Unfiltered responses

Bubbles on the tennis courts for winter tennis. Mountain bike park at the downhill area in the summer.

more snowmaking to assure my enjoyment of TD's winter amenities.

Not really, just wish there was more room at the beach during busy weeks... but probably not much you can do without actually expanding the beach area!!!

Permanent banquet facility

Potentially a great hot tub area for winter use.

Reasonably priced restaurant

Improvements to rec center, specifically the gym/workout room, update workout equipment, I know major project in works so that is great.

More events at the Downhill Ski Lodge and at Alder Creek, especially for adults. There are a lot of kid-oriented events, but how about live music, wine tastings, etc. for adults?

Indoor bocce, pickle bal, l possibly or indoor team sport

More treadmills!!! Ping pong table available year round - teens love it - should not be next to massage room - it’s a noisy game - so tired of kids not allowed to use it in winter.

Indoor tennis for the winter months

Doubtful this would be practical, but an ice rink would be great. summer activities on the ski Slope might be fun too...sled/ski?

1) open house and tours of updated Trout Creek Rec Center 2) short and specific "pop up" info booth in parking lots to update owners about new developments (leash regs, speed limits, etc.

Update equipment at the current facilities

Really enjoyed the music offering at Adventure Center last year. Bring it back.

Some fields for Soccer or football or general running around.

more shuttle services

Dog parks for off leash fun

paddle tennis (east coast), ice skating, curling!, year round dining/lodge at top of ski hill

Shuttle running continuously around Northwoods loop and into downtown and back. Maybe June through October would be sufficient, with increased frequency in July and August.

It all depends on the cost vs. benefits. Amenities are nice, but containing cost is important! I think there is a good potential for more table tennis activities. It just needs a bit of organization

I'd like to see a hockey/ice skating rink.

Open grass field for soccer/play Enhanced food and drink options at Trout Creek.

Is there a way to enclose the smaller lap pool at the Recreation Center during the winter?

Expansion of terrain.

Keep going on the trails expansion. We are loving it! skating rink

Better internet and cell coverage Per diem work spaces + coffee cafe Bus shuttle service from Trout Creek to Northstar Bus shuttle service to town on weekend days

Indoor . Skating.

Dog park area

Our family loves the trails, biking, horse and eating facilities. More investment in these areas please.

Larger beach club seating capacity. More concerts in summer like they do at commons beach in Tahoe City

Shuttle all year around or carpool system, Pool facility esthetics, more trails and groomed/plowed access between building to cross the development by foot or snow shoe

Improve Internet access, in particular at top of Skislope (where my house is located) - there are no broadband services providers offering service up there (Suddenlink the cable company doesn't)

Suggest buses that can be picked up at a central location that will take skiers to various ski resorts.

I'd like to see a fenced dog park with poop bags and garbage can provided.

Spa with facials; physical activities for seniors; activities with dogs improve the gym

Add more Bocce ball courts

New ski lodge! Better facilities/rooms for weekly summer camps. Do not privitize all the amenities. snow mobiling

Grade along the top and along the mile run, so more of the hill is usable. It is so flat that it’s hard to explore.

Dog Park

Spa facility

I support improvements to the downhill ski facility. I also support increasing guest fees for overcrowded summer amenities such as the beach club/marina and Trout Creek pool.

Indoor basketball court, bowling lane(s), and a (good) shuffleboard table at Pizza on the Hill

Hiking/exercise paths along golf course route, jet ski rental at boat dock, more shuttles/transportation options.

Better boating facilities at Donner Lake

More camps for older kids

Sorry I can't say, but I'm a big amenity user and a full-timer, so I'm sure I'd be happy and would use any new fun thing added. What's on your list?

Add to Pickleball courts and organized pickleball play

Coffee bar with light snacks and Wi-Fi at the beach 12 months of the year

Improved member services enforcement of CC&R and HOA regulations.

Ice skating

Snowmaking on Eagle Peak. More live web cams for winter sports.

Better fitness center - reserved lockers, steam room, spa, sauna, towel service, laundry service, improved weights and ellipticals.

Remodel trout creek

Ski lodge building develop ski hill for lift assisted mountain biking in summer, add lights for night skiing in winter and add more terrain park features, develop XC map with skin track routes for backcountry skiing

Keep building trails and maintaining trails! Multi use, but primarily mtn biking

TDA should use it's clout to improve cell / cable service and pricing-- Suddenlink has too much unfettered power in the community.

Pickle ball. More mountain biking trails. S immersion concerts like those at Tahoe commons, more seating at beach club,

Bike park/ pump track good social activities for older teens and families to meet similar

Initiate the proposed Trout Creek improvements

More trails, more marina parking perhaps an ice skating rink if possible

Extend mountain bike/XC ski trails. Expand deli. Buy frog lake. Summer brew pub w/ outdoor games for all.

Better split of classes at trout creek. m/w has great classes but t/th just zumba, yoga... I am sure great but appeals to a limited group. would love drinks and food available at tc a new improved down hill ski center - easier to use and access

Lap pool for adults

Mountain biking trails developed on ski hill

More space in the fitness area of trout creek- especially the weights section.

The Northwoods Clubhouse needs a reboot. Maybe emulate Martis Camp's Family Barn? Create a space where families will want to spend the day. Kids can roam with large grassy area for play; picnics. indoor pickleball courts

Community Garden

Re-grade Mile Run at the downhill resort. It is too flat in several sections. Very hard to enjoy.

Day care at more amenities

OHV trail more single track mt biking trails

Larger beach

Sports field for multi use (soccer, football, ultimate, etc)

More Scheduled weekend day camps or short activities for kids.

Create smaller boundaries for x-country ski area so we can snow shoe from Glacier Way to Carpenter Valley without being harassed by ski patrol or be asked to pay fee for no services.

Weight room

More mountain bike trails

Climbing gym, aerial studio (could be the same space, needs high ceilings), improved ski facilities

Indoor basketball courts

I would like to see summer use of the TD Ski Resort.

Check with GOV for list of prioritized projects

Amazon Locker service

Make amenities/facilities more accessible to part time property owners

Given the impact of climate change that we are experiencing, it is time to consider a limited snowmaking system for TDXC.

Beautiful ski lodge, additional lifts, member lockers

Fly fishing lake like Sawmill at Northstar.

Curling

How about a summer dance on the deck at the ski area?

More activites that are held on Saturdays. Too many are held on Sundays which excludes part time members

Ice skating

Archery for adults

Expansion of trout creek and more pools Some sort of structure in the Euer Valley. Skiers could get snacks and use a rest room in winter, and hikers and mountain bikers and equestrians could enjoy the same in summer.

Family bowling alley (indoor - private) Outdoor movie theater (summer/fall)

A few more summer (or winter) community events, like the 4th of July concerts

It would be great to have a doggy day care facility and a dog park.

Like to see the rec center enhanced/expanded. More road biking trails. More mtn biking trails. More dog friendly off leash areas.

Indoor swimming pool. Expand downhill skiing opportunities. Better connectivity with bike trails going into town. Provide opportunities to ride bikes into town without going on heavily traveled roads replacement for the Cook House in the XC ski area, more parking at Glacier Way trailhead and new parking at other trailheads

More year round trails maintained to walk to facilities without going on roads. Really like the new trail to old town Truckee. climbing wall, indoor basketball court. I realize the basketball court is a pipe dream but it would be very cool even though I doubt it makes financial sense.

An adult only pool

Separate the bike trails from the hiking trails. It is dangerous for hikers to have mountain bikes zooming along the trails especially for families with children.

1. Broader backcountry ski access to TDXC, 2. Expanded summer trail network linking neighborhood and Euer valley.

Racquetball courts Expand downhill ski area

Ice skating rink

Please offer room rentals in the clubhouse for gatherings. We were denied to have my sons 6th birthday party. They would only allow a full catered formal event. VERY Disappointed as a member.

Bigger fitness center (yeah) and improved signage on the hiking trails

We need another large family pool with attached lap pool. I think building this facility would be perfect for the Alder Creek Adventure Center.

Perhaps an interactive pool area with fountains and fun water facilities for children. Also a ropes course in TD would be great!

Kid safe bike trails next to roads (i.e. for bike-based transportation from Point A to Point B, not pure exercise out in the woods)

Indoor pool with play area for kids Faster quad chair at downhill area Expanded downhill area

More educational programs for adults, specifically, horseback riding for adults

Would be a great addition to have a /ropes course as another public amenity for homeowners to enjoy and to bring in revenue. Would be a great way to explore remodel of the clubhouse-looks the same as it did 40 years ago

A "walk-through" archery range located at the Alder Creek Adventure Center.

