So I guess what I’m really saying is sports are like an analogy of life frustration -- everyday life can build, then there is the release of pent up emotion that can spill out of you like a warm over carbonated soda gushing out onto the hard dry ground soaking up all that regret, but with a few spoonfuls of hope it can lead to great things flowering into that obses- sive belief that your city and your players and your people are the greatest in the world. Anyway because of the Phillies playing their way to greatness I personally had my faith restored and once again my imagination sparked, that perfection or being the best at something is worth the some- times over whelming frustration that failing for years can bring.
