Connellsville Community Ministries for Connellsville Area School District Pick up: 11:00-1:00: - Connellsville Township Fire Department - Morrell VFD - Paradise Methodist Church - Former Indian Creek Valley Community Center Connellsville Community Center Derry Area School District – Providing delivery services Monday through Friday to: - 1116 Murtha Way from 10:30 a.m. - 10:45 a.m. - Holiday Acres at Scott Court by the playground from 11:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. - Derry Area Community Center from 11:45 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - Dogwood Mobile Home Park on Earl Drive from 12:30 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. o These time frames are estimates and may need adjustment as we begin this delivery. Please be patient with us as we are making every effort to provide for our students. In addition, we will have a drive-thru service at the High School Cafeteria entrance in the school’s rear parking lot. Meals, a lunch for the current day and a breakfast for the next day, will be available beginning Tuesday, March 17, 2020 throughout the entire closure. If you can’t make it to one of the delivery sites or have other specific questions, contact our Food Service Director, Gwen Kozar, at 724- 694-1401 x1442 or x 1476 or via email [email protected]. Please note all the meals are free to any Derry Area School District student and any other person under the age of 18 who lives in the district. You do not have to be on free or reduced lunch to receive a meal. This is open to all. Franklin Regional School District - Available to Free and Reduced Lunch students. Parents should contact their building principal via email. Hempfield Area School District – Has been approved to provide breakfast and lunch to any child up to and including 18 years old. Children do not need to be current Hempfield students. On Monday and Wednesday, enough food will be given for 2 days. On Fridays, enough food will be given for 3 days. Must be in a car to receive food. Monday, March 23 from 11am-1pm. Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at Wendover Middle School, West Hempfield Elementary, and the High School. Greensburg Salem School District – https://www.greensburgsalem.org/apps/news/article/1189422 Starting Wednesday, March 18 from 10am-noon at Hutchinson Elementary and Greensburg Salem Middle School. Greater Latrobe School District – The Food Service Department of the Greater Latrobe School District will be providing free breakfast and lunch to students in our district during our school closure. Grab 'n Go meals will be offered curbside at Latrobe Elementary School in the bus lane from Ligonier Street. This service will begin on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. There will be no access to the building. Jeannette School District – Jeannette City School District will be providing food bags at 5 set locations throughout the city to those students and families who may depend on the school food service program. Food bags will be distributed between 11:00-1:00 M-F this week. More information to come in regards to next week. Teachers and staff members who have volunteered will be at each site. Look for school staff and school/city vehicles. Leechburg Area School District – 1. Breakfast and lunches: We have decided that we will do bagged lunches with breakfast in the bags for the following morning. This meal service will start this Wednesday, March 18 and will last throughout the duration of the closure. Availability is 11am to 1pm Monday through Friday. The following are the requirements to receive a meal: A. Meals are available for anyone between the ages of 0-18. This week it will be Yo-to-Go as the lunch and Pop-tarts for the breakfast. Starting next week, we will be having peanut butter and jelly with the lunch essentials (fruit, milk, etc). No hot meals will be served. B. The child(ren) has to be with an adult when getting the lunch. If a child is not present, a lunch will not be given. C. A staff member will hand it directly to you from your car window outside of the cafeteria entrance. This is the same entrance as kids use every morning. No walk-ups are permitted. D. If you cannot get to the school for lack of transportation, please email [email protected]. Delivery will be made available. Please remember that Fox's Pizza, Coco Coffeehouse, Cicero's Bar and Grill, and Barefoot Bar and Grill are also offering lunches. Ligonier Valley School District – Ligonier Valley School District will be providing bagged breakfasts and lunches for any child under 18 years of age. Children must accompany their parents/guardians to receive the meals. Meals will be available for pickup Monday, March 23rd through Friday, March 27th at the following locations and times: Waterford Fire Hall 10:15 am -- 11:15 am Fairfield Fire Hall 10:30 am – 11:30 am Bolivar Fire Hall 10:45 am – 11:45 am New Florence Fire Hall 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Seward Fire Hall 11:15 am – 12:15 pm If you are interested in picking up a meal, please call 724-238-5696, ext 109, or email [email protected] no later than Friday 3/20/2020, with the number of children that will accompany you and the site pick up location. Monessen City School District – Parents will be able to order meals for pick-up for breakfast and lunch during our school closure for children in Pre-K through Grade 12. We will be prepared to provide a meal for each student signed up beginning, Monday, March 16, 2020, weekdays only, through the entire closure. You only need to sign up once and your child will continue to receive meals each day through the remainder of the closure. Please, no phone calls at this time. Please fill out the form, which will be located on the district's website www.monessenschooldistrict.com or come to the school tomorrow to complete the form. Someone will be located outside the cafeteria doors. Lunch will only be served on Monday, March 16, 2020. Breakfast and lunch will be served every day after that. Meals can be picked up at either the Jr-Sr High School or Donegal Elementary School between 11 am and 1 pm. Lunch and breakfast for the day will be provided on a first come, first serve basis. Parents may accompany their child but the student/child must be present. Please do not pick up meals if you are sick. You will be required to sign-in upon arrival. This service is take-out only. You will not be permitted to stay at the building to eat. Pick up locations: Martin Elementary, Berkey Elementary, Roy A. Hunt Middle School, Arnold Police Station, New Kensington City Hall, Salvation Army (Old Ft. Crawford), St. Joseph’s Hall (Leishman Ave.) 10am-1pm. Monday through Friday during closure starting Tuesday, March 17th. Norwin School District – Not approved to provide meals as an open site. On Friday, March 20th, the District will begin serving a bagged lunch of a Smuckers Uncrustable, cheese stick, MJM snack crackers, milk, fruit, and juice for students enrolled in our free and reduced lunch program. We will be serving from 11am - 1pm from the Norwin High School Auditorium doors (Door No. 6). People will not need to get out of their vehicles in order to retrieve the meals as our food service employees will walk the bagged lunches to the cars.
