Read Ebook {PDF EPUB} The Cowboy's Saving Grace by Emma Jay A Cowboy's Saving Grace. For years Ive known my maker And hes known me long before that. Between his knees glides a gallant steed And upon his brow rides a cowboy hat. I never understood until just recently The outcome of certain events. All my sin and the fixes Ive been in Are forgiven, because His son He sent. You see, Satan took the shape of a 1600 lb. Bull And I being a mischievous cowboy, good humored, and full of sin Pulled the flank strap, jumped on his back, And out in the arena we did spin. There was 8seconds of silent battle, Just him and I alone. He bucked me down, I lit on my crown And decided I had broken every bone. It was about then that fear set in As I tried to climb out of the dirt. The bull lunged with a flash and the whole crowd gasped Because they all knew that I was hurt. It was pure adrenaline driving me As I jumped to make my break. I was almost there when I felt horns and hair Just five feet from the darn gate. I thought nows my time, Im a goner for sure, As I frantically searched all around. But my Savior appeared in costume and gear Dressed as a rodeo clown. Ive never been a wanting man Of help or Gods free grace, But at that time I made up my mind And was relieved to see Christs face. He stepped between the bull and I And I knew he took my place. For every gore the crowd groaned more And the life drained from his face. I know that fellow Cowboy Was Gods Saving Grace, Because when he died I was on his mind I could read it on his face. Ya know it has taken years of my life Before I was able to see That it took a life laid down by that rodeo clown To be forgiven of sin eternally. The Cowboy's Saving Grace. Emma Jay has been writing longer than 'd care to admit, using her endless string of celebrity crushes as inspiration for her heroes. She discovered her husband has way more tolerance for screensavers and hunk-decorated blog posts when she calls them her "heroes." Emma, married 22 years (wed at the age of 8, of course) believes writing romance is like falling in love, over and over again. Creating characters and love stories is an addiction she has no intention of breaking. 2014 in review. The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2014 annual report for this blog. Here’s an excerpt: A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,600 times in 2014. If it were a cable car, it would take about 43 trips to carry that many people. New Covers! I’ve updated the covers on three of my early novellas. What do you think? Excerpt from Crossing the Line, a Blackwolf Hot Shot novella. “Only one room?” Jennifer repeated, and looked up at Chris, wondering what to do next. This motel was so close to the hospital. “Where’s another motel?” “We’ll take it,” Chris said, leaning past her and dropping his own credit card on the counter. She made an unintelligible sound of protest. He leaned one elbow on the counter and looked at her as the clerk ran his card. “You need to get to bed. We’ll figure something out.” He straightened when the clerk handed him a clipboard. He scrawled some information, passed the clipboard back, and she handed him his card and a key. And, it looked like a piece of paper with numbers on it. Her number? Ballsy, considering he was checking into a motel with another woman. Jennifer knew she should be doing something—arguing, paying, but her brain had shut down as he took her arm and guided her down the sidewalk to the room. He unlocked and pushed open the door. Ordinarily, Jennifer would worry about the decor, or the cleanliness, but all she could see was the bed. She stumbled toward it, pulled the sheets down and dropped to a sitting position. “So, your side,” Chris said, amused. She hated that she was amusing him. “You want a shower? I’m going to take a shower.” She waved him off and dropped her head to the pillow, trying to push the image of him naked, with the water sluicing over his skin. Now Available: Crossing the Line, A Blackwolf Hotshot Novella. Ever wonder what happens to Jason from Standing on the Line? Well, this isn’t his story, but it takes the next step. It’s the story of his sister and best friend. Clearly I love working on those. 99 cents at Amazon, Barnes and Noble and Google Play. Waiting (impatiently) for Kobo and Apple! Jennifer Hoyt rushes to her brother’s side when he’s injured fighting wildfires in California. He’s the only family she has. The first person she encounters when she reaches the hospital is her brother’s best friend, Chris Bonner. As long as they’ve been friends, Chris has gotten Jason into one scrape after another, scrapes Jennifer has had to pull them out of. Chris was the one who convinced Jason to be a hotshot firefighter. She unleashes her frustration and fear on the younger man, who doesn’t flinch. Instead of being the troublemaker she’s always known, he becomes her rock as they work together to help her brother heal. The more she gets to know him, the lower her resistance to her charms. Can she really fall for her brother’s best friend? A New Cover…and an Upcoming Book. I’ve returned to my Blackwolf Hot Shots stories, and I’ve changed the cover on the second book. The woman on the cover looked way too vampy–I don’t know what I was thinking. The third book, Chris and Jen’s