SERVICE

Diversity Advancement Within IU’s department of Psychological and Brain Sciences, faculty and Committee graduate students meet biweekly discuss solutions to diversify the Indiana University department, especially by recruiting faculty from underrepresented groups. 2018 – Present

GU2IU Getting You to IU: As an effort to recruit underrepresented students into Indiana University the PBS graduate program, I along with other graduate students met with 2018 prospective students applying to graduate programs and also participated as a panelist to further inform students about graduate school and life in Bloomington.

Vice President I coordinated events germane to the research and career interests of the Rutgers Psychological Society psychology community at Rutgers and delegated between the community Rutgers University and the organization. For example, I coordinated a graduate and 2015 – 2017 professional panel to discuss graduate school and future careers in psychology.

Psi Chi Honor Society In collaboration with the Psychological Society, I tutored students in Rutgers University quantitative methods and personality psychology. I also mentored 2016 – Present incoming psychology students in scheduling and planning for the future (e.g. graduate school, senior honors thesis, research involvement).