Book clubs or Game Nights for full or mostly full time residents. It's very hard to get to know people.

More snowshoe trails that are dog friendly. more mtn bike trails and greater trail access to the newly acquired property. keep expanding single track trail system

Additional Parking at Northwoods Clubhouse. climbing wall at rec center

Trout Creek needs enlargement and the Downhill ski lodge should be replaced.

Rock climbing gym

Improve the weight and exercise room with additional space and equipment

Expand trout creek as planned. I'm in Trout Creek 3 times per week and often trip over the lifecycles when I attend a popular class. Expand parking at the cross country facility to match the populari some outdoor summer activities for the children 3-12 years

Daycare / kids activities outside of just Summer months (weekends throughout the year would be great). climbing wall facility

Activity Center/Game Rooms A longshot dream, but it could be amazing to add great skiing with 2 new chairs (up to Hawk's Peak and from Euer Valley). permanent banquet wedding event center

Member only pool.

Dog Park, with the increasing pressure and discussion about limiting off leash, a dog park even in the summer up by Alder Creak would be really helpful. OR anywhere else we have room

Led hiking tour of the lands recently purchased

Limit use of marina to OWNERS during summer holidays. Ban the huge cabanas at the marina. Overall reduce number of people allowed at marina and pool s during weekends and holidays. Preference owners

Ice skating on tennis courts curling or ice rink

Keep the equestrian center - boarding / weekend boarding, kids camps & lessons, trail rides, pony rides, trail access. :)

Outdoor Ice skating rink!

More room for equipment at Trout Creek. (I know it is in the works). More stretching space. Improvements to the golf course to make it more friendly to Senior players. Reservation for bocci ball.

Water arrobics

Tahoe Donner made a great effort when there was zero snow but I think they could expand family activities since there is nothing to do when there is no snow

I would like a parking lot/Bus Stop with Shuttle service (bike rack on shuttle) to and from the Beach and other TD Facilities in Summer. In Winter Service shuttle to/from Squaw/Sugar bowl.

Better maintenance of nature loop trail, more weeks with bus service, expanded gym equipment more dining, pubs

More Tween & Teen Activities, A more advanced hill for older kids, Longer Witbit course in summer for older kids.

What impacts our usage and visits the most are the crowds. Id prefer less marketing to folks outside of TD members. The rate increase on guest passes was a good first step.

Expand the sand/beach area and improve food/cafe options at the Beach Club Marina. Add more mountain bike/hiking trails. Make the Alder Cr parties more fun! It's such a great spot, parties feel 50%

Dog friendly ski trails

Move forward on the Trout Ck Rec Ctr remodel & expansion. Move forward!

Trail from Swiss loop area to the nature trail and trail to the Club Houses - make TD more walkable

25m or 25y competition quality 6-8 lane lap pool... no flat walls, fast and deep with starting blocks and digital competition clock visible on the side of the pool so you can see it while swimming.

Kids mountain biking camp. ice skating

Basketball court

Maintain and improve existing facilities to bring them up to date and enlarge where demand is needed. continue to expand and enhance the multi-use trail system. Especially for mountain biking and hiking

Expanced parking and recreation/beach area at the marina.

Community dinners / balls for adults to get out and entertain with each other. Special wine dinners shuttles into Truckee shuttle service to beach, state park, and old downtown. More concerts on the green.

Expanded pool facilities and expanded beach area so they are both less crowded during the summer.

Better beach area at the marina.

Improve Tahoe Donner ski area

New ski lodge and a dog park.

Don't need more activities - need more rollers and therabands at Trout Creek

Ice rink More indoor amenities- kids play areas, pool tables

Expand the downhill ski area

More concerts/music events year round. Even if inside.

More clubs using the TD facilities at Northwoods and Trout creek

New downhill ski lodge.

Activities for middle-school aged children and/or families (rock wall climbing, ping pong, etc)

Biathalon range Frisbee golf Single sex sauna, steam Better massage facilities Bocce league Older kid mtn biking clinics Ladies mtn biking, x-c ski, & hiking outings new lift small chair ski hill

Improve pool area to be more social family friendly (e.g. Old Greenwood)

No new buildings, but potentially new trails, if done in environmentally sensitive. way. Low impact activities, such as stargazing, that focus on the natural environment and kids are welcome.

Better availability of bike rentals. Bulk discounts for rentals (e.g. SUPS, bikes etc -- would be nice to be able to get a 10-use pass for example).

Expansion of fitness center/workout facilities

UPGRADE AND EXPAND THE FITNESS FACILITY AT TROUT CREEK more donner lake capability/beach land use etc. I know it was shot down... but we should keep trying.

I would like to see more single-track mountain biking trails built.

Trout creek trail head access off of Zurich place on existing TD Easement to alleviate trespassing

A shower area for families. Also nongender bathrooms.

Adventure Center restaurant needs consistent open times, reminding staff they are their for members, not just a job at their convenience. Better menu at The Lodge, plus decent options for vegetarians

More mtb trails

Ropes and tree course

Water park for kids

Keep improving the Equestrian Center to make it more accessible and stand out as its own amenity. Get the summer trail signs finished and installed.

Would love drink & dinner options at ACAC past 5pm or 7pm

There should be a better bar and food at the big food

9 hole putting course.

Here's a far out thought. I wish the Clubhouse was more like Olympic Village Inn at Squaw. Fun grounds for kids, hot tubs, BBQ. And I'd have curling now that it's popular after the Winter Olympics! ice skating

More mountain bike trails.

Longer opening times at the adventure center.

Seasonal...Mid June,July, August...daily shuttle 2 busses...Northwoods loop to amenities and beach club. December to end of ski season...weekends and holidays only....Northwoods amenities.

1.) Increased athletic group activities (group hikes, run, races, etc) with social component; 2.) Plan for addition to or expansion of Trout Creek for future growth coffee shop Better markings on Bike Trails in the newly acquired land spaces. (Euer Valley +)

Please do not add more facilities to the Tahoe Donner amenities until there is a resolution of the private vs public, and an additional increase in amenitiy fees to reduce overcrowding in summer.

I would like to see an indoor tennis court and squash court.

Continue to create new mountain bike single track. Given the fairly significant population of motorized (OHV) users in TD, a couple of moto legal trails to access Prosser without needing a plate woul

A Frisbee golf course

Rebuild the ski lodge but make it a year round facility. There are many options for summertime activities. Final approval must be voted on by the property owners.

Even more hiking (and biking) trails. I don't think we need more buildings or large scale capital improvements. The hiking, biking, and cross country trails are the best amenity.

More seating at the beach

Indoor gymn (for basketball, volleyball)

Would still like to have the overhead power, CATV and phone put underground. Not only for aestheticism, but for the safety in preventing fires. a studio at Trout Creek specifically for mat work, stretching, core, etc. not with weights and other equipement.

Add a new chair lift to the backside of the downhill ski resort and snow making for the entire moutain

Update the ski hill lodge

How about having salt water pools instead of chlorine? And more activities for teens to get involved socially? I see mostly adults and children. only if they do not impact budget and drive up dues

Indoor play area for little kids

Jet ski rental, indoor basketball court

TD shooters club

More events such as live music, movies or presentations and speakers at Alder Creek lodge

Indoor pool, cover the pools in the winter time with a bubble.

Either a larger Trout Creek fitness facility or another fitness facility at an existing amenity.

Continue build-out of trail system.

Expanded gym. More room; more modern equipment ability to pay for guests at the rec center

Review the safety of allowing motor boat launching at the Marina. Improvements have been made, but there is an excellent public launch ramp at the West End. I am a boat owner, but use kayaks here.

More , music, talks and presentations at Alder Creek.

Phase 4 Equestrian - round pen

Ice/ rink; climbing wall; swingset for bigger kids at Clubhouse playground. Let people use the golf course paths when the course isn’t open. Or just change the golf course to open space

Please!! Do something with the downhill ski lodge. It is so crowded on weekends that you can’t find a place to sit out of the weather, and wait in long lines for food. It is old and rundown.

Update Trout Creek and downhill lodge.

Include Tahoe Donner Clubs as amenities.

Nore interested in having amenities financial sound, stop loosing money, reduce HOA fees

Floor excursive work out room at the GYM ice skating rink

Ropes course, zip lines, , that is coupled with archery activities etc.

This is not a "new" facility, but my family and I love the trails and the recent addition of more trails and more TD lands for both winter and summer recreation.

Return to historical open access to the Drifter ridge with Avalanche danger at Moderate or less.

Climbing wall. Ice rink. Improved playground at clubhouse.

