Psalm 146:3 (NLT) “Don’t put your confidence in powerful people; there is no help for you there.” Psalm 146:10 (NLT) “The Lord will reign forever. He will be your God, O Jerusalem, throughout the generations. Praise the Lord!” 2. We Praise God Because He Created Us To Praise Him. Psalm 147:1 (NLT) “Praise the Lord! How good to sing praises to our God! How delightful and how fitting!” Psalm 147:3 (NLT) “He heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds.” Psalm 147:3 (NLT) “He heals the brokenhearted…” 3. We Praise God Because He Deserves Our Praise. Psalm 148:5-13 (NLT) “Let every created thing give praise to the Lord, for he issued his command, and they came into being. 6 He set them in place forever and ever. His decree will never be revoked. 7 Praise the Lord from the earth, you creatures of the ocean depths, 8 fire and hail, snow and clouds, wind and weather that obey him, 9 mountains and all hills, fruit trees and all cedars, 10 wild animals and all livestock, small scurrying animals and birds, 11 kings of the earth and all people, rulers and judges of the earth, 12 young men and young women, old men and children. 13 Let them all praise the name of the Lord. For his name is very great; his glory towers over the earth and heaven!” Luke 19:37-40 (NLT) “When he reached the place where the road started down the Mount of Olives, all of his followers began to shout and sing as they walked along, praising God for all the wonderful miracles they had seen. 38 ‘Blessings on the King who comes in the name of the Lord! Peace in heaven, and glory in highest heaven!’ 39 But some of the Pharisees among the crowd said, ‘Teacher, rebuke your followers for saying things like that!’ 40 He replied, ‘If they kept quiet, the stones along the road would burst into cheers!’” Psalm 149:4 (NLT) “For the Lord delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.” Psalm 150:6 (NLT) “Let everything that breathes sing praises to the Lord! Praise the Lord! ” Worship: Is The Continual Outpouring Of Oneself. • WE WERE MADE TO WORSHIP. Psalm 34:1 (NLT) “I will praise the LORD at all times.
