Day 1: Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia • Arrival in Ulaanbaatar, Capital of Mongolia • Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar, you will be greeted by both your city guide and driver and transfer from Chinggis Khaan International Airport to your hotel • Free and easy expoloration of the Capital’s City Center • Dinner: Authentic Mongolian cuisine - introducing you to the country’s food culture • Overnight in Ulaanbaatar

Day 2: Fly to Bayan-Olgii (1300km) • Catch an early flight to Bayan-Olgii, the only Muslim and Kazakh-majority aimag in all of Mongolia • Upon arrival, you will be greeted by your expedition guide and driver and transfer to your accomodation. • Experience the Kazakh’s way of life • Visiting local bazaars and museum for a taste of Kazakh’s culture • Overnight in Bayan-Olgii

Day 3: Sacred Shiveet Khairhan Mountain (160km) • Drive to Shiveet Khairkhan Mountain • Investigate the intricate petroglyphs in the area near Shiveet Khairkhan Mountain, also known as the sacred mountain • Make camp and overnight near Shiveet Khairkhan Mountain area

Home to a large diverse wild bio life, the area is enchanted by a large ovoo, a shrine, that is of significant vitality to the local Tuvans and their shamans. fun Between Ulaanhus and Tavan Bogd, there are more than 10,000 drawings fact scattered over a 15 kilometer area, containing 150 stone men, 1,500 stone burial markers, 50 deer stones, 6,300 ancient graves and tombs, and thousands of petroglyphs.

Day 4: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park (100km) • Drive to Altai Tavan Bogd National Park (The Holy Five) • Overnight in Altai Tavan Bogd National Park

Many eagle hunters live inside this region to hunt the plentiful wildlife during fun the winter months like corsac, foxes and rabbits. This region contains the full spectrum of archaeology with petroglyphs, standing stones, burial mounds and fact Kazakh cemeteries.

Day 5: Altai Tavan Bogd Potanian Glacier (15km) • Short drive towards the Potanian Glacier and begin our trek for the day. • Soaking in the picturesque landscapes, we will reach the 20km long Potanian Glacier which is an ice river that begins from Altai Tavan Bogd snow peaks. • Witnessing the highest mountain of Mongolia, the Khuiten Mountain, towering in at 4374m, where the view presents as a stunning settling of massive snow-capped peaks. • Drive back to accomodation and stay for another night at the Altai Tavan Bogd National Park

Day 6: Khurgan and Khoton Lake (180km) • Drive to Sirgali area where the twin lakes of Khurgan and Khoton meet • Experience the pristine and crystal clear lakes while bird watching • Overnight near Khurgan and Khoton Lake

Day 7: Sagsai Village (150km) • Drive to Sagsai Village, 20km west of Bayan-Olgii and home to a large number of eagle hunters • Experience staying with an eagle hunter family for the night and observe and learn the authentic way of the nomadic life from them. • Overnight in Sagsai Village

Day 8: Tolbo Lake (80km) • Drive to Tolbo Lake • Visiting the relics and remnants of the war • Interacting with Kazakh families and spending the night with them • Overnight around Tolbo Lake

Tolbo Lake is one of the biggest lakes in all of Western Mongolia and is famed fun for recording several key events in the history of the world. It is also the site of the historic battle between the Bolsheviks and the Russians during the White fact Movement era.

Day 9: Drive back to Bayan-Olgii (50km) • Drive back to Bayan-Olgii • Souvenir shopping for some Kazakh handicrafts • Enjoy a well-deserved hot shower • Authentic Turkish cuisine for dinner • Overnight in Bayan-Olgii

Day 11: Home Sweet Home • End of expedition • Departure from Chinggis Khaan International Airport • Our expedition drivers will drop you off at the airport approx. 3 hours before your scheduled flight
