Arsenal: the Greatest Goals Free FREE ARSENAL: THE GREATEST GOALS PDF Nick Callow,Arsenal Football Club PLC | 128 pages | 01 Nov 2015 | Carlton Books Ltd | 9781780976655 | English | London, United Kingdom Seven of the best team goals Arsenal have scored this millennium - Planet Football Many Arsenal supporters were excited to hear the news that Thierry Henry has returned to club to train during the MLS offseason. Arsenal's record-holding goal scorer is back in London to train with the team that he loves. Henry has scored a remarkable goals during his eight years at the club. So when looking through a collection of over goals, it is very difficult to narrow down the ten best goals out of the bunch. But anyways, enjoy and reminisce Henry's 10 best goals during his utter dominance of the Premier League while at Arsenal Football Club. We start off our list with Thierry Henry's screamer vs Manchester United in In the yearno one on the planet, including Manchester United, could stop Thierry Henry and Arsenal: The Greatest Goals. So when you give Thierry Henry space, he is going to make you pay. As Manchester United backed off the Arsenal striker, Henry hit a gorgeous long-range shot, which baffled the goalkeeper with its movement and ended up in the back of the net. InArsenal would have a thrilling encounter with Spanish giants Real Madrid in the round of 16 in the Champions League. With the Galacticos, Real Madrid were the favorites entering this match at the Bernabeau. Arsenal: The Greatest Goals would dribble past Arsenal: The Greatest Goals Real Madrid defenders and score the only goal of the contest that would give Arsenal a famous win at the Bernabeau Stadium. It was not just the quality of the goal that made it Arsenal: The Greatest Goals, but also the principle of the goal, as Arsenal became the first English team to defeat Real Madrid at the Bernabeau. Even though this does not count as one of Henry's goals at Arsenal, it was one of the best goals that he has ever scored. This goal would be a perfect example of Henry's skill. He would perfectly handle a long ball, juggle it, then volley it with his weaker foot with an amazing finish. It was an amazing touch of class from the Frenchman. If this goal was during a Arsenal: The Greatest Goals that actually mattered, it would probably be higher up the list. Henry, who was nicknamed the King of Highbury, made sure to make some memorable moments in Highbury's farewell season. This goal against Aston Villa is a perfect example of Thierry Henry's coolness in front Arsenal: The Greatest Goals goal. He would receive the ball from a brilliant back heel from Emmanuel Adebayor and calmly finesse the ball into the back of the net brilliantly. Henry would go onto tie the Arsenal record with Ian Wright for the most goals scored with the club. This goal showed so much of Henry's quality in front of goal. His first touch on the ball was exquisite, and then he was able to curl the ball with the outside of his foot to beat the keeper. Later in that game, Henry would score again to become the greatest scorer in Arsenal history. Defenders would try everything possible to stop Thierry Henry. Sometimes they would be successful, and other times Arsenal: The Greatest Goals would end up being embarrassed at the hands of Henry. That same thing would happen Arsenal: The Greatest Goals as Arsenal were playing Charlton Athletic. The Charlton defender held Henry so he couldn't break free, so Henry improvised and back-heeled the ball through the defender's legs and past the keeper. As Arsenal were trailing in the Arsenal: The Greatest Goals, Henry would come up with a piece of magic, fantastically making a turn to strike the ball as quick as lightning. Henry would provide another work of magic as he baffled the Liverpool defence with this amazing solo goal. Henry Arsenal: The Greatest Goals past one Liverpool defender before humiliating Jamie Carragher as he blasted past him, allowing him to easily put it into the back Arsenal: The Greatest Goals the net. Scoring a great goal is one thing, but scoring a great goal against your rivals is even better. In my opinion, this is the greatest goal scored in the North London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham. This particular goal showed all the skills of Henry and exhibited how no one could stop him when he was on. Everything about this is goal is just perfect. Thierry Henry's goal vs. Manchester United Arsenal: The Greatest Goals not only the best goal he ever scored, but also it is one of five best goals scored in football history. This goal that Henry scored against Manchester United defined his brilliance and dominance during his time at Arsenal. I've never seen a turn and strike like this before. Anyone who plays football would know this is almost an impossible goal to score. The commentary by Andy Gray puts the cherry on the top. Arsenal: The Greatest Goals Henry will always be loved by all Arsenal supporters around the world. Thierry Henry is the best player to ever put on the Arsenal kit, and he has provided many memorable moments during his time at the club. Not only do Arsenal fans miss Thierry Henry, but also all other football supporters around England because no one has ever seen a player quite like Thierry Henry in the Premier League. Five of Granit Xhaka's Best Arsenal Goals - Ranked Not because Arsenal: The Greatest Goals had just signed for the club, oh no, but because Granit Xhaka showed Arsenal what his capabilities were from long range in breathtaking fashion with stunning goal against Hull City. A match that was perhaps more memorable for Theo Walcott netting his th career goal was nevertheless the platform for what would be a… err, back and forth relationship with our Swiss midfielder. Does his screamer in east Yorkshire still reign supreme? That, well, sort of died down a bit when he started hitting each and every one into row Z, but in the early days of his time in north Arsenal: The Greatest Goals he would take up the offer with aplomb. The flight of the ball jinks either way when done correctly, leaving Mignolet to flap at his attempt to save his effort on this occasion. Preferring to aim for the top corner as opposed to forcing the Arsenal: The Greatest Goals to go low, he bamboozled more than just David de Gea with his 12th minute opener. His low drive — using the same aforementioned shooting method — looked like heading just right off the centre of goal. Catching all off guard, the ball swerved away from the Spaniard in the blink of an eye, totally wrong-footing the keeper and nestling into the back of the net. Usually favouring his outstep, this time with a free kick lined up away at Newcastle he opted to switch things up. Four minutes after the restart in a cagey affair, Arsenal won a free kick over 25 yards out of goal. Lucas Torreira stood alongside Xhaka, but did anyone actually expect the Uruguayan to take it? Demonstrating a different skill, Xhaka hit the ball sweetly over the wall with the right measure of power, but struck it so that it managed to dip up and over the wall in time before reaching goal. After losing their first two matches of the season, Arsenal embarked on a seven-game winning run in the Premier League culminating in a trip south of the river Thames. Nobody in their right mind shoots from there. And if you do, you better Arsenal: The Greatest Goals it right for fear of deserved scorn. All of 30 yards out, Xhaka opened his Arsenal account in spectacular fashion, hitting a trademark curling Arsenal: The Greatest Goals into the top left corner. The swerve, the accuracy, the power and the casual as you like celebration all make it what it is. Do you agree with the above or can you make a claim for one of his other goals being his best? Fabinho's team-mate James Milner was also complimentary of the Brazilian's versatility and paid tribute to his spectacular clearance off the line. Ozil's inflammatory statement is understood to have been a reference to his infamous Instagram post last December in which he condemned China's alleged mistreatment of Uighur Muslims in the Xinjiang province, which despite being quickly disowned by Arsenal still had damaging commercial consequences for the club.