Q5 Any other comments or suggestions about Tahoe Donner amenities or possible improvements? (432 responses by residency)

like feepark dog great tdarea club golf creek pool amenity go year bikekeep new summer course ski trail

Unfiltered responses

Improvements to and better maintenance for the golf course and an upgrade to the entire downhill ski facility (lifts and buildings) are very important to me. The survey forced me to pick only one amenity preference - a ranking would have been preferable.

Possibly more yoga classes at early morning times!

Great amenities but they are over crowded and lack parking at beach club and club house

nope

We need to improve the golf course to keep pace with the other resort courses in the Truckee community

in general, keep spending $s to invest in TD future.

upgrade ski hill/lodge to the standard of our other amenities

Would love to see Beach Club expanded. It has become overcrowded the past couple of years to the point where it is no longer enjoyable. Other option to consider is to limit to members and a limited # of guests accompanying those members and not open up to short term vacation renters.

We should focus on improving and maintaining our current amenities first. People bought in because they are here and knowing they are here (so there should have been the expectation to support and maintain them). Continue to look at new opportunities for amenities that would improve our community.

No additional amenities are needed.

Winter shuttle to downtown Thursday-Sunday. Parking is a nightmare. Similar to Trucker Thursday. Maybe every 30 minutes, 5-10

Add snowmaking to downhill and cross country areas.

Increase parking area at Marina/Beach at Donner Lake

We need to keep up our amenities - not IMPROVE OR ADD NEW. This is a very slanted survey!!

Need to expand Trout Creek and tear down and rebuild downhill ski lodge

The committee reviewing amenities for STR seems to be dominated by grumpy full time residents who want to eliminate short term rentals. Increasing the amenities price for guests to $12 (e.g. almost $50 for a family of four to visit) feels high -- in a week, a visiting family will have paid more than the yearly resident rec fee. Tahoe Donner was considered an affordable and fun place for families to vacation growing up (when we did not own a place there) -- I'd like to keep it this way.

Solve poop problem in hot tubs and pools. Happens way too often that tons of people can’t use them because of poop accident. Age limit would be great. Poopers can go in kiddie pool

I think the amenities offered currently are great and would like to see them maintained to the highest level.

Keep hiring good people. Staff is great.

Events for adults-only would be great. I'd like to see the lake area improved - we've been going to Prosser instead because it's far less crowded. A lot of amenities seem geared toward kids, and are overcrowded. Also, please DO SOMETHING about the issue of dogs being off-leash in the community. Between the poop issues and the over-friendly dogs, it's becoming a nightmare.

I would like to see the ski lodge rebuilt. It has ran its course and life expectancy and we just need to try and design something that also offers space for summer activities as well. Less bickering and more inclusion! We love Tahoe Donner!

Improved ski lodge...but don’t get ridiculous on $ Limiting or more $ for guests at fitness center and beach club to try to lessen crowds..higher weekend rates for guests maybe? don't get rid of golf. improve the horseshoe pit area, try a modified pickleball court at Trout Creek try renting Hobie Mirage (kayaks with pedal vs. oars) THANK YOU TD Management...you deserve a Board that stands with you and recognizes your professionalism.

I think this is already in the works but a multi-purpose room at the rec center. The poor daycare gets run over on busy evenings at the gym.

So much space and money used for golf. Would be nice if it was more open to non golfers

We come to the mountains to explore the backcountry skiing, hiking and biking that the Sierra offer. We do not need to be babysat, entertained etc by TD. We are all familiar with helicopter parents and that is what management feels like to us.

Containing cost. charge non TD people more. The increment isn't huge right now. Guests should pay an intermediate fee. Homeowners lowest rate. more than just a couple of dollars difference in most cases.

Bring Trout Creek Rec Center into compliance as soon as possible. Equipment over-crowding and inappropriate cross-utilization of spaces is unsafe.

Better marked street biking routes. Is there a map of bike routes throughout Tahoe Donner and Truckee? I see route signs on the roads, but I haven't been able to find a map of the whole network.

Good job, just be careful of amenity creep. Meaning if everywhere one turns there is a new aspect or a new offering , if this is not always to revenue positive in the grand budget consider that part. But yes, like the offerings on a wide scale that we have. Thanks

Very excited about new downhill ski amenities. Something on par w.recently renovated Alder Creek Lodge would be great!

The Amenities are at the heart of Tahoe Donner and we need to be fiscally prudent while upgrading and maintaining these amenities

I love the XC center, Trout Creek Gym, and the summer trails. You all do a fantastic job keeping these amenities updated and beautiful. I also love, love, love that the trails, xc center, etc are open to the public. I have no interest in being an exclusive resort community. Thanks for keeping TD family friendly & FUN!

Personally, I think the golf course is a waste of money. I do wish camps and things for kids were affordable for those of us who live and work here full time. We can't afford them, they are priced for rich Bay Area folks. We do love the ski for free for 6 an under. The website needs improvement. It is missing key information and I have to call member services to figure things out...

I think the amenities should be primarily focused on serving the Tahoe Donner community. Some of the amenities seem to be more profit oriented and are designed to meet the needs of the general public. That's ok, but should be a secondary concern after addressing the needs of the TD community. workout classes / yoga room needs a spruce up

The plumbing at the Trout Creek Recreation Center is poor. Showers and shower controls in both locker rooms need replacement/repair. Stream room fixtures have failed in first year of use. I question the quality of the parts and their sourcing/selection by designer/contractors - fixtures seem not appropriate for use outside a residential context. The sink bank in the gym-side locker room always seems faulty and yields poor performance - low flow, inconsistent water temperature, and no means to control water temperature. Lastly, water pressure/flow seems to be too low. I think before considering new construction, existing functionality/performance needs to improve. Fix what you got - then plan better for the future.

Some of the food has taken an odd turn. The prices have gone up and the quality has gone down.

A better way to allocate poolside and beachside lounges, particularly on the holiday weekends. People come early in the morning and put their stuff on chaises to "save" them, leave for hours and there's no facilities for those families and people are there while half the lounges are "saved" by absentees. Anyway to figure out a system that is more fair?

Love TD, wish I could spend more time there (better Internet would help me do that!)

I don’t think the 50% increase to guests without members is fair. I would rather see a more modest increase, like $10 for all guests.

Do not want to pay money for underground wiring Also stricter enforcement of renters noise and flood lights on late at night

Love the Trout Creek center.

Like to see more equestrian choices.

Over all great amenities!

SUP storage at the lake

It would be great to have a golf course trail /path groomed we can use during the golf off season for snow seeing or just walking. Northwood bike path or trail on the side all the way around to promote outdoor activities.

We are looking forward to the upgraded gym

What happened to the Marina/Beach upgrade? It disappeared after being rejected by the city and turned into snow blowers and a new valley? improve the gym HOA Dues are too expensive! The amenities are fine. I hope this survey isn't an ruse as justification to charge more HOA Dues.

We'd like to see better food options at the Beach Club.. At the beach club, fresh, healthy options would be great for lunch and we can envision an upper-scale dinner option by the lake with an updated seating area. It's beautiful location and the outdoor seating / dining opportunity isn't being utilized. I believe that the golf course under-charges for nonmembers, resulting in over-crowding and making it difficult to get tee times during prime-time. I'd like to see non-member rates go way up, traffic on the course go down and lower greens-fees for members. TD has one of the top courses in Tahoe, IMO, and we shouldn't let anyone just walk on the course - particularly if they are crowding out members and driving up our costs.. In general, we think the amenities are excellent and represent good value to homeowners. However, I believe placing greater restrictions on use by non-members (not guests of members) will improve the experience (less crowds) for homeowners.

Upgrade lodges and restaurants; offer apres' and teas; guided beginning trail hikes; mountain bike trails; dog play area

Would like to see new Downhill Ski Area facilities.

I think the existing amenities are perfect. You don't come to TD if you want Disneyland.

They're great as is. We really enjoy visiting the Lodge (bar only) - restaurant is a little out of our price range.

Improve the tennis center and downhill. It’s embarrassing.

I'd rather see a lower cost than more amenities

Improve the quality of food at Pizza on the Hill

Improved maintenance of the golf course and golf practice range. Love having the pools open year round.

Better restaurant facility at ski hill. Fix deck....it’s ridiculously slippery. Less stairs...people are in ski boots. Handicapped parking. spaces at the ski hill.

No

Summer trails (esp Mtn Biking) trails improvements are a very high priority

Have Tahoe Donner limit the number of short term rentals per season. Maybe have an extra fee for home owners on the Assessment for properties that are only rentals year round.

Improvement and expansion of Trout Creek. Completion of Donner Rim trail for mountain biking. more pool umbrellas; beach umbrellas; more convenient youth golf camps/instruction

Would love to see Trout Creek expansion and plan for next 20 years.

