TENDER NOTICE Cattle Market Management Company DG KHAN Division (CMMCDGK), a Company Limited by Guarantee and established u/s 42 of Companies Ordinance 1984. The objective of CMMCDGK is to establish, organize, manage, operate and regulate cattle markets. CMMCDGK intends to hire, 1.1 Tents Contractor / Firm to provide tents services for designated cattle markets located in DG KHAN Division under control of the Cattle Market Management Company DG KHAN Division, DG KHAN. 1.2 All bids/ proposals received in response to this request in any manner deemed to be in the best interest of CMMCDGK. 2. IN S T RU CT I O N T O AP P L I CA N TS 2.1 Interested Companies/ Firms/Individuals are invited to submit their bids in respect of above services after obtaining and understanding the relevant information relating to the scope of work. 2.2 CMMCDGK will use “Least Cost Method of Selection” under Single Stage one Envelope procedure for selection of proposed services under Punjab Procurement Rules 2014. 2.3 Applications received after due date and time shall not be considered and alternative bids will not be considered. 2.4 Bids will be received at 11:00 AM and publically opened at 11:30AM on 13 August, 2018 at the Head Office of CMMCDGK situated at Commissioner Office Complex , DG KHAN. Bids received after due date and time will not be accepted and will returned unopened. 2.5 Bids are to be submitted in single sealed envelope, clearly marked as such, either by hand or courier, to the following address. No. 064-9260088 2.6 CMMCDGK shall disqualify any Tents service contractor if it finds, at any time, that the information submitted by the Bidder concerning its qualification was false and materially inaccurate. Page 2 of 7 2.7 As per PPRA Rules Clause 35(1), CMMCDGK may reject all bids or proposals at any time prior to the acceptance of a bid or proposal. 3. QU E RI E S AN D CL A RI F I CAT I O N Queries of the Bidders (if any) for seeking clarifications must be received in writing to CMMCDGK within 10(ten) days after publication of bid notice. The quires reached later will not be entertained. 4. T E N DE R S CO P E CMMCDGK requires services in the area of: A. Tents CMMCDGK requires the services of Tents for the Cattle Market DG Khan City, Pull Qambar, Kot Chutta, Nari Jat Wala (Dist. DG Khan), Layyah, Chowk Azam, Karor, Fateh Pur (Dist. Layyah), Muzaffar Garh City, Ali Pur, Jitoi, Shah Jamal, Rohilanwali, Kot Addu & Chowk Qureshi (Dist. Muzaffar Garh), located in the DG KHAN Division. (Rates should be quoted including all taxes), (Area in per Sq.ft rates). Each bidder will submit their rate in per Sq. ft for each District. All the bidders must quote their rates only in which districts they are applying. E V AL UA T I O N C RI T E RI A CMMCDGK will use “Least Cost Method of Selection” for selection under Single Stage One Envelop procedure / method for selection under PPRA Rules 2014. 6. E V AL UA T I O N 6.1 Eligibility The following documents are the pre-requisite to determine Eligibility of the Bidder: 6.1.1 Income Tax Registration Certificates. 6.1.2 Undertaking (as per ANNEXURE-A) on Rs.100/- stamp paper attested by Oath Commissioner regarding non- black listing/ delisting by any Government / Semi-government or private institution / organization. 6.2 Evaluation 6.2.1 Bids will be opened in the presence of bidder’s representatives who wish to attend the Bidding process. 6.2.2 Bid(s) will be evaluated on Least Cost Method of Selection. 7. T E RM A ND CO N DI T I O NS 7.1 Period of Services will be for one year to three years as per law. (Extendable mutely starting from 17 August, 2018 to 30th June 2019. 7.2 The bidder is expected to examine the tender documents thoroughly including all terms and conditions. 7.3 The bidder shall bear all costs / expenses associated with the preparation and submission of the Tender(s) and the Purchaser shall in no case be responsible / liable for those costs / expenses. 7.4 The prospective bidders may solicit clarification as mentioned in Tender Document in writing. 7.5 The Bidder requires to submit bid security CDR of 30000/- PKR of estimated cost amount with Bid. 7.6 The bid validity period shall be 90 days from the last date for submission of the Tender. 7.7 Bidding Procedure The Purchaser will follow the PPRA Rule-38 (2-a) “Single stage One envelope procedure” for the entire process of the selection. Page 4 of 7 7.8 Invoicing and Payments 7.8.1 All payments will be made after deduction of all applicable taxes in Pakistan, amended from time to time. 7.9 Opening of the Tender 7.9.1 Tenders shall be opened at CMMCDGK office at given time and date, in the presence of the Bidder(s) for which they shall ensure their presence without further invitation. 7.9.2 No bidder or its representative will be allowed to keep any digital device (camera, audio recorder, cell phone etc.) during tender opening meeting at given time and location. Non-compliance will cause the rejection of respective bidder. 7.10 Award Criteria 7.10.1 CMMCDGK will use “Least Cost Method of Selection” for selection under Single Stage One Envelop procedure/method under PPRA Rules 2014. 7.10.2 Late receiving bids after due time will not be accepted . ARB I T RA T I O N In case of any difference or dispute arising between the parties relating to the present bid or during the contract period, shall be referred to resolution to the Managing Director of CMMCDGK or his duly authorized nominee whose decision shall be final and binding on both the parties and cannot be challenged in any court of law. 9. Department of Forestry University of Agriculture Faisalabad, Pakistan. ** Department of Applied chemistry and Biochemistry G.C.U Faisalabad, Pakistan. *** Abstract: Ethnobotanical survey was conducted district Layyah, during 2010. The survey was conducted along with Chowk Azam road in some of villages including chaks i.e chak no 145.A/T.D.A,146.A/T.D.A,151/T.D.A,128/T.D.A and chak no 120/T.D.A tehsil and district Layyah. From each village 20 People were selected randomly by lottery method for consultation. For more ethnobotanic information some traditional healers were interviewed. Present study focused on local inhabitants who use traditional resources for self-medication with particular reference to ethnopharmacological application of plant species for diseases and natural cosmetics. The study was carried out by interviewing respondents in remote sites (lack of health facilities, poverty and extensive use of medicinal plants). In total 100 informants were interviewed on their management of diseases. The respondents were old age women (10%), men (60%) and traditional healers (30%) themselves and had knowledge on the medicinal uses of the plants for the said purpose. To collect data systematically on disease management questionnaires and discussions were applied.
