How to Access Saba Open an or use your desktop Saba icon to open Saba using IE. Internet Explorer or Chrome web browsers should always be used for Saba. To access Saba in Internet Explorer, go to bjclearn.org and click “Saba Click Here to Log In” at the top right corner.

Click “SABA LOG IN” and log in using your BJC-NT ID and password. If you have forgotten your password or are unable to log in, contact the IS Help Desk at 314-362-4700 or email [email protected].

When logging in remotely (off site), you must authenticate using DUO Security. If you have not yet enrolled in DUO two- factor authentication, contact the CSC Help Desk at 314-362- 4700 to enroll in DUO remotely. You cannot log in to Saba remotely until you enroll in DUO.

Navigate to Epic Curriculum Begin completing Epic E-Learning lessons from your Me page. To navigate to your Me page, click the menu button at the top left of your screen (1), then click Me (2). Your Me page says “My Plan” at the top. Under the “Learning & Certifications” section, you will see your Epic curriculum. Your curriculum starts with the word “Epic”, has an icon that looks like a stack of books, and says “Curriculum” underneath it. Click the blue title of your Epic curriculum (3).

Complete E-Learning Lessons and Assessments You are now viewing your Epic curriculum. Under the heading E-Learning, Saba displays the list of E- Learning lessons you are required to complete. E-Learning lessons are first, followed by Assessments testing your comprehension. Complete the E-Learning lessons before taking the Assessment. Under the heading E-Learning, find the first lesson. Click View Classes (1). There will only be one online “class” to select. Click Enroll (2). The E-Learning lesson will load for you to view and complete. You must complete the entire module to receive credit for the lesson. Launch Saba using an Internet Explorer web browser (version 11 or higher). or web browsers are also acceptable.

E-Learning completion may be lost if using any other web browser.

When you complete an E-Learning lesson, a message confirms you completed it successfully. Click Return to curriculum to view and complete the next E-Learning lesson.

After completing E-Learning lessons, take the E-Learning Assessments. You must score an 80% or better on Assessments to pass. The material in the Assessments is covered during E-Learning lessons. Assessments are not timed, so carefully consider your selections. You may have multiple E-Learning Assessments to complete. Complete all E-Learning lessons and Assessments.

Retake Assessments You must pass Assessments with a score of 80% or better. Assessments are not timed, so carefully consider your selections. If you do not pass, Saba shows you completed the Assessment unsuccessfully. You will see your score and can review your answers. When you close the Assessment viewing window, your Assessment is still “In Progress.” You must pass the Assessment before you can continue. To try again, click View Summary, then Re-launch.

When you score 80% or better, a green successful icon confirms you passed. Proceed to the next training requirements.

Attend Provider Personalization Lab Attending a final 4-hour in-person class, Personalization Lab, is required. Complete all other training requirements prior to attending Personalization Lab. If other training requirements are incomplete, you are unable to participate in Personalization Lab. Personalization Labs are held in-person at the Annex at Memorial Hospital Belleville. Attendance is limited for social distancing. To register for Personalization Lab, click View Classes (1).

Review Personalization Lab dates and times. Use the “Start date” filter at the top left to filter by date, if needed. When you find the Personalization Lab you will attend, click Enroll to complete registration (2).

A pop-up window displays a Registration Confirmation. An email invitation will be sent to you. Accept the invitation to add this class to your calendar.

Classroom Training Some Providers need Epic access in additional functional areas, such as reporting or research. To receive additional Epic functionality, classroom training is required. If you will attend classroom training, you have Classroom Training in your assigned Epic curriculum. Attend Classroom Training at the date and time scheduled. Attend Classroom Training virtually from a variety of physical locations by clicking to join the Microsoft Teams meeting. To register for in-person classroom training, click View Classes (1).

Review available class dates and times. Use the “Start date” filter at the top left to filter classes by date, if needed. When you find the class you will attend, click Enroll to complete registration (2).

A pop-up window displays a Registration Confirmation. Click Return to Curriculum to register for additional classes or complete E-Learning lessons.

Join Virtual Classroom Training in MS Teams You will receive an automated email meeting invitation from [email protected]. Accept the invitation to add the class to your calendar. At the start time of your virtual Classroom Training, click the link in the email invitation to join the virtual class using Microsoft Teams. Note: Declining the invitation does not cancel your class registration. Use Saba to drop a class registration and re-register for a different class date and time, if needed.

If you do not receive or lose the email, join class through Saba instead. At class time, follow the instructions to log in and navigate to your Epic curriculum page. On your Epic curriculum page, find the Classroom Training section. Click the blue class name (1). Next, click more... (2). In the additional text, click the link to join class virtually with Microsoft Teams (3).

The virtual class link should take you directly to your virtual class in Microsoft Teams. If prompted, click Launch it now (1) or Get the Teams app (2). If you are unable to launch or download the Teams app, click Watch on the web instead. When watching on the web, type your full name as it appears in Human Resources to ensure you receive credit for attending class.
