The Indiana Municipal Electric Association (IMEA) is a service organization formed in 1941. IMEA is an invaluable resource and voice for Indiana’s public power communities - from the smallest to the largest. All have benefited by being a member of IMEA at one time or another. All can continue to benefit as one, strong, unified voice. We are dedicated to our founding principles of providing programs and services that bring members of Indiana municipals the protection, knowledge, experience, and tools needed for the safe, efficient and effective utility operation in today’s complex, diverse and ever-changing industry.
