It brings together the best school athletes, creating a unique context for high level sport competitions, cultural exchanges and educational programmes. The best student athletes in the world take part in the ISF Gymnasiade individually as part of a selected team from the respective ISF member. Excel- lence in both sport competitions and educational activities make up the main features of these events. The ISF School Summer Games is organised every 2 years during even-numbered years. The event is open to students up to 18 years old, depending on the sport-specific age requirements.
