling. This smooth and lightly effervescent beer has a fresh creamy texture and pleasant lingering aftertaste.
