I also serve as a resource to UCSF Epilepsy Center and Department of Neurology faculty and trainees related to medication therapy questions and consultations. Epilepsy Foundation Guest speaker of Northern California 5 of 14 Proposed CV 042015 Prepared: April 21, 2015 SUMMARY OF SERVICE ACTIVITIES In early 2010, I served temporarily (Jan-April, 2010) as Associate Vice-Provost of Academic Affairs (40% effort) while Vice-Provost Sally Marshall took on additional duties as Acting Executive Vice-Provost (after the departure of EVP Eugene Washington). She resumed her role as Vice-Provost of Academic Affairs when Jeff Bluestone was appointed Executive Vice-Provost; and, it was at that time that I returned to my regular duties. CONTRIBUTIONS TO DIVERSITY My university service flows both from my service as Associate Dean, Academic Affairs and my interests in representing the pharmacy profession and pharmacy academy at the systemwide and campus levels. I spend approximately 50% of my time in duties related to my Associate Dean appointment (faculty advancement; policy review and revision; compensation plan revision; regular meetings with Vice-Provost and Vice/Associate Deans from all professional schools; Dean's leadership group; grievance/misconduct cases related to School of Pharmacy and other professional programs). TEACHING AND MENTORING TEACHING Teaching Summary With the expansion of the therapeutics curriculum to a 4-quarter series in 2011, I began as instructor of record for Clinical Pharmacy 120 (CP120)-Therapeutics 1.