An ice rink would be very cool in the winter.

Amenities are managed very well.

Please re-investigate putting the overhead cables underground. more swimming pools

Stewardship and conservation of open space is very important - for example Bennett Flat Meadow, Alder Creek headwaters & wetlands, the meadows in Euer Valley. I'd appreciate more information being provided on TDA work & efforts (I heard Annie Rosenfeld speak about this briefly last year, more info like that).

None

Maintaining existing facilities most important

We absolutely LOVE the Alder Creek Adventure Center!!!! Great job! The Downhill Center could use some love and e passion, but everything else is AMAZING!

I support ski lift upgrade for safety, but not ski lodge upgrade. Ski lodge is mostly sufficient for current needs. Against investing in growth of ski area due to global warming concerns and limited terrain, challenge, parking at TD ski. Would support an uber-like Ski shuttle pickup/dropoff in all TD.

The staff should try and be nicer to members

Expand gym facilities. We stopped going because it was always too crowded.

Improve the kitchen at Alder Creek, put the tent there

Better method of ensuring owners who rent their property enforce renters to abide for HOA rules about noise, parking, all night lighting, outdoor lights that illuminate entire neighborhood and are not restricted to downward direction.

More consideration of off-hill owners in setting hours and availability of amenities.

Maintain existing but no expansion.

- Adults only hot tub at Trout Creek - Allow use of Northwoods Clubhouse after 5 PM when Pizza on the Hill not open (our book club would like to meet there) - Improve vegetarian friendliness of Lodge menu (it gets worse for vegetarians every revision) - This cross country ski season sure makes me in favor of snow making there so at least we can ski a few kilometers - Since snowplay is so profitable and such a small area, snow making there sure makes sense. I'm all for snowplay since it has such a positive revenue impact - The downhill lodge is falling apart. Despite what people are saying on NextDoor.com, you've got to do something - Have kayaks and windsurfers ready to go at 7 AM at Beach Club Marina - I won't purchase the season pass like I did last year as a result More and more comfortable rowboats, canoes at the lake.

No

Great amenities hope new board doesn't screw them up.

I think that amenities in TD should be for members and not the general public. Amenities cost money to build and keep up. The larger the size the more it costs to maintain. Also, having non-member use brings in traffic and other congestion. Recognize that our property values are based in part upon the amenities offered, but having them accessible to member/owners is key in property values.

Keep building, keep maintaining without drastic increases to our dues

Very pleased with Alder Creek Adventure Center

Keeping alder creek lodge open later in the evening as a place to meet friends and family

Save and Spend the money to keep our amenities nice and current for our growing needs and expectations, and prioritize funds to make TD facilities and amenities better for the future. Thank you.

Trout creek food and drink stay open past 3

Use nicer soaps in the rec center. Or, at the least, offer shampoo AND body wash, not just whatever amalgamation is in there now.

Would like to have the payment system for rec fees synced up between the ski areas, adventure center, trout creek, and the main office

Supporting too many amenities the three previous suggestions could all help generate more revenue and help lower the HOA when the downhill lodge is replaced, consider an ampitheater venue to be able to host music and festivals better parking for the beach club, especially on holidays or weekends. Boat trailer parking gets priority parking but what about those without boats that like to enjoy the beach club? I typically end up parking WAY down the street in the dirt and walking a long way. OR what about a member key card access/swipe entry gate and stairway down the street so if you have to park far away you don't have to walk all the way back to the main entrance just to get in (usually carrying all of the beach stuff).

I love that TD has great amenities which allows us to take advantage of our beautiful surroundings. Please keep them up so we and future members will be able to enjoy them.

Amenities need to break even without member support.

Looking forward to the trout creek weight room remodel.

They are all pretty nice, except the tennis clubhouse and downhill lodge. Let's not go overboard fixing things up, ok?

In general, I think everything is GREAT. Occasionally (though admittedly not very often) someone on staff still has a "we / they" attitude-- hasn't gotten the memo that we (homeowners and staff) are all a team here. I'm sure there are homeowners who are similarly uninformed. There should be a way for both homeowners and staff to give instant, anonymous feedback if and when this happens to hold all of us more accountable. Also, Forestry (which is terrific in so many ways) has gotten over it's skis a bit lately in terms of citations-- seems to be having a hard time distinguishing between serious problems and a few pine needles on the ground. Defensible space is a serious and important issue-- making everyone a criminal is actually counter-productive to our common goals in this regard.

Maintain what we have.

I deeply appreciate the efforts of the General Manager to keep Tahoe Donner relevant to the needs of the whole community it just a vocal minority

Why are guests charged to use the facilities if the owner has paid his amenities dues.

We love the trails in both the winter and summer and hope you do not try to monetize them.

Fire the existing greenskeeper and hire a professional greenskeeper who cares. The golf course has gone steadily downhill over the last few years and there has been no noticeable effort to fix the deplorable condition of the course and practice area. My wife and I will switch to the Gray's Crossing / Old Greenwood courses if things don't improve this year.

- remove recreation fee addition - remove guest fees visiting with us, if members have also paid for recreation fee, so that we get value of having paid more fees - remove inclusive fees to subsidize golf for all members since many do not play; raise per use golf fees instead

I would like the golf course brought up to the standards set by Coyote Moon, Grays Crossing, Shafers Mill and Greenwood. I am concerned that the golf course is significantly falling behind the other courses in the area. The other amenities such as the pool, tennis and rec areas are much better than the competing facilities in the area.

Too much light pollution from neighbors. TD needs a strong and enforced outdoor lighting architectural standard.

I would love it if TD would consider opening up the "big pool" for lap/lane swimming on weekends up until 10am (or whenever the big pool opens). Would be great to heat this pool in the winter too (although I realize that's probably expensive). The 3 lane pool gets rather crowded and can only hold 6 people unless someone is a masters swimmer and understands lane speeds and circle swimming (not often).

Need to continue to improve the golf course.

Upgrade the gym - need more room and more weights/stretching

Steam and sauna are in a really bad shape after the renovation. Steam room is not working half the time and is never clean. Always stinks as a public restroom. Must be be disinfected with chlorine at least weekly. Sauna runs at half the power, to activate one needs to reach the switch under the heater, ridicules Improve responsibly. Trout Creek had improvements and showers break down and drains get clogged too often.

Marina area improvements. There is not enough space and ramp access.

We were hopeful that the lake beach would be expanded. We would like to be mindful of investing too much in snow dependent activities.

WiFi for all of TD

Bring the smoked trout back to Alder Creek! i really like a lot of the improvements and amenities put in place in the last couple years.

I am so disappointed in the locker room remodel. I can't believe wood paneling was added all over the place. the colors don't go =( for future stick with the classy look of the xc center/lodge..

Improve downhill skiing amenities...building, chairlifts

Nope

Gym could be nicer. Upgrade equipment and expand. Make true adults only areas. Kids take it over

I like the idea of expanding the Trout Creek fitness center

More snow-making. This year has been a good reminder of how fickle winter can be.

I think it’s very well run. Thanks for your hard work.

Very happy. Let's make the best of what we have without raising HOA assessments, even if we have to pay a little extra for individual usage.

Glad they are there.

Short term renters are overcrowding our facilities and MUST be regulated. Charging more is only the first step. We need to reconsider the idea of allowing public access to the Marina and Trout Creek.

More vegetarian options at Pizza on the Hill, please. The menu was recently updated and there are no longer any non-pasta/pizza/salad vegetarian options.

It is imperative that we expand Trout Creek. The current gym-side proposal is a great first step. We should approve it and get started with construction.

We definitely need the gym expansion. The beach club is much too crowded to enjoy, so it would be nice to find a way to expand there also.

We love the tennis center and hiking trails. We are also big golfers and the course could use some upgrades.

Expand Donner Lake beach and clubhouse to alleviate weekend crowding during summer months.

The food could continuously be improved at the Beach Club and Pool and more dog friendly areas.

The T D Ski Resort could increase year around usage by adding a good restaurant.

When I visit for the holidays or weekends with my family, we cannot get a chair or table at Trout Creek Recreation Center. It is too crowded and from what I understnd it's full of people who are renting. The most insulting sign I see at Trout Creek is the one stating the Rec Center is a Private ammenity, whic is as far from the truth as possible. Revamp your ammenity pass rules. If you are thinking or expand/improving you will be doing so only for the renter, not the members who will end up paying.

Nothing specific, but would urge continued efforts in general to improve amenities and to foster places and occasions for people to gather and socialize.

The amenities are great, but they are overcrowded. Cant use the beach or the pool in the summer because of too many short term rentals. You are turning this into a resort, and as great as the amenities are, they become useless to the members. When you go to the State Beach to avoid all the renters, something is terribly wrong.

