GAD approved by Mumbai division and DFCCIL is received in HQs on 23.02.15 and after scrutiny GAD returned to CIDCO for following modifications: 1. Pier no.292 and 293 across existing Railway tracks have been proposed as single piers. It would be advisable to provide at least two piers for stability. 2. The vertical clearance over railway tracks is 13.76 m which is quite high. Further, 11.0 m height of girder will result in approx. 25m high space unusable for Railways. The overall height can be reduced by designing semi through girder. 3. Single truss girder has been proposed for both the tracks. Separate girders for two tracks should be planned to facilitate ease of maintenance.
