The silky-skilled 17 year-old playmaker has impressed all with his maturity at senior level this season and has earned him a nomination for the 2011 Pakenham Gazette Young Gun award. Known as ‘Dalts’ around the club, Jackson is a Dandenong Stingrays listed player who is still eligible for the under 18s, but has quickly become a valuable and consistent performer on a wing or on-ball in the Redbacks senior side this year. His development years have been spent with Hampton Park and Narre Warren Junior Football Clubs and his list of achievements during that time are impres- sive. They include an under 14 DDJFL best and fairest award together with four club best and fairest gongs with Hampton Park JFC and two junior premierships, Hampton Park Young Gun one as captain.
