As 4 players does not make a team, we needed some more team mates. Jake from Temora West Public School was in need of a team, so he played each game with us. The rest of the team was made up of volunteers from a St Anne’s Central School team. For a team that had never played together, they did a fabulous job. All the boys put in a great effort, and improved their skills as the day went on. Unfortunately, they didn’t win any of their games, but they certainly put their all in and should be very proud of their efforts. Lewis was chosen as our Player of the Day for his consistent effort and determination. More photos can be found on our Facebook page.

More details to come

Thank you to our fabulous P&C for all the hours and days and weeks and months that were put into creating this fabulous event. Everything looked beautiful, tasted beautiful and sounded like so many women enjoying themselves, because of your vision and hard work.

It’s a call to action for all Australians to get their hands dirty and give back to the community. Armstrong Toyota donated a $200 voucher to The Old Gum Tree Garden Centre, gloves (which will be very handy for our school gardening program) and shirts (which the kids will be bringing home today). We chose to plant 2 Peace Roses in our Remembrance Garden, to add to the plants dedicated there over the years. We also planted one burgundy standard rose, near the sign at the entrance of our school, purely for the sake of beautifying our school.
