Cooking for Christmas in July, winning the Round Robin, competing in the Spelling Bee and getting to witness the incredible performances at KROP have kept us on our toes! Of course there has been plenty of learning happening in the classroom as well. The students have continued their daily Number Talks which encourages great reasoning, communication and interpersonal skills. It is great to see so many different strategies being used to solve problems! They have been linking these strategies to real life situations such as modifying recipes, budgeting for spending money as well as learning how to make a profit. We have also been very busy finalising our entries to the Weethalle Show and the Carrathool Shire Book Week competitions. Watch this space! Education Week Open Classrooms
