Dear Legislators:
As part of the book closing process for fiscal year 2020, I am hereby transmitting two Coronavirus-19 work projects for your information and review. These work projects are being transmitted in advance of the remaining work projects due to the timing of spending these federal grants. The attachment summarizes the specific Coronavirus-19 appropriation year (AY) 2020 line-item appropriations designated as work projects by law (i.e., statutory work projects).
In addition, I am rescinding the following Coronavirus-19 work projects previously transmitted on August 4, 2020. The Child Care Rate Reduction Stipends and the First Responder Hazard Pay Premiums work projects are being retransmitted in this letter. The Teacher Grants work project is funded in fiscal year 2021 with general fund.
