IAA Nutzfahrzeuge Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, 65 th IAA Commercial Vehicles International Motor Show liebe Kolleginnen und Kollegen, Streckennetz der Messe-Presse-Busse / Press vom 25. September bis 2. Oktober 2014 öffnet die 65. Internationale Automobil-Ausstellung Press-Shuttle bus service on the Exhibition Grounds (IAA) Nutzfahrzeuge ihre Tore. Sie steht in diesem Jahr unter dem Motto: „Zukunft bewegen“. Die im Jahr 1992 aus der Taufe gehobene IAA Nutzfahrzeuge, die damit zum elften Mal in Presse Pressetaxi (nur am 23. und 24. Sept. 2014) Hannover stattfindet, hat sich seit ihrem Bestehen zur bedeutendsten internationalen Leitmesse Fahrstrecke und Haltepunkte der Mobilität, des Transports und der Logistik entwickelt. 24. Okt. 2014, 07.30–19.00 Uhr Wir freuen uns über Ihr Interesse an der lAA 2014, die sich mit rund 2.000 Ausstellern aus ca. 45 Ländern als stabiler Pfeiler dieser Schlüsselbranche erweist. Zahlreiche Innovationen und technologische Highlights der Nutzfahrzeugindustrie werden auf der Messe präsentiert. Wir möchten Ihnen Ihre Arbeit auf dem Messegelände so angenehm wie möglich gestalten und haben Ihnen deshalb mit der vorliegenden Publikation alle wichtigen Informationen über die Aussteller, das Ausstellungs- und Rahmenprogramm sowie die Pressetermine der 65. IAA Nutz- fahrzeuge zusammengestellt. Darüber hinaus finden Sie in dieser Broschüre einen kurzen histo- rischen Abriss über die IAA, die vom Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA) veranstaltet wird. Ihr IAA-Presseausweis gewährt Ihnen am 23. und 24. September 2014 (IAA Pressetage) von 8.00 bis 19.00 Uhr und vom 25. September bis 2. Oktober 2014 von 9.00 bis 18.00 Uhr den Zugang zum Messegelände. Falls angefordert, berechtigt Sie Ihr Parkschein in Verbindung mit dem IAA-Presseausweis zur Benutzung aller am IAA-Messegelände zur Verfügung stehenden Pkw-Parkplätze. Fahrzeuge mit schwerer Fotoausrüstung, Fernseh- und Rundfunküber tragungs- wagen dürfen das Ausstellungsgelände befahren. Alle Fahrzeuginsassen müssen jedoch ihre gültigen IAA-Presseausweise vorzeigen. Bitte beachten Sie, dass die Presse- und Parkplatz- karten nicht übertragbar sind. Für die in Ihrem Interesse stattfindenden Kontrollen bitten wir um Ihr Verständnis. Am Dienstag, 23. September 2014, findet von 8.00 bis 19.00 Uhr im Convention Center (CC) des Messegeländes der „Tag der Pressekonferenzen“ statt. Am Mittwoch, 24. September – dem Pressetag –‚ haben Sie von 8.00 bis 19.00 Uhr die Möglichkeit, das Ausstellungs- gelände und die Messestände noch vor der offiziellen Eröffnung der IAA zu besichtigen. An den Ausstellungstagen ist das Messegelände von 9.00 bis 18.00 Uhr geöffnet. Für Journalisten verkehren an den beiden Pressetagen IAA-Presseshuttles zwischen den Messeeingängen West und Nord und dem Convention Center. Ab 25. September steht Ihnen auf dem gesamten IAA-Ausstellungsgelände ein kostenloser Bustransfer zur Verfügung; die genaue Route finden Sie auf der zweiten Umschlagseite dieser Broschüre. Um Ihnen die Orientierung in den Messehallen zu erleichtern, enthält die Informationsbroschüre auch die Hallenpläne. Das IAA-Pressezentrum befindet sich im Convention Center (CC) des IAA-Messegeländes. Dort stehen Ihnen an den beiden Pressetagen eine bewachte Garderobe und Schließfächer zur Verfügung. Weiterhin finden Sie dort Presse-Arbeitsplätze, die mit Druckern, Fax-Geräten, Internetzugang, Wireless LAN sowie Kopierern ausgestattet sind. Nach den Pressetagen, ab dem 25. Eckehart Rotter Leiter der Abteilung Presse The “Press conference day” will take place from 8.00 h to 19.00 h on Tuesday, 23 Septem ber, in the Convention Center (CC) on the trade show grounds. On Wednesday, 24 September – the Press day – you will have an opportunity to visit the exhibition grounds and the stands from Berlin, im August 2014 8.00 h to 19.00 h before the official opening of the IAA. On the exhibition days the trade show grounds are open from 9.00 h to 18.00 h. On the two press days the IAA press taxi will transport journalists between the West and North Entrances and the Convention Center. Starting on 25 September, a free bus transfer service will be available for you covering the entire IAA exhibition grounds; you will find the precise route on the inside front cover of this brochure. We have also included plans of the exhibition halls to help you find your way around. The IAA Press Center will be located in the Convention Center (CC) on the IAA trade show grounds. During the two press days the Press Center has a cloakroom with an attendant and lockers for you to use. You will also find workstations for members of the press there, which are equipped with printers, fax machines, Internet access, Wireless LAN and photocopiers, so that you can write your reports and articles on-site and send them to your editorial offices.
