The weather has been kind to many of us, with rain being received now. We can do without the devastating storms that many areas have received. What a great honour it is to be president in the year that the Pure Jersey Breeders Association celebrates its 25th Anniversary. I would like to thank the members, past and present, for the support of the dinner and the book. Special thanks go to the people that helped plan and organise the book and dinner. It was great to see and speak to past and present members at the dinner. It is with great pleasure that I write this message with many happenings regarding our association over the past 12 months. We started with the Feature Show in Nurmurkah with breeders making the commitment to attend and make it a great show. We held two On Farm Challenges, one in Victoria and the other in Queensland, both which was sponsored by Daviesway. It is great to see Daviesway still sponsoring our On Farm Challenges year after year. It is pleasing to see a large number of entries in these events by all breeders. The 2015 Queensland Feature Show was held in Maleny, entries were slightly down this year but the quality of the cattle being shown were still of high standards. I would like to thank all our sponsors and members for devoting their time to make all these events a huge success. The dedication and devotion that everyone displays for the Pure Jersey breed is to say the least is amazing. I would like to thank all members that take the time to classify their cattle, and thank the classifiers that take the time to do this job. I would like to thank the committee members for their support and assistance that I have been given over the last 12 months. I would like to wish the committee all the success in the next 12 months. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and Prosperous New Year.
