SPORT PROGRAMS All programs are inclusive, open to those with or without a disability.

WHEELCHAIR BASKETBALL

Wheelchair Basketball is offered on Monday nights from 4:00pm-5:00pm, as well as Thursday nights October-March. Wheelchair Basketball takes place at the Kummer Little Recreation Center, located at 333 College St. Program starts September 9th.

GOALBALL

Goalball is offered on Sundays from 4:30pm- 5:30pm at the Kummer Little Recreation Center, located at 333 College St. Goalball is a Paralympic sanctioned sport for individuals who have any level of visual impairment. Program starts September 8th.

WHEELCHAIR

Wheelchair Tennis will be offered during a Fall session that will run August 22nd- September 26th. The program will be Thursdays from 3:30pm-5:00pm at the Roland Bland Park Tennis Courts, located at 401 Center St.

SPECIAL EVENTS AD APTIVE SPORTS ROUNDTABLE

On September 16th from 5:30pm-7:00pm, we will be hosting an Adaptive Sports Roundtable. Our hope for this event is to rally the Bowling Green community around our new program, casting vision for what lies ahead! We encourage all members and organizations in the community interested in playing a role to join us!

BOWLING GREEN INVITATIONAL Bowling Green will be hosting the 2nd Annual Bowling Green Invitational Tournament. The tournament will be September 21st-22nd at MIchael Buchanon Park. The community is encouraged to come experience what we hope will be a staple event for South Central Kentucky for many years to come! KIPVA ADAPTIVE DISC GOLF CLINIC

The Kentucky and Indiana Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America will be partnering with our Adaptive Sports Program and Bowling Green Parks and Recreation to host a two day Adaptive Disc Golf Clinic. The clinic will take place October 5th and 6th at the Lovers Lane Soccer Complex. The clinic will be open to veterans as well as other interested community members. Be sure to join us in learning one of the fastest growing trends in recreation today! "All of us love sports and all of love recreation.
