Joe Satriani Torna Live in Italia Per 5 Imperdibili Date Previste a Maggio GIOVEDì 14 NOVEMBRE 2019 JOE SATRIANI, una delle figure più prestigiose nella storia della musica rock, sarà in Italia il prossimo anno con cinqueimperdibili date del suo THE SHAPESHIFTING TOUR 2020. Joe Satriani torna live in Italia per 5 imperdibili date previste a I live del musicista sono previsti per martedì 12 maggio 2020 al Teatro maggio 2020! Verdi di Firenze, giovedì 14 maggio al Teatro Augusteo di Napoli, venerdì 15 maggio al Teatro Politeama Greco di Lecce, sabato 16 maggio all'Auditorium Conciliazione di Roma e per concludere lunedì 18 maggio al Teatro dal Verme di Milano. Vero e proprio pioniere, nonché esempio di stile per tutti coloro che a lui ANTONIO GALLUZZO si sono ispirati, JOE SATRIANI è uno dei musicisti più acclamati al mondo, nato artisticamente negli anni '80, l'epoca d'oro dei chitarristi, visti come dei veri e propri eroi. Nato a Long Island, classe 1956, SATRIANI comincia a suonare la chitarra da autodidatta a 14 anni, influenzato dal grande amore per Jimi Hendrix, e dopo qualche anno inizia a prendere lezioni di jazz. [email protected] SPETTACOLINEWS.IT Nel 1978 inizia a suonare con alcune piccole band locali, grazie alle quali riesce a migliore le sue prestazioni, empatizzare con il palco e guadagnare la fiducia in se stesso. Nel 1986 si unisce a The Greg Kihn Band, rivelandosi come la prima vera opportunità per SATRIANI. Quello stesso anno il chitarrista pubblica il suo primo full-length album da solista dal titolo 'Not of This Earth'. L'anno successivo pubblica il secondo progetto discografico 'Surfing with the Alien' per Relativity Records, chelo trasforma in una vera super star: il disco è certificato platino RIAA, ottiene critiche positive dalla stampa e, considerato tra i lavori più rilevanti del rock mainstream, si classifica alla posizione #29 nella classifica Top 200 album di Billboard. Nel 1988, Mick Jagger chiede a JOE SATRIANI di accompagnarlo nel suo tour solista: il chitarrista accetta ben volentieri l'offerta, partendo con il cantante e leader dei Rolling Stones per il Giappone. Tornato da quell'esperienza pubblica il suo terzo album in studio 'Flying in a Blue Dream' in cui il chitarrista registra anche dei cantati, rivelandosi un successo: i singoli 'One Big Rush' e 'Big Bad Moon', infatti, raggiungono rispettivamente la posizione #23 e #17 nella classifica Mainstream Rock di Billboard. Nel 1992 SATRIANI pubblica 'The Extremist', album contenente il celebre brano hard rock 'Summer Song' certificato disco d'oro, che raggiunge la posizione #22 nella classifica Billboard e che Pag. 1 / 2 conta attualmente 3,2 milioni di streams su Spotify. Dopo aver pubblicato nel 1995 il suo sesto e omonimo album, JOE SATRIANI fonda Tour G3, una tournée ideata con Steve Vai ed Eric Johnson con il fine di far conoscere al mondo i chitarristi più virtuosi della scena musicale rock: dato il grande successo, l'evento diventa una vera e propria istituzione e da allora ogni anno collabora con un diverso gruppo di chitarristi a rotazione. Nel 1998 il musicista pubblica l'album 'Crystal Planet', certificato disco d'oro nel Regno Unito e che raggiunge la posizione #50 nella classifica dei Migliori 200 Album per Billboard USA. I primi anni duemila sono tra i più produttivi per il chitarrista che pubblica 'Engines of Creation' (2000), un album con sfumature elettroniche; 'Live in San Francisco'(2001); 'Strange Beautiful Music' (2002); 'The Electric Joe Satriani: An Anthology' (2003), una raccolta dei migliori brani dell'artista; 'Is There Love in Space?' (2004) e 'Super Colossal' (2006). Nel 2009 JOESATRIANI insieme a Sammy Hagar, Michael Anthony (ex componenti dei Van Halen) e a Chad Smith (ex batterista dei Red Hot Chili Peppers) fonda il supergruppo Chickenfoot, con il quale pubblica due album, pur continuando a lavorare ai suoi progetti da solista. Il 2012 è l'anno dell'album live 'Satchurated', seguito da 'Unstoppable Momentum' (2013) e 'Shockwave Supernova' (2014). Nel gennaio 2018, SATRIANI torna con il suo sedicesimo album in studio, 'What Happens Next', registrato insieme al suo compagno di band Chad Smith, alla batteria, e insieme a Glenn Hughes, bassista dei Deep Purple. THE SHAPESHIFTING TOUR 2020 partirà il prossimo aprile e, dopo aver toccato il Regno Unito e il Nord Europa, arriverà in Italia con cinque imperdibili date, per poi proseguire negli Stati Uniti.     Rock Album Discography Last up-date: September 27th, 2021 Rock Album Discography “Music was my first love, and it will be my last” was the first line of the virteous song “Music” on the album “Rebel”, which was produced by Alan Parson, sung by John Miles, and released I n 1976. From my point of view, there is no other citation, which more properly expresses the emotional impact of music to human beings. People come and go, but music remains forever, since acoustic waves are not bound to matter like monuments, paintings, or sculptures. In contrast, music as sound in general is transmitted by matter vibrations and can be reproduced independent of space and time. In this way, music is able to connect humans from the earliest high cultures to people of our present societies all over the world. Music is indeed a universal language and likely not restricted to our planetary society. The importance of music to the human society is also underlined by the Voyager mission: Both Voyager spacecrafts, which were launched at August 20th and September 05th, 1977, are bound for the stars, now, after their visits to the outer planets of our solar system (mission status: https://voyager.jpl.nasa.gov/mission/status/). They carry a gold- plated copper phonograph record, which comprises 90 minutes of music selected from all cultures next to sounds, spoken messages, and images from our planet Earth. There is rather little hope that any extraterrestrial form of life will ever come along the Voyager spacecrafts. But if this is yet going to happen they are likely able to understand the sound of music from these records at least.