The Tahoe Basin is a premier world-renown recreation destination. Aside from the Association's open space and trail network, I see no reason to invest in other recreational facilities. How many golf courses and ski areas does the region need?

Down hill ski lodge Trout creek addition

Love Tahoe Donner! We have had our place there 40+ years!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It would also be a big help to find a way to add parking at TDXC for peak periods. Potentially large revenue payback too!

We need to remodel the downhill ski lodge but not to the tune of $10m+ Perhaps $2m would make a huge improvement. more daycare hours. More winter indoor activities for kids/parents.

I would like to see our current amenities maintained but not expanded.

Love it up in Tahoe Donner

We have all the amenities we need. We do not need any more or to expand any existing. Sure the are a few times when an amenity or two is crowded but that is just the way it is sometimes. Squaw Valley is crowded sometimes too as is anything else people do. Please do not spend foolish amounts of money an downhill ski area improvements. Current amenities like the gym/pool or the beach are at times over run by guests not accompanied by members. This makes it very unattractive for members to use and enjoy them. For example we stopped going to the beach on weekends because its just too crowded to enjoy. Limiting amenities to members and their immediate guests (that they bring with them) would certainly help. I feel with so many short term renters, amenities become less and less usable for members themselves, which is very unfortunate as the amenities were one of they reasons why we purchased in TD.

Facilities are good just crowded at peak times (naturally) and rather expensive.

Golf Course should increase fees. too cheap

Enforce existing rules particuly dogs on leashes. Keep dogs off the Marina beach

I think there should be a special one time fee for additional member cards, such as for a son-in-law or daughter-in-law, so that they could get the member rate when using the amenities.

Snow making at the snow play and more at downhill, not sure aboy cross country

We should maximize the commercial use of our facilities so as to lower our own costs and thereby push more money into our capital fund or slow down the annual association rate increases

Have shuttle service within TD circulate to various pickup points & eventually go to all amenities year round to alleviate car traffic i.e. walk to a stop to catch shuttle to Alder Creek for a day of hiking/skiing or stay on til you get to the clubhouse pool/tennis. Make it seasonally appropriate.

Need to underground all those terrible wires!

Overall very pleased with amenities

It would be great if Alder Creek Cafe could be open until 7PM on Friday/Saturday/Holiday evenings for food and drinks. If it is well advertised, the people will come. It is such a beautiful setting!

Would love better quality food choices at all facilities for kids We stay in TD all summer and by two weeks in, we've already eaten WAY too many hot dogs and chicken strips. I enjoy eating at TD amenities, but it gets gross quickly.

Stop increasing homeowner dues.

Add a doggy day care facility and dog park.

The downhill ski facilities and terrain are long overdue for improvement and expansion

Under-ground electric utilities

More dog friendly trails, more mountain biking trails, very happy with TD management over the past few years. Concerned that the new board is going to harm the great amenities and community we have here in TD.

Get rid of boat launch for motor boats

Trout Creek improvements as presented by Ben Levine very important to my wife and I downhill ski lodge is in poor shape and needs improvement. It is a liability.

More parking at alder creek adventure center TDXC

Awesome bang for your buck in Tahoe Donner!

I am very happy with existing amenities, but would like to make sure they are kept up to date and maintain their high quality standards.

Take care of existing facilities. Don't spend large sums of money on facilities open to the public. Don't try to become a resort with an HOA tacked onto it. "Members first"

The Northwoods Clubhouse is in dire need of a renovation / expansion to bring it up to the level of 'awesomeness' as the other club houses within the HOA.

Very satisfied with all the amenities. It is a wonderful community

Keep up the facilities we have and provide the best access to members.

It seems they are all very expensive if our family wants to participate. It seems those of us second home members are just funding these amenities for the locals. My family can use similar facilities at home and we will enjoy nature at the cabin, at no extra cost. The cost of the facilities does not pencil out for us.

The new Alder Creek center is a very nicely designed and well-run winter amenity. Kudos to the staff for optimizing the experience indoors and out. It seems like this facility could be a nice addition to evening activity programming with some creative energy devoted to it. A winter equivalent to "Cowgirls & Cocktails" might be nice, or maybe Warren Miller night with the bar open.

The downhill resort should be as nice as the Trout Creek and Alder Creek centers.

I would like to see the owners cards increased from 4 per household to 6 or even 8.

I support the proposed Trout Creek improvements

Down Hill Skiing facility could be updated.

Another ski lift? Really look carefully at spending so much money on a downhill lodge

Make the needed improvements to Trout Creek!

An adult only pool

Downhill ski lodge needs renovation or new facility..... Trout Creek is limited during peak times..Marina is crowded by non homeowners during peak times... impossible to use by home owners...

I would make sure that all existing amenities are well maintained and accessible.

Thx

The amenities are great and with the focus on keeping them updated, they're even better......

We should focus on amenities that serve the needs of Tahoe Donner and not the general public. It does not make sense when Tahoe Donner owners try to use an amenity and it is full or unavailable since there is significant public use (e.g. pool is full, ski hill classes are full, lodge closed due to private event/tent eyesore, marina closed for private event, etc).

As a summer resident the trail system is most used by us. Limit trail use to TD residents only. TD marketing implies free trail use. Our association fees cover this amenity and outside participants should pay as well.

The Lodge is great as it is and is in a very nice building. If we have to have the unsightly white tent there all summer long, move it to the side of the building closer to the Fire Station. The wedding parties still get a nice view of the golf course, and the DJ's music will be less obnoxious for the golf condo owners. As TD is trying to increase tent bookings, condo owners won't be able to be in their condos on most summer Fridays and Saturdays when they would otherwise sit out on their decks. If it's a hot summer day, they have to close up all the windows just to try and dampen the noise. If the tent was being proposed next to a Board Member's home, just think!? Move the tent to the Adventure Ctr where it's placed without spoiling views and there aren't any neighbors as close. Much more parking there too. Do away with the tent and have a proper kitchen installed.

Facilities are overrun by short term renters. Amenity access policy needs to be revamped.

Expanded public parking on glacier and ski slope. Add summer trails above the forestry building to connect south side of the neighborhood. Backcountry ski pass for TDXC to allow parking and early morning/evening access off groomed trails. Gates or other access system to allow backcountry ski access to hawks peak and drifter face.

Down hill ski lodge needs remodeling and enlarging

I do not think the golf course is a good use of resources, both fiscally and environmentally

This survey doesn't perform any service. It is biased in the direction of building nes amenitites. We need greater control over the HOA management organization by the HOA BOD none

The amenities at TD is the reason we bought our home here years ago. Any noticeable drop in he quality of these amenities will cause us to reconsider other options in the area.

Improve downhill ski building. Update tennis center building.

Please continue working to make the cell tower useful to more property owners. Thanks.

We have outgrown the Trout Creek pool and the Marina cannot be enlarged, we need another swim facility, possibly at Alder Creek. I also think we need to enlarge our Fitness Center at Trout Creek.

Enforcing speed limits, especially on some of the smaller roads

The golf course and driving range are in need of maintenance and upgrading, especially the range mats/tees and balls.

Continue to work on golf course improvements and maintenance. Expand fitness center and pool areas if possible.

I am very satisfied with tahoe DONNER. Thanksgiving dinner and other special events should have preference for members. Also, better signage in the valley for snow skiing / cross country and a good hit on weekends with soup etc. would be fun.

Reduce the loss on the equestrian activities.

Yes I am in full support of improvements to the Trout Creek Rec Center.

Our Nordic trails are not as readily available and well maintained as they were in years past. We feel the performance of the management team and groomers has substantially gotten worse over the past five years. Although the facility is state of the art, the trails are no longer matching. And, the response from that team when approached is never friendly or positive.

More beach chairs and parking at the lake would be great!

I would like to see us invest in additional snowmaking on the downhill ski hill to make intermediate terrain less weather dependent ... would also like to see the downhill ski lodge rebuilt/replaced look at prior comment

Expand Trout Creek. Get rid of the tent; TD does not need to be in the event business.

None at this time

More summer concerts, maybe on Ski Hill area, vs the golf course! Keep the existing amenities in good repair and operation, and keep expenses under control.

The trails we hike in the summer with our dog are not available for snowshoeing in the winter. This limits our activities in the Tahoe Donner area so we have to go elsewhere.

Further investment in the downhill ski hill should be considered carefully. Given the elevation of the site, if global warming does negatively effect the winter snow, it would be a terrible waste of resources to construct a new lodge. I've enjoyed the existing lodge and we ski there from time to time, but the size and terrain do not warrant visits anymore. please put more emphasis and money into the grooming and trail maintenance at TDXC. I go there to ski, the lodge is not that important to me. Please also aggressively look into a solution to the parking issue at TDXC. Try to get permission from Lahontan to clear snow from the south paved area so we can park there!