story, should be out in May. I’ve also dropped the prices to 99 cents for the first two novellas, so you have a chance to catch up before the third one comes out. Considering Covers. I’m working on my third Blackwolf Hot Shots book, the one that actually triggered the whole series. Chris, the hot shot who saved Jason’s life in Standing on the Line, is going to help Jason’s sister Jennifer take care of Jason. She is not his biggest fan, because he was the one who talked Jason into joining the hot shots anyway. The title will be Crossing the Line. Not sure which of these suits best, and fits in with my other two: Which do you like? Or do I start over? Taming the Cowboy–A New Boxed Set. Some surfers wore bathing suits, other short wetsuits. Some were clearly more experienced than others, steering around others surfers with a mere shift of their weight on the board. One in particular drew her attention, a lean man with slicked back hair, water streaming down his bare chest, his board shorts riding low on his hips, his stance at once alert and relaxed as he moved through the water. She caught her breath as he paddled, ready for one of the taller waves that rolled toward him, as he pounced to his feet just be-low the crest of the wave, maneuvering his body and board up and down the height of the swell and riding the length until the wave disappeared. His momentum carried him forward onto the beach, and Elizabeth’s breath caught in recognition. Sullivan pushed his hair away from his face and grinned. “See that?” She saw every bit of that, long legs, broad chest covered with a soft-looking layer of curly hair. A tattoo of a hibiscus was etched on his upper right shoulder. But she was pretty sure that wasn’t what he was talking about. “You make it look effortless.” He jammed the end of his board in the sand and dropped to sit beside her. “Mom had me out on a board practically before I could walk.” He twisted to look at her. “Want to give it a shot?” “I’m not dressed.” “I can wait. Go change.” She thought about what Bailey had said, about feeling his hands on her, and suddenly the thought terrified her. She hadn’t had sex in a long time, and the longing he sent through her was frightening. His scent swirled around her, and his water-cooled arm brushed hers. Her nipples tightened at that simple contact and suddenly it wasn’t enough. She pushed to her feet. “I’ll be right back.” Cover Reveal–Taming the Cowboy. I cannot tell you how excited I am about this book. I love West. I love Teresa. I love West and Teresa! He brought his up behind hers to show her what he meant, and she felt the tensing of his strong thigh muscles against her legs. The sensation damn near had her melting off the horse. But before she could, he nudged the horse into a faster pace, first jarring her teeth with each step before easing into a rocking gait that had the scenery speeding past them, the wind blowing her hair against him. The sensation was—incredible, and surprised a laugh from her. He tightened his arms around her and she leaned into his chest, feeling the play of muscle against her back as he guided the horse in a looping circle around Liam’s five acres. Teresa barely felt the chill on her skin as they rode, West guiding the horse left and right, making Teresa laugh more as her stomach dipped. Beneath them, though, the horse started to tire, and Teresa felt the animal’s sides bellow as she slowed to a walk. West guided the horse to the barn. He dismounted and reached for Teresa, his hands strong on her waist, making her feel tiny and feminine. She placed her hands on his shoulders as he lifted her, and she realized the horse wasn’t the only one breathing hard. Her heart jumping in her chest, she lifted her chin in invitation. Before she could rethink her decision, he’d lifted her off her feet, turned her and pressed her against the wall of the barn. His lips, though, when they touched hers, were gentle, exploring, sliding over hers, cool and dry from their ride, before parting her lips and touching his tongue to hers. When she opened to him, he moved closer, pinning her between his hard body and the fresh lumber of the wall, filling her with his taste, coffee and fresh air and mint. She breathed him in, tightening her arms around his shoulders. God, those shoulders. And the way he kissed her, the rhythm not unlike the gait of the horse, forward and back, deeper, then softer. She let her tongue slide along his, exploring, seeing what made him tighten his grip on her hips, what made his breath catch. A thrill went through her at having power over such a big man. She released his shoulders to slide her hands between them, over his chest, wanting so badly to unsnap his shirt and feel his skin against hers. She went as far as crumpling the fabric in her hands before she came to her senses and smoothed the shirt against his skin. She pressed her palms against his chest and eased back, the lack of oxygen to her brain making her reckless. He lifted his head to look at her, not releasing her, not stepping back. That should have scared her, should have worried her, but with West, she wasn’t afraid. She looked up into his blue eyes, shadowed in the dark barn. “Not here.” The Cowboy s Saving Grace an erotic western novella Taming the Cowboy Book 2 Online PDF eBook.
