A new calculable Orbital-Model of the Atomic Nucleus based on a Platonic-Solid framework and based on constant Phi by Dipl. Ing. (FH) Harry Harry K. K.Hahn Hahn / Germany ------------------------------ 12. December 2020 Abstract : Crystallography indicates that the structure of the atomic nucleus must follow a crystal -like order. Quasicrystals and Atomic Clusters with a precise Icosahedral - and Dodecahedral structure indi cate that the five Platonic Solids are the theoretical framework behind the design of the atomic nucleus. With my study I advance the hypothesis that the reference for the shell -structure of the atomic nucleus are the Platonic Solids. In my new model of the atomic nucleus I consider the central space diagonals of the Platonic Solids as the long axes of Proton - or Neutron Orbitals, which are similar to electron orbitals. Ten such Proton- or Neutron Orbitals form a complete dodecahedral orbital-stru cture (shell), which is the shell -type with the maximum number of protons or neutrons. An atomic nucleus therefore mainly consists of dodecahedral shaped shells. But stable Icosahedral- and Hexagonal-(cubic) shells also appear in certain elements. Consta nt PhI which directly appears in the geometry of the Dodecahedron and Icosahedron seems to be the fundamental constant that defines the structure of the atomic nucleus and the structure of the wave systems (orbitals) which form the atomic nucelus. Albert Einstein wrote in a letter that the true constants of an Universal Theory must be mathematical constants like Pi (π) or e. My mathematical discovery described in chapter 5 shows that all irrational square roots of the natural numbers and even constant Pi (π) can be expressed with algebraic terms that only contain constant Phi (ϕ) and 1 Therefore it is logical to assume that constant Phi, which also defines the structure of the Platonic Solids must be the fundamental constant that defines the structure of the atomic nucleus. -

This is the isoperimetric problem in discrete geometry which is addressed in this study. The solution of this problem represents the closest approximation of the sphere, i.e., the roundest polyhedra. A new numerical optimization method developed previously by the authors has been applied to optimize polyhedra to best approximate a sphere if tetrahedral, octahedral, or icosahedral symmetry constraints are applied. In addition to evidence provided for various cases of face numbers, potentially optimal polyhedra are also shown for n up to 132. Keywords: polyhedra; isoperimetric problem; point group symmetry 1. Introduction The so-called isoperimetric problem in mathematics is concerned with the determination of the shape of spatial (or planar) objects which have the largest possible volume (or area) enclosed with given surface area (or circumference). The isoperimetric problem for polyhedra can be reflected in a question as follows: What polyhedron maximizes the volume if the surface area and the number of faces n are given? The problem can be quantified by the so-called Steinitz number [1] S = A3/V2, a dimensionless quantity in terms of the surface area A and volume V of the polyhedron, such that solutions of the isoperimetric problem minimize S. -

University of Technology, Gorakhpur-273010 (UP), India March, 2015 Introduction: A great rhombicuboctahedron is an Archimedean solid which has 12 congruent square faces, 8 congruent regular hexagonal faces & 6 congruent regular octagonal faces each having equal edge length. It has 72 edges & 48 vertices lying on a spherical surface with a certain radius. It is created/generated by expanding a truncated cube having 8 equilateral triangular faces & 6 regular octagonal faces. Thus by the expansion, each of 12 originally truncated edges changes into a square face, each of 8 triangular faces of the original solid changes into a regular hexagonal face & 6 regular octagonal faces of original solid remain unchanged i.e. octagonal faces are shifted radially. Thus a solid with 12 squares, 8 hexagonal & 6 octagonal faces, is obtained which is called great rhombicuboctahedron which is an Archimedean solid. The paper proposes a new technology of creating panoramic video with a 360-degree view based on virtual environment projection on regular do- decahedron. The key idea consists in constructing of inner dodecahedron surface (observed by the viewer) composed of virtual environment snapshots obtained by twelve identical virtual cameras. A method to calculate such cameras’ projec- tion and orientation parameters based on “golden rectangles” geometry as well as a method to calculate snapshots position around the observer ensuring synthe- sis of continuous 360-panorama are developed. The technology and the methods were implemented in software complex and tested on the task of virtual observing the Earth from space. The triangle, square, rectangle, tetragon, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, octagon, nonagon, dodecagon, parallelogram, rhombus, rhomboid, trapezium or trapezoidal, kite and dart are the members of the irregular polygon family. A polygon is a two dimensional example of the more general prototype in any number of dimensions. However the properties are varied from one to another. The author has attempted to develop two new theorems for the property of irregular polygon for a point anywhere inside of the polygon with necessary illustrations, appropriate examples and derivation of equations for better understanding. Key Words: Irregular Polygon, Triangle, Right-angled triangle, Perpendicular and Vertex INTRODUCTION Polygon (Weisstein, 2003) is a closed two dimensional figure formed by connecting three or more straight line segments, where each line segment end connects to only one end of two other line segments. Polygon is one of the most all-encompassing shapes in two- dimensional geometry. The sum of the interior angles is equal to 180 degree multiplied by number of sides minus two. The sum of the exterior angles is equal to 360 degree. From the simple triangle up through square, rectangle, tetragon, pentagon, hexagon, heptagon, octagon, nonagon, dodecagon (Weisstein, 2003,) and beyond is called n-gon. -