They are great, i would just maintain them and save for future upgrades / expansions and try to minimize increases to the HOA

Upkeep and expansion must be part of the long term strategic plan. Lifestyle quality depends on this.

Down hill ski lodge must be replaced

The biggest issue is the horrible food at the beach club. We just bring our own food now as it's so disappointing. The food at the adventure center is amazing...can we get that quality down there?

No

I love the fact that we have the amenities basically all year round. And that they are well taken care of. Changes 1: At the downhill I wish that there was could either another ski lift or the two we have run faster especially on days when there are not many people. 2. The cost for guests when accompanied by a member were cheaper. I have been to other places with friends on Tahoe where their guests are free when accompanied by a member.

The amenity that first comes to mind is the beach access. I can't see how that could be enlarged but larger would be a bit better. improved downhill ski lodge. open summer amenities earlier than 20 June.....

Just expand trout creek and parking at cross country. I find the cross country expansion has made it so popular I sometimes can't get in. Or do like Trout Creek has done and have a "members only" parking section. It's maddening to pay 2000 for amenities and then not be able to use them.

The golf course needs major improvements.

Love the beach marina and snowplay, pony rides for kids. no

Keep kids out of the adult pool area and hot tubs

Members should always be given a chance to vote on major capital expenditures.

Let the board spend money to maintain and steadily improve amenities. I believe that communities which are starved for capital by penny- pinching HOAs end up with declining property values and community experiences.

TroutCreek needs improvement...check it out!

Golf course was NOT well maintained last summer Lodge restaurant needs a more mountain friendly menu including some comfort food items and full breakfast menu during high seasons. Or at least offer full breakfast at pizza on the hill during high seasons

When expanding gym facilities at Trout Creek, please include additional free weight/olympic lifting equipment such as bumper plates, squat racks, and perhaps, a lifting platform.

I would like to see the adoption of a policy that allows the broader inclusion of all the immediate family members of the owner and their immediate families only to be able to purchase the amenity passes at the owner rates.

Increased parking at the beach would be helpful or shuttle from Trout creek not just from highschool or wherever it is.

The gym needs help-expansion!

Before any amenity improvement is considered I feel it is appropriate to conduct a return on investment study. Furthermore, some amenities should produce a net overall , not just operating, profit. For example the golf course, lodge and all food facilities should be able to at least break even. Otherwise association members are effectively subsidizing each other’s meals and golf game. Golf courses and restaurants are generally considered enterprises which should make a net overall profit. Right now we applaud the operating profit but neglect the other expenses(improvements) which impact the net overall results. Thank you for the opportunity to comment.

Parking at the beach club is an issue. I have been there at 8:00 am- no one on the beach and the parking lot is 2/3 full and no boats either. Regulate the use of the parking somehow

Make it easier for off-the-hill members to bring their children to the amenities without paying high daily use fees or paying for the annual Rec. fee that is of little value to them.

TD used to be a dog friendly place, as a full-time home owner for almost 16 yrs I am very unhappy with second home owner's bringing their rules and opinions.. We live in the mountains for a reason. make more trails accessible to dogs in the winter time

My family loves the gym and hot tubs, but would love to see the locker rooms and amenities improved. They are substandard, often dirty and kind scruffy in places. The showers are weak and many times broken. I'm not expecting a luxury spa experience, but I think a little more effort, better towels, some nicer shower/body lotion products and you could dramatically improve the overall experience. I am for keep TD for the residents and property owners and not trying to make it a “Resort”

Your staff does a great job managing all the amenities. Friendly, Courteous, Helpful.

Concentrate more on saving money, not spending it.

Tahoe Donner is great the kayak and paddle board storage was a bust but other than that its fantastic

Follow on, Shuttle to and from main street area of Truckee. Anything to to cut down on traffic in and out and parking.

Offer program to keep hydrants dug out, adding bike lanes does not have to eliminate street parking of you mark both sides of lane, work with town on streamlining airbnb to autocollect hotel tax and avoid penalties (10%/month is astronomical) raise price of amenity use for renters, especially STR"s

Do not think the ski lodge is worth the extra expense to maintain

Keep doing what you're doing.

More umbrellas would be nice at both pools. Looking forward to the Trout Creek Recreation Expansion.

I’d like to see better food options at the marina. We love the food at the pool at Trout creek in summer and at Alder Creek. expand Trout Creek Rec...exercise rooms and whirlpools often crowed. But I think this is planned.

I'm a renter and I'm very confused on what's available. We have passes but were then asked to pay for the beach and pool. Not sure????

I appreciate the open space, we use the trail system mostly Summer and Winter. XC skiing and mountain biking. I ride, run and ski with our dog. we love the marina beach club but hate the parking situation and the crowded beach. it would be great if it could be enlarged somehow.

Improvement of the ski resort as it is the largest source of revenue for the Association. I would like to see higher fees for the golf course as it is continually loosing money. The current prices to play golf seem significantly below market value for members.

I think the shuttle service should be improved and be more reliable so people leave their cars in their driveways

No

The small population of year round members benefits from all of the part time members. There needs to be access for guests of part time members. There should not be any surprise increases in amenity fees for guests like we recently were HIT with. This effects short term rental attractiveness of Tahoe Donner. Please do not do anything else (e.g. restrict access for guests without member) as these assaults to the short term rental owners is not acceptable.

New downhill ski lodge

Please work on keeping Trout Creek Fitness Center clean. The floor mats are disgusting. Please provide more area for stretching.

Better menu at Lodge. We’ve looked at menu several times and wanted to go but there is nothing on it that our family would eat. How about at least a few “plainer”entrees without all the sauces and other “yuppie”things like truffles

The Downhill center need to replaced. It is a great hill but the facility is old.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT plan ANY improvements that will trigger a special assessment. We is fancy enough. after all these you you still have not got a suitable casual family resturant. Pizza on Hill has min selestions, Lodge childrens menu is a joke, Donner Lake Public Beach food hut is better than TD for selection

Residents should not have to subsidize money losing amenities like golf course. If the golf course is not making enough money to break even, then charge more fee. If the downhill ski area is one amenity that is making money, then improve the chair lift loading and unloading areas.

Expand Northwoods pool

New owner and have not had the chance yet to enjoy the resort

Keep acquiring and improving trail system that is an amazing amenity!

Tahoe Donner has continued to improve over the years. We hope to spend more time up there not that we are retired.

Shade over the current lap pool all year around.

The Northwoods Club House will need major renovation or replacement in the not to distant future. Covered mail boxes are needed with adequate number of boxes for all homes. Build nice dorms for TD seasonal employees. Continue to preserve open space

I'd prioritize maintaining them and minimizing the annual fee. I'm a bit annoyed that the fee has gone up by 2.5x in the time I've been an owner while inflation has been far far lower than that. I do think it's a good value still and appreciate that it has leveled out in the last few years but I don't want to see another upturn. Thanks! continued trail upgrades improvements to connect neighborhoods to amenities and town

Things are great, don’t try to make it a resort. We have a nice balance today. Maintain what we have today.

Trout creek expansion!

Generally the amenities are quite good. More chairs and loungers at the pool would be good. Marina is too crowded.

I was in the locker room at Trout Creek over Christmas and the smell was TERRIBLE

There was no option to say fix and maintain what we have and then consider new facilities if any suggested activities cannot be accomplished in existing facilities. Each NEW thing will add to the cost of operating, maintaining and replacement in the future which ultimately means higher Annual Assessments. Facilities are capital costs; activities and programs are operational costs.

New ski hill lodge, enlarge Trout Creek, replace event tent, find new events for Adventure Center, build bridges and trails for Carpenter Valley, and consider additional snow making.

Organized tennis at night for people who work but live in Tahoe Donner

Happy with things as they are, but I also am open to new things. Think bocce ball is a great innovation. a) allow guests to use the amenities same as members with no additional fee if owners have paid the rec fee. b) reduce the daily guest fee. Feels like we are nickel and timing our guests. c) increase the annual rec fee if needed to cover costs. $270 for four people is a bargain.

No more building! Improve already existing buildings and add solar to them. STOP BUILDING!! Concentrate on our roads and speeding!

Completion of the equestrian center is long overdue. Also, Pizza on the Hill has terrible food and needs a revamped menu.

None at this time.

The HOA spends entirely too much money on expanding facilities or replacing facilities. The plans for the ski lodge are beyond sensible as is the constant spending of money on land purchases. The facilities we have are fine. Yes they should be maintained but the constant spending of money and increases in homeowner dues has spiraled out of control. I'm sorry I moved to Tahoe Donner.

