KEEPING UP WITH CAST AND CREW Rick Biggs series “Any Day Now” has been renewed. The show is the Lifetime channel Tuesday nights at 9pm. Rick has been doing “As You Like It” in some summer stock and is filming an episode of “90210” very soon. On a personal note, Rick and his wife Lori are expecting their first child any day now! Speaking of new additions, Ed Wasser and his wife Suzanne have a new SON!!! Yes, Evan was born about 4 months ago. If he has Dad’s eyes and Mom’s smile, look out world! Jason Carter has just finished filming an episode of the new series “G vs E”. It airs on Sunday nights on the USA network. He plays a sleazy Australian literary agent with a bad wardrobe (Jason’s words). Marjean Holden (Dr. Chambers) has filmed an episode of “La Femme Nikita” entitled “Hand to Hand”. La Femme Nikita airs on the USA network Sundays at 10 pm. David Allen Brooks (Max Eilerson) has been spotted on “The Young and the Restless” soap. The cast of both Babylon 5 and Crusade were present in full force recently at Fantasticon in Los Angeles in early August. Bill Campbell (Star Trek personality and organizer of the con) took a moment to thank them personally and told the audience that he can always count on them to show up for the convention, which benefits the Motion Picture and TV Fund! Nearly the entire cast of Crusade made an appearance recently in Valley Forge, PA at a convention! BABYLON 5/CRUSADE IN PRINT OFFICIAL BABYLON 5 MAGAZINE We can always depend on the Babylon 5 magazine to have the BEST in coverage of both Babylon 5 and Crusade. In the latest issue, we get to know the doctors of the Babylon 5 universe – Stephen Franklin (Rick Biggs) and Sarah Chambers (Marjean Holden). Randy Gardell and staff also give us insight into the change in uniforms aboard Crusade! This month’s Station Log focuses on “The Believers” – the first season episode that made believers out of a LOT of Babylon 5 fans. There’s much, much more so don’t miss an issue. Many Barnes & Noble bookstores carry the magazine. STARLOG #266 Joe Nazzaro talks to Peter Woodward about his background in acting and we learn more about his involvement as a writer, producer and fight director. Of his character Galen, Peter says, “There’s a lot of sadness in him, but also a sense of humor. There’s a lot of power in him, and also a lot of gilt maybe. But what I found interesting about the character was his depth. He wasn’t just a cipher, somebody just there to serve the plot and move the scenes along,” Peter says . • July 15, 2000 SEEING EAR THEATRE JMS' First Audio Drama for The
July 15, 2000 SEEING EAR THEATRE JMS' first audio drama for the Seeing Ear Theatre premiered on Monday night. "The Damned Are Playing at Godzilla's Tonight" - featuring Steve Buscemi launched a 13-week series by JMS of 30 minute dramas at the Sci-Fi Channel’s website. "Rolling Thunder" - featuring Andre Braugher will be available next week.at http://www.scifi.com/set. The dramas are very much like the original radio format and I think you will enjoy the story. You'll need Real Audio loaded to listen. KEEPING UP WITH CAST AND CREW In the latest issue of TV Zone, we get our first glimpse of Marjean Holden in her new role as Atrina on "Beastmaster". We won't be seeing her episodes for a while, but she says "My character is a bit of a bad girl." Quite a change from her role as Dr. Chambers in Crusade. Ranger Bridgitte reports that: Goran Gajic (married to Mira Furlan and director of episodes like "All My Dreams Torn Asunder") recently directed an episode of "OZ", the awarding-winning prison drama produced by Levinson/Fontana. Goran's episode titled, "The Bill Of Wrongs" premieres on Wednesday July 26 on HBO. The episode will be shown several times throughout the week. A schedule of times is posted at: http://mirafurlan.simplenet.com/ozschedule.html GROUP PROJECT As Babylon 5 approaches it's premiere date on the Sci-Fi Channel of September 25, I wonder what resources we could make available to NEW Babylon 5 fans! When the show was on the air, there was a very active on-line community, the Official B5 magazine came out to provide us with information to digest and enjoy, the series would turn up in publications so that we could read about our favorite characters/actors.

T2K - Judgement Day for Team B5? Triples team competition guns for the world record… B5 returns to Sheffield in April for the B5CCG UK Team Championships at Triples 2000. Last year's event was hailed a rousing success by all involved and this year, rivalries that have festered since the tense final round are likely to explode as teams lock horns for the coveted title. However, there is more at stake this year as Black Omega has thrown up an open invitation to teams from the rest of the world to come to Sheffield and join in the fun. After the World Championships rumors abounded that a team from Belgium and a team including four of the World finalists from Germany would be making the trip. Black Omega are hoping that this increased interest will help this event break the record for the largest B5 tournament in the world - currently standing at 52 players at GenCon99 in the USA. At the time of writing there are seven teams in the pot including two from last years second place battlers, Newcastle, and a massive three teams from the Welsh champions. Black Omega Online The event is open to any team of five players, and takes place over the weekend of 8-9 April 2000. http://www.prism-comp - Team entry is £25.00 and covers two days entrance into one of the Uks largest wargaming tr.demon.co.uk/b5/webpage.html conventions. Man is far from alone in the universe. A hundred years ago, Humanity made contact with its first alien civilization - or more to the point, they made contact with Humanity. Before the arrival of the Centauri, Humans were confined to their own solar system and forced to use slow sleeper ships to explore the universe. The Centauri gave Earth the stars, offering the use of their jumpgates: portals into hyperspace - and later, taught Humans how to make their own.
