This list consists of the following categories as defined below:-
1) ACCREDITED SECURITY CHEQUE PRINTERS – Printers who can undertake the whole of the cheque printing process including the coloured security backgrounds, company logos, cheque skeleton (such as payee and signature lines), bank name and branch details, sort code and account numbers and MICR code line. These printers are also authorised to print Bank Giro Credits.
2) ACCREDITED SECURITY CHEQUE PERSONALISATION PRINTERS – This category of printer does not print the security background on cheques, but can undertake all the other printing requirements, including MICR encoding. These printers are also authorised to print Bank Giro Credits.
3) APPROVED DISASTER RECOVER SITES - Approved by C&CCC for the provision of business continuity/disaster recovery facilities in respect of cheque personalisation printing.
4) CERTIFIED BANK GIRO CREDIT PRINTERS - Members of this scheme are authorised to print Bank Giro Credits.
5) LIST OF APPROVED HOLOGRAM APPLIERS – Approved by C&CCC for application Customers wishing to use cheques incorporating holograms

Customers wishing to use cheques incorporating holograms will require approval of their cheques by their clearing bank who will check that: i) The hologram attachment meets the required characteristics as specified in C&CCC Standard 3.1 ii) The hologram has been applied by an C&CCC Approved Hologram Applier (An C&CCC certificate of approval is required by all Appliers of holograms on cheques) or by an C&CCC approved attaching device supplied directly to bank customers wishing to perform their own attaching process.

Customers wishing to use cheques in data mailers will require approval by C&CCC
Any Company wishing to become approved as a supplier of cheques in data mailers shall submit cheques in data mailers to C&CCC for testing.
The conditions that cheques in data mailers have to meet are specified in C&CCC Standard 3.1 & 3.3. (Clause 3.8)