The only thing I feel could use improvement is an "adults only" jacuzzi at the Trout Creek Rec center that is actually enforced.

WiFi improvements.

There needs to be a family shower bathroom at Trout Creek.

No

A dog park would be nice. My dogs are always on a leash for their safety and protection.

Extended hours at adventure center bar. Members not member guest should receive discount at all facilities

We need therabands and rollers. A lot of us who hike and ski go to Trout Creek to stretch. We don't always take a class. We need available equipment to stretch out in the 'exercise room' and the weight room when the exercise room is in use.

Upgrade to the Northwoods clubhouse, love the family friendly atmosphere there!! Love the kids play area, maybe expand on that. We live there!

More mountain bike trails would be great

More social events with adults...wine tasting, art, beer tasting etc.

I think y'all are doing a great job!

More skiing terrain, perhaps more advanced if possible. The beach is tooo crowded in summer! No room to sit down

Increase green fees as the golf show pay for itself or make a profit. Currently it is run like a private club for just a few members who book all the tee times. Maintain the activities and spirit at the tennis club. Encourage more social activities at cross country. We enjoyed the musicians last summer.

Please redo the downhill ski lodge.

More parking, chairs, space at Lake. Better food.

Sorry I am not more helpful. Finished 2 year process of finding a lot and building a cabin at Tahoe Donner in the fall of 2017.

Trout creek bathrooms need to be cleaner

Would be great for Pizza On The Hill to have a pager system or wait list by name when waiting for tables

Do we really need to grow our amenities? The association is creating a resort which is not what we want.

- TD Marina way too crowded during peak summer times. Guest # should be capped - Better signage on mtn biking & hiking trails, please! - Food at Pizza on the Hill needs improvement!

There's no back button to change options on this survey. Please fix.

Improve the XC ski operation to make it more usable in low snow years, e.g. remove all rocks larger than 3" diameter (like they've done in Winthrop/Mazama WA), plant trees to shade the super sunny spots that melt out quickly, etc.

Pizza on the hill pizza is not very good anymore. Food at the Lodge is inconsistent in quality. I miss the old time, more friendly neighborhood atmosphere at the cross country center, and think the huts are poorly serviced and maintained. Some of the summer trails are rutted and eroded from overuse or misuse.

So happy to have been here for nearly 40 years! Love the facilities, improvements, and smart development. I am amazed at how fiscally creative you are while fiscally sound. Our HOA costs have barely gone up over the years and yet the amenities are first class and improving all of the time! LAST BUT NOT LEAST: The Lodge Pub is not the same since Paul left. He was a jewel and knew everyone and built community. I know he chose to leave, but please, please find a way to bring him back!!!!

Consider negotiating with local ski resorts for a special TD ski pass (either discount or multi-resort access). You would have some bargaining power, and they might be willing to cut a special deal for this specific audience.

Great value, really happy to be a Tahoe Donner resident. Just want to continue investing in the community to ensure we don't lose our edge!

Please make the Marina more boat-friendly. There have been improvements but it is still very hard/unsafe to put a boat in and out of the water with pedestrians and swimmers.

TROUT CREEK EXPANSION, TO CROWDED.

I would like to see improvements to the tennis club to create better locker rooms and showers.

More chairs and picnic tables at marina.

New downhill ski lodge is way overdue.

Great job!

Please apply defensible fire safety measures to all TD land and easements. It is quite unfair, hypocritical and pointless in the end if fire occurs when TD doesn't do anything on adjacent land under TD control.

Don't make the same expensive and less functional renovations to the downhill center that you made to the XC center. There are enough fancy and obnoxious ski areas in Tahoe. The cross country center now has TVs and a bar. Is it for skiing or sitting around?

Improve/expand the downhill ski lodge.

Tree trimming and removal of dead trees. Clearing out underbrush. Personally I would like to see utilities placed under ground I voted for this many times and I’m still in favor of it.

Not making enough of the Adventure Center, regardless of poor snow conditions this year. Missing income opportunities, with inconsistent bar and restaurant times., Bar is poorly designed. Building needs lots of Nations flags hung from beams to improve appalling acoustics. Waste of space behind main counters by entrance. Install a "Tahoe National Forest" sign where Schussing enters onto Schussing-will help property values, and installs pride for members & potential investors.

Trout creek is too crowded. Definitely need to move forward with expansion

Stop focusing on golf, stop wasting money by planning for the short term only. Replace the majority of the HOA board and fire the general manager . snowmaking for part of the Nordic Center.

Amenities are fine. We mostly just use the trail system. We don't use the beach since we like to take our dog when we go to the lake. Occasionally use the gym/pool. We don't golf. I don 't want to pay more for additional amenities. One improvement that needs to be done is speed limit enforcement in Tahoe Donner. Out of control speeding is the biggest negative to living in Tahoe Donner.

More workout space in Trout Creek

I would like to see dogs continue to be allowed on the dog trails at the cross country ski center.

More mountain biking trails! Keep the trail-building going!

Improve the Alder Creek Adventure Center parking lot so that horse trailers don't have such a tough time navigating through. We often have to block other parked cars to register. New users get easily confused about where to go. The signs are too small. Allow street parking for horse trailers. Make sure bike camp attendees know and follow ADAC rules.

I do not want our HOA dues to increase. I would like coupons for free lift/ day pass to ski each year (just a few) to be included with our dues statement. We should get some benefit as owners in supporting the amenities through HOA.

Would like to see improvements to the golf course and a new lodge for the downhill ski area.

New ski center and restaurant and more equipment in the gym. not at this time

We love the beach but find it impossible to find parking. We appreciate the shuttles.

Addition of new amenities requires additional long-term upkeep costs. Adding more toys requires adding more tools to support the toys. Further, many suggested additions duplicate activities already available in the Truckee community. Our money should be spent on the maintenance and improvement of our current amenities.

I do not want TD to become a destination for those who do not live here. I want a mountain resort home, not a vacation resort home.

A consideration for snow reports for the cross country area and the future of snow making for Nordic trails.

TD is great. I would like to see continued emphasis on the mounrptain bike trail network. Both improvements to the trails, new trails, and interconnections with national forest trails. Thanks

An exchange board with recommendation for handymen, contractors, defensive-space work services would be good. A bit in the style of nextdoor.com.

Fat bikes ruin cross country ski trails. I don’t agree that the actions of one bike punching tracks in the middle of ski trails should be allowed to ruin the experience of hundreds. Why can’t there be dedicated fat bike trails like dog trails. Maybe I have just been unlucky but they have ruined the trails I have skated on at least half the days I have skiied this year. Can’t the golf course, which is unused in the winter, be the fat bike center? Maybe it will take someone falling and getting seriously injured after hitting a six inch deep fat bike rut right down the middle of a ski trail to change things.

Hop on, hop off shuttle (no charge), makes the access to amenities by some members of a family possible, when other members of the family uses their own private transportation for out of community travel to other area recreational opportunities, i.e. Lake Tahoe, Reno, etc.

We have belonged to Tahoe Donner since 1973 when my father bought. Now my grandkids also enjoy it. We are particularly pleased with the constant maintenance of all the facilities, and, yes, we use them all, particularly the gym/pools at Trout Creek, cross country center (THE BEST), and the golf course, and the beach. Thanks for all your great work!

Snow making xc ski center

Good short survey. Thanks

A peaceful adult only pool area or pool time would be very nice

It is fine the way it is. Just cut down all the dead trees.

Please continue to maintain/improve the Golf Course in order to keep it as a pristine amenity.

Snow making at tdxc Charge str visitors $24 per person per aminity I am very concerned about overcrowding at marina etc

Appreciate that the new board is listening to us

There is still a problem with overcrowding in the summer at the marina and trout creek centers. I do not believe that the very small increase in amenity fees will reduce that overcrowding. The overcrowding in the existing very nice facilities that we have is very disturbing, especially as when I purchased my home in 2000 I did so with the understanding that the amenities were private.

It would be nice to have a larger, more spacious weight room & better setup/ stretching area at trout creek.

The amenities are varied and always pretty well done.

Get the improvements done on the Trout Creek facility and get the new equipment installed. Charge non home owners significantly more to use the facilities. More parking at Donner beach would be nice, but probably not possible.

Happy enough with what we have. Not happy about money spent on snow making equipment.

Extend hours at Trailside Bar and Alder Creek Cafe.

Thank you for doing such a good job. We enjoy many of the amenities. The beach, xc, lodge, trout creek rec center, golf course and mtn biking are amongst our favorites. Adding more single track trails would be great.

