PRODUCTION BIOS

Libby Beers (Executive Producer) – Before becoming a producer, Libby Beers had extensive experience as an executive in both the studio and network worlds. For close to nine years Beers was VP of Original Movies at Lifetime where she developed and supervised production of some 40 films. Her projects garnered Golden Globe® and Emmy® nominations and starred some of Hollywood’s most gifts actresses including Diane Keaton, Kathy Bates, Sissy Spacek, Kim Basinger and Debra Winger. Beers was the executive producer on the 2011 Lifetime movie “Bringing Ashley Home,“ which was based on a true story and starred AJ Cook and Jennifer Morrison, who received a Prism award for her portrayal of Ashley. She also developed and supervised the network's first limited series.

Beers came to Lifetime from Universal where she was Vice President, Creative Affairs in the MCA television division from 1991 –1999 and while there developed and oversaw production of movies for USA Network, Showtime and Encore. Prior to that, she worked at Disney Television developing projects for the NBC "Disney Night at The Movies" franchise. Before Beers headed to Disney Television, she worked at NBC as director of print marketing for prime time series before making the move from marketing into programming. For the next five years she was director of Daytime Drama, developing new soaps and formats while overseeing “Days Of Our Lives” and “Santa Barbara.” She then left the network executive ranks to become a writer on the award winning, “Santa Barbara.” Before her move to Los Angeles and NBC, Beers worked in the feature world as a marketing executive for United Artists in New York and then CBS, where she continued her career as an account executive for prime time series.

CHRIS RUDOLPH (Executive Producer) – For over 30 years, Chris Rudolph has been a force in the entertainment industry working in both feature films and TV. Rudolph is currently the production manager on the CBC series “Arctic Air” and was also production manager on numerous other TV series including “Battlestar Gallactica,” “Reaper” and the WB pilot of “Arrow.” Rudolph also served as executive producer on several TV movies including Lifetime’s ”Bringing Ashley Home” and Syfy’s “Beyond Sherwood Forest.” As a line producer he worked on the feature films, “A Girl in Progress” with Eva Mendes, “Afghan Luke,” “A Shine of Rainbows” staring Brigitte Nielsen and Aiden Quinn, “Partition” staring Kristin Kreuk, “The Traveler” with Val Kilmer and “The Barber” starring Malcolm McDowell.

MARK JEAN (Director) – Mark Jean caught the filmmaking bug while attending Western Michigan University. Determined to become a director he packed a U-haul with junk furniture, six plants and a Bolex and headed west. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications & Film at San Diego State University before relocating to Los Angeles where he attended The American Film Institute on full scholarship, receiving a Master’s degree in Directing. Jean won the George Foster Peabody Award for writing and directing a series of interstitials for Fox. He has directed multiple MOW’s, pilots and episodic series and written several screenplays. His first novel, Puddlejumpers, was published by Hyperion Books in 2008. He directed and co-wrote the feature “Homecoming” based on the acclaimed best seller by Cynthia Voigt. The script received a WGA nomination for Best Longform Adaptation and the film, starring , took the Gold Award at the Houston International Film Festival. Recently he directed two indie features, “Early Bird Special,” a dark comedy and “Finn on the Fly,” a family comedy which he also co-wrote and won Best Feature Film at the Sprockets Toronto International Film Festival. Jean wrote “The Dragon Hatcher” for Universal which he also directed. For producers and Jonathan Sanger he co-wrote “Beast of Bataan,” a historical drama. He helmed “Come Dance At My Wedding” for Hallmark Channel and directed the Hallmark Channel Original Movie “Three Weeks, Three Kids” and the Hallmark Movie Channel Original “Duke” based on a true story starring Steven Weber.

BILL WELLS (Writer) After ten years as a creative executive at CBS, Bill Wells began a new career as a writer. To-date, Wells has had nine television movie scripts produced including the Hallmark Channel Original Movie “Freshman Father” starring Annie Potts, “Blackout” with Jane Seymour, “A Crime of Passion” with Tracey Gold, “Race Against Time: The Search for Sarah” starring Patty Duke, “The Cold Heart of a Killer” starring Kate Jackson, “A Promise Kept: The Oksana Baiul Story,” “Exclusive” and “In My Daughter’s Name” and “Diagnosis Murder.”

J.B WHITE (Writer) —J.B. White is a screenwriter/producer of movies and miniseries for television, with over twenty produced longform projects. He works on both original material and adaptations (fiction and non-fiction). Peter Benchley’s “The Beast,” which he adapted for NBC, was the highest-rated, most-watched miniseries on U.S. television the year it premiered. He is accomplished in a variety of genres, including thriller, mystery, romance, drama, comedy, docudrama and horror. He has written pilots for NBC and ABC Family. He is also an experienced songwriter and musician.