RONALDO MOST HATED FOOTBALLER IN THE PREMIERSHIP Submitted by: 10 Yetis PR and Marketing Tuesday, 20 January 2009 A study of over 2500 football fans has found that Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo is the most hated football player in the Barclays Premiership, despite winning Fifa’s World Player of the Year award and having had a successful season to date. A recent survey asked 2,614 UK-based football fans the multiple answer question, “Which players do you dislike the most in the Barclays Premiership?” Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo topped the poll, taking 48% of the votes. Ronaldo has been the standout recipient of world awards this season, being the current holder of the Ballon d'Or and the reigning FIFPro World Player of the Year, PFA and FWA Player of the Year, but his success in the awards has done little for his public standing, with 69% of fans claiming that he is ‘full of himself’, according to the survey commissioned by sports TV site www.Wheresthematch.com. Senegalese Sunderland striker El-Hadji Diouf came second in the poll of most hated footballers, followed by Newcastle United midfielder and England one-cap Joey Barton, best known publicly for his stint in prison for assault. When asked, “What makes a bad player?”, fans were split. ‘Foul play’ was noted as the main reason with 31%, followed closely by ‘arrogance’, with 28%. ‘Diving’ came in at third, with 19%. ‘Off-field behaviour’ was seventh, with 7% of the votes. There was representation in the survey of every Premiership team.

  • Man Utd Destroys City with Owen's Injury Time Goal 10:15, September 21, 2009
Man Utd destroys City with Owen's injury time goal 10:15, September 21, 2009 Manchester City showed a never-say-die attitude in their Sunday's derby by drawing level three times at Old Trafford, but Man United substitute Michael Owen wrecked their hope of snatching one point with a stunning goal in the stoppage time. Togo ace Emmanuel Adebayor's absence due to a three-match ban weakened City's attack, but Carlos Tevez was back to the pitch after resting for two weeks because of a knee injury. The Argentina striker was so aggressive in front of his ex-club that he stole the ball from a hesitating United keeper Ben Foster before assisting Gareth Barry to shot home in the 16th minutes. But it was only an equalizer as Wayne Rooney had put United ahead after two minutes. Being overlooked by United boss Sir Alex Ferguson in the previous two seasons, Tevez was thirsty for the derby after joining City this Summer. But he squandered his best chance of punishing United as he stroke the post in close range on the stroke of half-time, United managed to claimed an early lead again when Darren Fletcher nodded in Ryan Giggs's fine cross four minutes after the break, but Craig Bellamy fired home three minutes later to snuff United joy quickly. The defending champions then surged to attack ceaselessly, but Shay Given disappointed them by making two brilliant saves to Dimitar Berbatov's threatening headers and turned a powerful drive from Giggs over the top. It seemed that Ferguson was quite unsatisfied with the result and he replaced Belgarian Berbatov with Owen on 77 minutes.

FOOTBALL AGENTS IN THE BIGGEST FIVE EUROPEAN FOOTBALL MARKETS AN EMPIRICAL RESEARCH REPORT FEBRUARY 2012 Raffaele Poli, CIES Football Observatory, University of Neuchâtel Giambattista Rossi, João Havelange Scholarship, Birkbeck University (London) With the collaboration of Roger Besson, CIES Football Observatory, University of Neuchâtel Football agent portrayed by the Ivorian woodcarver Bienwélé Coulibaly Executive summary While intermediaries acting in the transfers of footballers have existed since almost the birth of the professional game, the profession of agent was not officially recognised until 1991 when FIFA established the first official licensing system. In November 2011, there were 6,082 licensed agents worldwide: 41% of them were domiciled within countries hosting the big five European leagues: England, Spain, Germany, Italy and France. This research project firstly investigates shares in the representation market of players in the five major European championships. By presenting the results of a survey questionnaire, it analyses the socio-demographic profile of licensed football agents in the above mentioned countries, the business structure of their activity, the different kinds of services provided, and the way in which they are performed from a relational point of view (network approach). The analysis of shares highlights that the big five league players’ representation market is highly concentrated: half of the footballers are managed by 83 football agents or agencies. Our study reveals the existence of closed relational networks that clearly favors the concentration of players under the control of few agents. Footballers are not equally distributed between intermediaries. Conversely, dominant actors exist alongside dominated agents. One fifth of the agents having answered to our questionnaire manage the career of half of the players represented on the whole.