R.s., N.L.) number of diffaent kinds of planes permitted by the law of rational indices to appear as faces on a crystal is practically unlimited. The number of "forms " actually observed, however, is limited and there is a decided preference for a few amongst them. This is one of the most striking facts of geometric crystallography and its explanation is obviously of importance. Pierre Curie (1885) stressed the role played by the surface energy of the faces in determining the " forms " of the crystal. According to him, the different faces of a crystal have different surface energies and the form of the crystal as a whole is determined by the condition that the total surface energy of the crystal should be a minimum. According to W. Gibbs (1877), on the other hand, it is the velocity of growth in different directions which is the determining factor, while the surface energy of the crystal plays a subordi- nate role and is only effective in the case of crystals of submicroscopic size, We have little direct knowledge as to how diamond is actually formed in nature. It is necessary, therefore, to rely upon the indications furnished by the observed forms of the crystals. One of the most remarkable facts about diamond is the curvature of the faces which is a very common and marked feature. This is particularly noticeable in the case of the diamonds found in the State of Panna in Central India. -

Plates. 1. ~NTRODUCTORY STATEMENT THE" crystallography of diamond presents problems of peculiar interest and difficulty. The material as found is usually in the form of complete crystals bounded on all sides by their natural faces, but strangely enough, these faces generally exhibit a marked curvature. The diamonds found in the State of Panna in Central India, for example, are invariably of this kind. Other diamondsJas for example a group of specimens recently acquired for our studies ffom Hyderabad (Deccan)--show both plane and curved faces in combination. Even those diamonds which at first sight seem to resemble the standard forms of geometric crystallography, such as the rhombic dodeca- hedron or the octahedron, are found on scrutiny to exhibit features which preclude such an identification. This is the case, for example, witb. the South African diamonds presented to us for the purpose of these studŸ by the De Beers Mining Corporation of Kimberley. From these facts it is evident that the crystallography of diamond stands in a class by itself apart from that of other substances and needs to be approached from a distinctive stand- point. -

Spectral Realizations of Graphs
SPECTRAL REALIZATIONS OF GRAPHS B. D. S. \DON" MCCONNELL 1. Introduction 2 The boundary of the regular hexagon in R and the vertex-and-edge skeleton of the regular tetrahe- 3 dron in R , as geometric realizations of the combinatorial 6-cycle and complete graph on 4 vertices, exhibit a significant property: Each automorphism of the graph induces a \rigid" isometry of the figure. We call such a figure harmonious.1 Figure 1. A pair of harmonious graph realizations (assuming the latter in 3D). Harmonious realizations can have considerable value as aids to the intuitive understanding of the graph's structure, but such realizations are generally elusive. This note explains and explores a proposition that provides a straightforward way to generate an entire family of harmonious realizations of any graph: A matrix whose rows form an orthogonal basis of an eigenspace of a graph's adjacency matrix has columns that serve as coordinate vectors of the vertices of an harmonious realization of the graph. This is a (projection of a) spectral realization. The hundreds of diagrams in Section 42 illustrate that spectral realizations of graphs with a high degree of symmetry can have great visual appeal. Or, not: they may exist in arbitrarily-high- dimensional spaces, or they may appear as an uninspiring jumble of points in one-dimensional space. In most cases, they collapse vertices and even edges into single points, and are therefore only very rarely faithful. Nevertheless, spectral realizations can often provide useful starting points for visualization efforts. (A basic Mathematica recipe for computing (projected) spectral realizations appears at the end of Section 3.) Not every harmonious realization of a graph is spectral. -

They can either result from a stationary Gaussian process, such as continuous turbulence, or from a random process, such as buffet. Buffet phenomena are especially relevant for fighters flying in the transonic regime at high angles of attack or when the turbulent, separated air flow induces fluctuating pressures on structures like wing surfaces, horizontal tail planes, vertical tail planes, airbrakes, flaps or landing gear doors. In this paper a method is presented for predicting n-dimensional combined loads in the presence of massively separated flows. This method can be used both early in the design process, when only numerical data are available, and later, when test data measurements have been performed. Moreover, the two-dimensional load envelope for combined load cases and its discretization, which are well documented in the literature, are generalized to n dimensions, n ≥ 3. 1 INTRODUCTION The main objectives of this paper are: 1. To derive a method for predicting multivariate loads (but also displacements, velocities and accelerations in terms of auto- and cross-power spectra, [1, pp. 319-320]) for aircraft, or parts of them, subjected to a random excitation.