It would be nice to have a place to go for breakfast on property.

The reservation system, using reservecalifornia.gov, is not operational during the many winter months and should be improved. It is necessary to make reservations for the TD campground at Alder Creek in advance of the time you want to use it.

No improvements are necessary. Just continued maintenance and/or replacement of existing facilities when they reach EOL. For example, replace the Snowbird lift with a new one.

Community summer activities at the ski lodge. Providing deli-type foods and outdoor eating for lunch and dinner.

Not sure at this time....maybe brunch at the lodge on Sundays?

Look at ways to make building more cost efficient

We would like to have adult only hot tubs and adult lap lanes. This is a private club and should not be treated as a public pool. The kids have their pool and hot tub area, they don't need to invade our quiet time. We love Tahoe Donner. You're doing a great job and it's all dialed in for our needs, except for this issue. Thank you.

Enhance enforcement of current regulations for the cross country groomed ski trail system: no fat tire bikes on groomed ski trails, no dogs on ski only trails, no snow shoeing on groomed ski trails. Have summer users of the cross country ski trails leave them in the fall like they found them in the spring. Summer users should be responsible for reconditioning the trails for winter use.

Improving parking at the Marina. Lots of wasted space at the moment. More SUP storage at the Marina.

(1) The TD amenities have grown geometrically in the last 19 years due to the wishes of the full-time residents representing approximately 20%-30% of the Association. (2) The assessments have risen to a all time high ($1900) to support the super-boosting of Replacement and Reserve Funds to pay for these improvements, expansions and maintenance. (3) Property owners must pay for these large scale amenities on off snow years, economic downturns. (4) Property owners must pay to use their own amenities which the already pay for with the assessment. (5) The remaining 70%-80% of the association property owners mostly are off the hill as part-time participants. They rent their property or come up occasionally. Most are involved in their jobs and don’t really get involved with the wants or desires of the Association until they see another hike in the Assessments. (6) We are reaching the “straw that broke the Camels back”

More and better Hiking trails

More trails that allow dogs like the updates that have been going on over last few years. Keep going in that direction. More trails for MTB and foot. Keep the dining options going, etc.

They are too crowded and there is no way to make them better, just too many people. TD should have never had Trout Creek. added to the amenities. No matter how much we expand it it will not be enough for weekend travelers and second homeowners. Visiting people should go and hike instead of working in the weight room. Improve the traffic situation, especially on weekends, around the Adventure Center. There is often a long line of people waiting to get in which I get stuck in when I'm just trying to get home.

CCW classes

Leave well enough alone. We are not a world class ski resort and Never will be. Let the locals enjoy what we have and keep the crowds to a minimum

Consider moving Snowplay to reduce parking impact atTrout Creek. Consider adding snowmaking to Snowplay. Remove tent at the Lodge. TD does not benefit by having weddings here.

Stop spending so much money!

I believe money should be spent to maintain current amenities which are showing signs of use and age. Also I am for any reconfiguration or expansion of Trout Creek.I strongly urge a limited use of Amenities (especially Trout Creek) during peak season by renters. Perhaps one pass per household so that facilities are not overwhelmed by non owners. Homeowners should not feel like it's an unpleasant experience to use amenities for which they pay for annually.

Shade for play area at Trout Creek slides etc get so hot almost burn skin on sunny days More umbrellas everywhere for summer

I love the fact that there are dog trails at the cross country center both for winter and summer activities. Well behaved dogs should be permitted on the trails and are a value added amenity to Tahoe Donner. If there were no access for dogs and their owners at Tahoe Donner, I and many of my friends would consider selling our property.

Improve the archery and bacce ball courts Hiking/Biking trails could be marked even better Additional geo chaching trails

Pizza on the Hill could benefit from an improved menu. The food is substandard. Please do not include my name with comment!

Keep ACAC food+bev open longer (at least 1hour after activities conclude). Why build new facilities when you don’t allow the current ones to be utilized.

Continue to provide well maintained facilities giving good service.

1. Create better signage for trailhead entrances, especially on Wolfgang Rd.. Signs would also be appreciated in the area off of Lions Leap for those wanting to walk back to Wolfgang from Lions Leap crossing between cabins and on private property. 2. Stop "multi-use" of groomed ski trails for fat tire bikes by creating trails specifically for them. Insist that staff renting snowshoes out to visitors, understand that snowshoeing is only allowed on the side of the groomed area and NOT on the groomed trails as is often the case. 3. If the issue of dog poop on designated and groomed ski trails is not resolved, than dog owners should not be allowed to use this premises for walking/running/skiing with their dogs. Too many folks come to ski with their dogs "off-leash" and are therefore able to feign indifference! P.S. I LOVE dogs but this is a total disrespect for the work that goes into maintaining a beautifully groomed site.

Please get on with the expansion project for Trout Creek Recreation Center. no

The amenities really enhance property values for the community. I would hope the board will continue to improve/update facilities as needed and not defer maintenance. Mike Silvestri

Support uphill skiing/skinning at TD Downhill and allow member access to back side of Hawk Hill for backcountry ski access without guides.

If a homeowner pays the recreation fee, exercise classes should be free. Charge more to all the visitors that impact these classes to cover the cost of the instructors.

Keep current amenities in good repair and modern. Increase capacity as needed to keep up with member and member-guest use. No less. No more.

Reciprocity with area golf courses which does not seem to exist

Tahoe Donner continues to get better and better, both in services/activities and operationally. The Board and staff are forward-thinking, and we appreciate that they continually improve the community and plan for future needs.

I would support snow making at XC so even in low snow years we can be skiing. Thank you.

Keep dues low and maintain existing amenities.

Improve summer trail signage/markers

Instead of adding new amenities, Tahoe Donner should focus on improving the current ones. The Trout Creek Center project is a good example of improving and upgrading the current amenities. Some suggestions of other areas that could use some improvement are the pizza at Pizza on the Hill is not as good as it used to be and not up to what is a available in town. The quality of the lodge food is also very inconsistent. Adding to the trails system is also an example of enhancing the current amenities, but we could also use more maintenance work on the existing ones. make better use of Trout Creek. There is wasted space off the reception area and no where to stretch. Child care area should be moved to wasted space off of reception or better utilized.

Summer water activities (Trout Creek Pool and Marina) are over capacity on weekends and / or holidays. While nothing can be done regarding Donner Lake property size, an additional lap / rec pool would help alleviate congestion and "finding a chair". Perhaps and new pool at Alder Creek adventure center?

The exercise facility is the most important to me.

Try and expand the Marina parking. Work with CalTrans for the area across the road from the Marina. Replace the Downhill Center, similar to XC Center. A great job.

We support the Tahoe Donner board especially Jeff Bonzon. Thank You! Thank you for asking.

Snowmaking for TDXC?! Love that place, and missed spending as much time there this winter!

In looking at the financials from the past few years, I think investing our money where we get some income for the HOA is a wise choice, and the downhill ski area seems to do this for us.

Continue to improve hiking trails.

I am worried about increased annual assessments because I live here full time and have a fixed income. I love Tahoe Donner and don't want to get priced out of my home.

Help improve the beach club crowding.

Examine the possibility of improving the downhill ski building to make it more functional and comfortable rather than replacing it. Also look at utilizing the lifts for mountain biking in the summer.

Do not spend 20 million on down hill ski lodge. We need to decide if the amenities are intended for the use of home owners, or are we intending to market to the public? I'm tired of subsidising money loosing activities like golf. If it can't self support maybe its time to outsource the operations

None

We are satisfied with the amenities, our issue is with the overcrowding of the amenities due to the unaccompanied guest policy. We believe that the amenities should serve the members, not the public and not the short term renters of those who are using TD homes as businesses.

Need snowmaking, consistent reliable operation hours for f&b, more dinning capacity during peak periods.

We really don't want to keep spending vast amounts of money on amenities which require ever increasing association fees. Too many of the amenities lose money and are very staff heavy

Some upgrading of amenities to keep them safe, clean and desirable is good. I don't think we need to compete with the huge resorts because we are a residential community, and we like the low traffic, quiet atmosphere of Tahoe Donner. Thank you for asking for our input!

Continue to Prohibit motorized bikes on TD property: Winter and summer

More fun flow on bike trails

Add to the Ski bowl: Snow making for Eagle Rock routes, updated lodge or ski connectivity to the Adventure Center (which would require a new chair from Adventure Center to the top and access to Mile Run. Improvements to the Golf Course drainage to allow longer open time. Working with Town of Truckee for low cost housing for seasonal workers, which all amenities benefit from.

Improve Trout Creekbwhere ever possible. I know you are workongoing on it [RESTRICTED] 
