Ohio's College Credit Plus program is an opportunity for students in grades 7-12 to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking college courses from local colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to promote rigorous academic pursuits and to provide a wide variety of options to college-ready students.

Taking a college course from a public college or university is "free." That means no cost for tuition, books or fees. There are times where you may have to reimburse the district for the cost of your course (if you fail a course, etc.) If you choose to attend a private college or university, you also may have limited costs.

School districts MUST provide counseling services to high school students and their parents/guardians PRIORto participating in the CCPprogram, including risks and consequences of participation.

Students must notify the district prior to April 1st of the preceding academic year to participate
